The heart of this intimate wedding & event destination is its rustic 200 yr old bank barn and farm house that are ideal for weddings, micro weddings, mini weddings, elopements, and receptions. The additional outdoor spaces, southern style wrap around porch, and dining room and banquet room of the main farm house offer couples abundant choices when planning their day. As you approach, the historic Big Red Barn stands poised and proud to greet guests. Situated in the heart of the South Mtn. Corridor, you are enveloped in nature and instantly feel secluded from the outside world. The view of South Mountain, the trickling sounds of Little Antietam Creek and the tree lined pastures with happily grazing cows put you right at ease and into a world of peace and tranquility. The Big Red Barn is a glorious historic piece of history. Its true rustic charm and character are unmatched. Once inside, the barn is characterized by three large well lit spaces with natural light that pours in through the enormous windows, doors and barn doors. The windows and doors display the amazing views of South Mountain and open pastures. The barn door opening is appointed with floor to ceiling white linen drapery to frame your event or to tie back and let in the views of pastures and neighboring barns . The barn can comfortably accommodate up to 100 family and friends for the most memorable event. Couples can choose to add their own special appointments to the space and expansive surrounding grounds. Decor/other packages are available. The wrap around porch of the farm house with its southern style charm creates the perfect backdrop for beverage and appetizer service or even your ceremony. The circular driveway surrounds a grassy area for lounging under a tent or the unending blue skies and the pool patio and fire pit beckons socializing, lawn games, and relaxing with guests.
