es about our dogs. We live in WI and were planning a CO elopement, so Kelsey’s elopement guide was so useful. We used this guide to find our caterer, bakery, hair stylist & makeup artist and to plan our wedding day timeline. Kelsey helped to make our day everything we wanted it to be, she was so much fun and the photos turned out AMAZING. Once she sent the final gallery, we sat down with a glass of wine and were able to re-live the most wonderful day. I couldn’t believe how perfectly she captured everything. google and found a venue with the BEST views (because what else do you need from a mountain wedding?). From there I was able to find vendors who had worked with our venue. When I opened Kelsey's website I immediately read her info and felt like "YES, we're going to get along well". Other photographer's websites we felt like just another number, and this isn't to their fault because they were definitely talented, I just didn't feel that connection like I did when visiting Kelsey's website. She even met with us in person when we went to visit the venue, which solidified our decision. It is so important to feel like you can communicate with your wedding photographer. The day of your wedding is a whirlwind and Kelsey was able to pretty much read my mind. For example pictures she knew we wanted but I had forgotten (which is much easier to do than you think), she came up to us and said do you want x, y, z picture? Let me tell you that was so helpful. With that said, she was also photographing "behind the scenes" and we'd forget she was there. Honestly the perfect combo which is exactly what every bride wants (even if you don't know it yet).
Now that we had our photographer choosen, roughly 6 months prior to our event, COVID hit. For the most part we put our plans on hold and/or we "waited it out". Half proceeding as planned, half panicking we will have to make tough decisions in the future. Well turns out we ended up needing to cut our guest count by 75% (that's a whole other discussion but bottom line is, it was no one's fault and we understood). Kelsey was amazing leading up, answering our emails and calls helping with timelines whenever needed. AND most importantly making last minute changes 2 weeks prior. We had to piece together guest count and move puzzle pieces and Kelsey was 100% there to make it work for us. She gave us credits when we could no longer use the photo booth, no questions asked. Truly made the tough times (i.e. getting married during a pandemic) more seamless. ALSO, being from Kansas City we weren't able to make it out to Breck for an engagement session and she easily swapped it out for a photoshoot the week of the wedding. I would 2000% recommend her to anyone! And she does travel from all my KC folks!

t her job, and she has actual customer service experience - she'll follow your instructions/guidelines and find better opportunities than you thought of, she'll tell you when she's on her way, she'll get along with your entire family, she'll tell you when you can expect sneak peek pics vs. the full onslaught and do so without you asking. She'll also steer you strategically with you and your event in mind first.
Her style is GOREGOUS. We wanted candid, we wanted casual, we wanted authentic and we didn't want ultra HD pictures - we wanted something timeless and atmospheric that really captured our day and she NAILED it.
You can't not love Kelsey, she's the most approachable, down to earth, funny, and warm person you could hope to have around you on your wedding day.

I could tell from the beginning of our conversations she was someone my fiancé and I would mesh well with. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, everything turned out incredible. I love her style of photography. Not only that, but she was so great to work with on our wedding day. She followed our timeline without me ever having to worry about anything and she makes you feel so comfortable taking photos. I was worried about feeling awkward or “posed” during our pictures as I wanted to look natural and feel like they accurately depicted “us”. hired both her and an assistant for our wedding day and it was perfect! Every picture looks so good and so many natural looking moments. short notice. I found Kelsey’s website and read about the first 2 lines of copy and knew I wanted her to shoot for us (and also maybe be my bestie…). She answered all of my 20,000 questions leading up to our date and helped us select a location/time that would be perfect for what we wanted in our photos. She was super flexible, even when we almost panicked and rescheduled due to weather. She gave us a whole slew of local suggestions for anything and everything we could ever need, And VERY IMPORTANT, she somehow made us, the two most awkward and camera shy humans ever, look ah-mazing in every single one of our pics. I have no idea how she does it folks, but there’s literally not ONE bad picture in our gallery. She also knew her stuff when it came to what we were envisioning and the type of setting we wanted (we had no idea coming from Florida). sey Booth Photography on the knot we were still living three states away, but she took time to talk me through what to expect from her as a photographer, and everything she said was spot on (e.g. what time to expect her at our venue, pricing, timing to receive our photos, how many photographers) We also did our engagement photos with Kelsey, which turned out beautiful! I had a tall request of wanting the aspens changing colors in our photos, which our photo session was a little late in the fall season for that, but she made it happen! She found the PERFECT spot to capture the feel I wanted. During our entire session she never once made us feel rushed or on a hard time line, instead she waited until we felt we had the poses and pictures we wanted. She kept all our pictures very natural and realistic to truly capture US! She is the best at capturing the cutest candid photos and she also worked great with our crazy little puppy! My husband was concerned our engagement session would feel awkward kissing and hugging in front of a stranger, he even admitted afterwards, it was the complete opposite! Kelsey made the whole session fun and comfortable! On wedding day Kelsey showed up exactly on time and was ready to work, she knew exactly what to do while I was busy getting hair and make-up done without me saying a word – A bride’s dream come true! She captured the whole day from getting ready, to the ceremony, the reception, and the dance seamlessly; again without me having to think twice about it, she just worked her magic in the background! The photos are perfect and working with Kelsey was enjoyable, we were laughing and giggling the whole time! Kelsey was very responsive to all my emails and listened to how I wanted the pictures to turn out. She was so great she’ll never be able to get rid of us, family photos next year?! YES!
