Greenlands Farm is a beautiful farm and barn wedding venue situated in Bolivia, North Carolina. This sprawling scenic property was founded by Heather and Henry Burket in 2002. Since then, they and their family have worked tirelessly to practice sustainable farming methods and create a rich and vibrant event setting. Greenlands Farm offers couples a rural retreat of open meadows, verdant gardens, and scenic surroundings to celebrate their love. Spread across 12 acres, couples wishing to wed here can choose from any number of natural settings to stage their day. To-be-weds can exchange their heartfelt vows in the open air with the tranquil pond providing the perfect backdrop. Intimate elopement ceremonies can take place in a grove of trees here, that add magic and meaning to couples’ commitments. A social hour can be held in the meticulously manicured garden here, where guests can enjoy the fragrance and beauty of this natural setting. For a covered outdoor reception, couples are welcome to erect a reception tent on the grounds. This gives them the freedom to style their party to their specifications while staying connected to nature. An open-air reception can also be accommodated here. In cooler months, an indoor reception option is available also. Couples can choose to enhance their experience here by adding a visit from one of the farm’s beloved llamas. These friendly farm animals can make a special appearance at receptions, cocktail hours, or as additions to wedding photos. A Bridal get-ready room is available on-site to facilitate comfortable and convenient event preparations for the wedding party. This family-owned-and-operated property offers couples the freedom to style and serve their day as they wish. Outside catering and vendors are welcome at Greenlands Farm, with wine and beer being supplied by the venue. Wines available here have been sourced from small wineries that specialize in small batch production. Guests may also have the chance to purchase some of the organic produce that is sold at the Saturday Roadside Market by the venue’s owners. These products make for wonderful event favors or mementos for guests.
