er! On our wedding day, we were truly blown away by the flowers (but i knew we would be!). Kim and Chris are so beyond talented. All of our guests loved the flowers as well and we received so many compliments. I am definitely a control freak, but felt so comfortable just letting Kim and Chris do their thing. knew that we had to hire Greenlion and that her and Chris would make our wedding day dreams come true. During our planning meeting, Kim made us feel like we were the only couple having a 2020 wedding and we had so much fun with her reviewing our vision board, looking at different types of votives / candles/ linens and discussing what we wanted for the day (both design wise and feeling). My dad even had a great time and stayed close to the end. About a month after planning our day with Greenlion, the pandemic hit and unfortunately (like most couples) that changed our wedding plans. Kim and Chris did everything in their power to accommodate us on our new 2021 date and reassured us that they would do everything in their power to bring our vision to life on our new date. At the last minute, we decided to have a microwedding on our original 2020 wedding date and Greenlion was able bring our small 6 person wedding to life with a beautiful full bouquet for me, a boutonniere for my lovely groom and a couple arrangements for our dinner table. It was a sneak peak of what was to come in 2021 and it made us so excited to work with Kim and Chris in 2021. On our 2021 postponed wedding date, Kim and Chris created PURE MAGIC. From the lanterns at the ceremony aisle to the arbor flowers to the greenery for my dad's vintage car to the bouquets / boutonnieres to the hanging element within the tent to the tables, everything (and I mean everything) was perfection. To quote one of our groomsmen, "I don't usually notice flowers and stuff but yours were really great and that hanging element was really cool". The attention to detail and care that Kim and Chris put into our special day was exceptional and even though they were in the middle of one of their busiest seasons and dealing with certain flower storages, they made us feel the most special. Kim and Chris, I cannot thank you enough for all you did for Will and I. Our wedding day would literally not have been the same without you. You guys are truly the best! Thank you thank you thank you!

contact them because their services looked out of our price-range, but Kim and Chris happily worked with us to keep costs reasonable while still producing the most beautiful, special florals that I have ever seen. After sitting down with Kim to discuss ideas (probably the most fun wedding meeting we had), we knew that she understood our vision and felt completely comfortable letting Greenlion loose to create for us! And wow, the results were spectacular. From the smallest details up to the overall atmosphere, Greenlion worked magic for our mid-winter celebration. The bouquets incorporated dried elements, branchy bits, and seed pods alongside fresh greenery and cream and sunset-kissed blooms. I was in heaven sniffing the sweet peas all afternoon! The boutonnieres were little dried treasures, and they even made a mini-boutonniere on a safety pin for our four-year-old nephew. On the dinner tables, they mixed greenery, dried elements, and white blooms in playful glass vessels, creating loose, organic, and unusual arrangements. Beyond these wonderful details, Kim and Chris transformed two spaces for us, creating the atmosphere we sought. For the ceremony, they constructed a wild, organic hanging arbor to turn a simple, rustic hoop house into an ethereal space. And they transformed the barn where we held the reception into the warm, cozy, and glowing space that we had dreamed of for our dark, winter wedding. The candlelight, particularly the reflections on the taper candle hurricanes, was pure magic. Multiple guests told me that they actually gasped when they entered the barn because it was so special. So, please, look no further for your wedding. Kim and Chris are artists, designers, and magic-makers, but also completely professional, organized, and responsive. You’ll be SO glad you worked with them.

had to most comfortable and fun conversation about the wedding and what my vision was. I was so excited to meet her in-person. To begin—I know nothing about flowers. NOTHING. I love them, but I can’t tell you what most of my favorites are called. I came to our first meeting with such a specific vision but zero knowledge. I would imagine that can be a tough combination for a florist. It wasn’t. I immediately watched my dream vision come to life in front of my eyes. I had a BLAST at every meeting. Kim is such a sweet soul and her talent is IMPRESSIVE, to say the least. The days/months leading up to our wedding were a little killer—I could NOT wait to see everything come to life. The first sight of flowers was our first look—my bouquet was GORGEOUS. Beyond what I imagined. And the boutonnieres were so cool. We were both thrilled. When my husband and I headed down towards our ceremony and saw Kim and Chris finishing the arbor and aisle—I was beyond excitement. First off—it was so nice to meet Chris (just as kind and talented as Kim—what a freaking team!!). Second—OH MY GOSH. They absolutely nailed it. The colors were spot on and the design was something that I could only dream of. And we hadn’t even seen the reception tent yet. As I walked into the tent for the first time, I had tears in my eyes. It was honestly the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. Every single detail was even better than I could have imagined. Greenlion made our floral dreams come true and I will be forever grateful to Kim and Chris—they are the absolute best and their talent is endless. I was not 100% set on even getting married in Newport, but once I found Greenlion it was game over. Kim was so kind and talked to me multiple times on the phone to discuss the entire vision (not even just the flowers) before we had even booked to help me solidify my decision to get married in Newport. Boy, did they deliver. We had the absolutely best time creating our vision for the wedding together. From start to finish they made me feel like the only bride they were working with (even though I know there were many!) We were constantly talking and sending ideas back and forth to each other - Kim was genuinely excited every time we thought of something new. They were honestly more than just our florist throughout this whole process, they were friends and always there for us. Even my husband trusted their taste so much that anytime I wasn’t sure about anything (even if it had nothing to do with the flowers) he would say “ask Kim!” I had absolutely 0 stress leading up to and throughout our wedding because I knew I was in good hands with Kim and Chris. We dreamt up using orange as a pop color for a unique touch which could have been a risky decision, but I trusted Kim and Chris so much and they executed beyond my wildest dreams. They understood my husband and I and created the most perfect, magical atmosphere for us to celebrate our marriage. It was so unique, special, and gorgeous. I almost fell on the floor when I saw the venue that day! Kim and Chris single handedly created the wedding out our dreams. Our guests cannot stop talking about how special everything was, and we owe so much of that that to Greenlion. Kim and Chris, thank you for everything. We are forever grateful. xx

s able to quickly throw out some extremely close alternatives. I felt so comfortable giving them little direction (I didn’t have a strict vision) and allowing them to fill in the blanks with free creative reign, and it turned out absolutely perfectly. I knew I wanted wild flowers and bright colors, and the arrangements were put together so perfectly - I had never seen something so beautiful. They were also very creative - I had wanted hanging plants, which was going to be out of my budget, but Chris had built some stands for the table that were thin and created that floating illusion. They also had various props (like table numbers) which really helped take some of the stress of when thinking about all the little details (one less thing to do!!). I would highly recommend them to everyone - I couldn’t think of my day being any more perfect and I attribute a lot to them and their creativity, amazing personalities, and ability to create such a beautiful space that I could have never dreamed up myself. e. She was so understanding of our wants/needs, while also provided us with her expert opinion/invaluable experience at every point. We asked for romantic/classic, but also modern. What Greenlion created was not only exactly what we asked for, but it was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. From the immaculate details to the grand table settings, and where to begin with how they designed the arbor at Castle Hill Inn (it was a piece of floral art)… Greenlion delivered! They are the best at what they do and their talent is limitless. The mother of the bride even came down on the day of to check everything was going smoothly and Kim took the time to come over and say hello. So hands on and kind. What more could you ask from your wedding florist? Then when I (the bride) walked into the tent for the first time and saw what Greelion had created for us, I was literally brought to tears at how beautiful it was. Like walking through a fairytale. We have not stopped hearing compliments from our guests and I truly believe the flowers are something everyone will remember forever. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the day that it was without Greenlion. If you get the opportunity to work with them you should absolutely take it. We could not recommend them more highly.

When I first walked into my ceremony space, I could hardly breathe. I am so emotional just thinking about it!! I wish I could give you a million stars because you deserve it. My guests are still saying it was the most romantic, dreamy wedding they have ever been to and I owe so much to you...that means it was everything I wanted it to be. d Chris are not only exceptional at what they do, they are visionary and can even make custom pieces for your wedding. Greenlion was also my favorite vendor to work with throughout the wedding process--which isn't a knock to any of my wonderful vendors but I just really enjoyed talking through and planning the overall aesthetic with Kim. From a business perspective, they are extremely organized, transparent and communicate very well. Greenlion does only 1 wedding a day so you don't have to worry about them getting pre-occupied with another's wedding on your special day. On the day of my wedding I was simply blown away with their work. I would recommend Greenlion to anyone and absolutely everyone!!!
