So easy to work with! My wedding cake looked beautiful and was delicious!

Greg Marsh was highly recommended to us by everyone! During our cake tasting everything we sampled was delicious! We chose a small 2 tier cake to go with our donuts bar. We chose mocha chip with chocolate mousse for the bottom layer and vanilla with huckleberry filling for the top tier with ombre buttercream icing. Everyone at our wedding was complimenting us on how delicious the cake was! It was also impressive that Greg personally delivered our cake to the venue! We also found his cakes to be affordable. We decided on a simple cake for our wedding however looking at other cakes on Facebook that Greg has created it is clear that he is passionate and skilled in what he does.

We were excited to have a fully gluten free cake at our wedding but when our venue was cutting it to serve to our guests, we found out the bottom layer was not cooked through all the way. We were also excited to have huckleberry filling but when we saw it, it was grey in color. However, the parts that were cooked through all the way, tasted amazing!

From the moment we first met Greg, on through our email correspondence and wedding day itself, there was no doubt in our minds that we had found the perfect baker for our wedding cake. He was able to create exactly what we had envisioned, only better! We could not have been any happier with the end result. It was a stunning creation and oh- so delicious! We can't wait until our one-year anniversary to have some more though we know it won't be quite the same. Greg's eye for the exquisite and attention to detail gave us full confidence that we would not have a confectionery worry in the world on our wedding day. We could not have chosen a more talented baker to work with than Greg Marsh and we look forward to future occasions to order one of his cakes.

So tasty! Going into wedding planning the cake was the only thing I was sure about. It was really easy to schedule a tasting with Greg Marsh and once we tasted we had a hard time picking just one cake flavor, but Greg and his team made it easy by letting us pick different flavors for each tier at no extra charge.

Greg Marsh cakes are not only truly beautiful, but insanely delicious! Greg Marsh did our wedding and groom's cakes and their work exceeded our expectations. Greg listened to what we wanted and put his own creative spin on things as well, which is exactly the design expertise we wanted him to incorporate. We've never eaten more delicious cake, either. It will be hard to wait for our 1 year anniversary to eat the topper we saved :)

We found Marsh cakes at one our local wedding party shows. My husband & I had already decided what we wanted our cake to look like, a Geode amethyst cake. We knew we had to be picky because not everyone can make something like that. My husband tried The Madagascar vanilla cake with the Idaho huckleberry filling, and he was sold even before we knew if they could meet our request. I contacted them via their website & within days I had an appointment. When I arrived they met me with a smile & had samples of the most popular cakes. As I tasted & we covered all the details and I was able to see some of the amazing work they have done. With each bite I knew no one else could make the cake we wanted. After our first meeting I only had to meet them one more time & that was to drop off our topper and they took care of everything else. My husband and I didn't get to see our beautiful wedding cake until after we said "I do!" & our jaws almost hit the floor. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Each layer something different and unique. The best wedding cake I've ever had! I can promise that any of our customized cakes going forward will be coming from here!

Greg was so great to work with to make our personalized wedding cake! He was present at our cake tastings, so could really give us a feel for cake and filling combinations. The cake ended up being very beautiful and DELICIOUS (dark chocolate cake with huckleberry filling)!! Also, very affordably priced.

Greg Marsh came recommended by our wedding planner and we couldn't be happier. We asked for a four-tier naked wedding cake with alternating flavours, designed with huckleberries and succulents for our rustic wedding. This is hands down the best cake I have ever tasted. Guests went back for seconds! Stunning.

I was blown away when I saw our cake. It was absolutely beyond what I had imagined when we planned it. Greg and his company did a phenomenal job. We wanted a 4 tier square cake, with each layer offset and colored ribbon around each layer. He out did himself, truly. We had a buttercream cake and I have never seen buttercream look so much like fondant, it was gorgeous and tasted so good. The cake and grooms cake was Belgium dark chocolate with bavarian cream (OMG!) to die for. We were also so impressed with the grooms cake which was a NJ Devils ice rink, being in the Idaho we weren't sure how well the bakery would pull off an East Coast Hockey teams logo but it was perfect. We would recommend Greg Marsh to anyone.

Greg and his team did a fantastic job with my classic, 4 tier wedding cake (with 4 different flavors). It was delivered to the venue on time, without problem. I chose Greg Marsh Cakes over other cake vendors in the area because his cakes are not as SWEET as others. Still delicious, just not as much sugar as other vendors tend to use.

Perfect! Everything about our cake was exactly what we wanted. We brought in a picture and he created exactly what we were looking for. The cake was moist and delicious- we considered not sharing with the guests, but only for a minute (; We are still getting compliments on it and the wedding was three weeks ago! I definitely recommend Marsh Cakes to anyone in the Boise area.

best cake my guests and I have never had better cake! the design process and cake tasting was fun and personal. the cake was made to our exact expectations. we had lemon poppyseed, huckleberry vanilla and the best coconut cream. he designed a "beach themed" wedding cake complete with seashells, sand and waves.

The cake was the best cake I'd ever tasted (and I've tasted a lot of cake in my life)! Designed well and had four different flavors for all guests to enjoy..and they did!

Greg did our wedding cake and it was perfect! We had a four layer cake that alternated in square and round layers. Each layer was a different flavor and all of our guests loved it! We will use Greg for all of our big events!

They were great! They made things easy even though I was planning a wedding from such a long distance away (Dayton, OH). He was on time, and the cake was gorgeous and tasty! Note: I had a small wedding (~40 people), so my cake was only $150 or so.

Wonderful man! He makes the most amazing cakes! And he loves hearing your ideas no matter if he thinks they are challenging or not and will try his best to make what you desire!

If you are getting married in the Treasure Valley, or even in McCall, Greg Marsh is the ONLY place you need to go to get your cake. Neither my husband or I had ever tasted anything so delicious and delicate. Greg came highly recommended by all of our friends and it was worth it to listen! He created a cake exactly how we wanted it and personally delivered it to McCall on time and unharmed. Oh, and we didn't have ANY leftovers! We will be ordering an anniversary cake from Greg Marsh for sure!

I went to Greg because everyone says that he is the best. The cake tasted great but I was a little underwhelmed with the decorating. I just didn't feel the "wow" moment I wanted. I suggest having lots of pictures to give him that express exactly what you want so that the end result is what you have in you head.

Gregg Marsh is a cake genius. He is very talented and makes some damn good cakes. He is reasonably priced also. We will always use him for future events.

We ordered a grooms cake, wedding cake and cupcakes from Greg Marsh, and he did not disappoint. Everything was beautifully done and VERY delicious. We had a lot of guest come up to us and tell us how much they enjoyed the cupcakes!

I have to admit that I cringed when I wrote the check for nearly $600 dollars for cake--but Greg Marsh and his staff were well worth it. The cake was delicious, and there was very little left over to take home. Everyone loved the cake. Greg Marsh is very professional and has a very business-like demeanor. He'll get the job done, and he'll do it the right way, there's no guess work on whether or not you'll really get what you ordered the day of--you will, and it'll blow your mind--and your tastebuds.

We were extremely happy with our wedding cake. We had a fairly complicated design picked out and were a bit nervous for the result, but it turned out beautiful! You can't beat their flavors and our guests were very happy campers when the cake was served. We had the Belgian Chocolate, Lemon Poppyseed, Madagascar Vanilla (w/huckleberry filling), and Coconut cream--ALL spectacular. Can't wait to dig into that top layer!

We tried many cakes and Greg Marsh has the best in town! His frosting is just to die for! He was very accommodating to us. We got "purple velvet" which was a big hit and matched our purple themed wedding. He did a fantastic job making flowers for the cake the matched the ones on my dress! They looked so much like them, when my flower girl brought one to her mom, she thought she had ripped a flower off my dress! They looked that close to my dress. We created our own cake stand and he was great about using it. We were very happy with everything! Everyone said it was the best wedding cake they have ever tasted!

My cake and cupcakes were delicious!!! The decorating didn't quite match the rest of the event... but it was close enough, and I didn't give them much to work with... The flavors though, were amazing!

From tasting to delivery, everything was perfect. Greg Marsh Designer Cakes has the most delicious cake, frosting, and fondant that I have ever tasted. I don't care for chocolate cake or frosting, but loved theirs and we had a tier of our cake in Belgian chocolate with Bavarian cream. (Vanilla and raspberry for the other two.) All of our guests raved about the cake - how lovely it looked and how delicious it was. We can't wait to order another cake for our one year anniversary!

Greg Marsh was great, his cake was exactly as I'd wanted and the girl who delivered it put flowers on it just as I asked. They were so very helpful and wonderful. Everyone loved their cake because it was so light and airy and the frosting was spectacular. I would definitely say check them out because the business is just fabulous. Oh! The website is great for out of town or busy planners! I was planning from Germany and this was the easiest part of my wedding because I could book appointments online.

I loved working with Greg Marsh Cakes. They are professional, using current cake designs, and allow for individuality. They took the design from our wedding invites and incorporated that into the cake. I also had him make a grooms cake that was amazing and got TONS of compliments. The size of the pieces were also edible, non of that miniature taste sizes. He was very realistic about portion size. I appreciated his honesty and insight.

Greg created exactly what we ordered for a great price, delivered as agreed and exquisitely beautiful and heavenly tasting!

I knew from the momnent I got engaged that I wanted a cake made by Greg Marsh- I've been following him ever since I got interested in baking at culinary school. When I met with him to go over my design, he was wonderfully helpful. He turned my drawing of the cake I wanted into a reality, and more! The cake looked amazing, and tasted even better! He let us choose a different flavor for each layer of the cake, and they were all delicious :) I was pleasantly surprised at the price too, I would have paid more for the cake I received!

My husband and I had an idea of what we wanted for our cake, Greg immediately sketched out the perfect design in our meeting. The cake was VERY tasty, moist and delicious and held up to the heat of our hot August wedding. Greg is very organized and professional and the best at what he does in the area.

And I mean that. My now husband and I cake tasted with 4 different cake vendors and we both agreed that Greg Marsh cakes were by far the best tasting. The other 3 were just cake that anyone could make, as far as taste. Greg Marsh's flavors and fillings have great names and flavors! The cake was so light and melted in your mouth. Really not like any cake I have ever tasted in my life. On top of that, we asked if he could make a Chinook salmon grooms cake with the fish's mouth open showing it's teeth...and he did...and it was the most talked about part of our wedding, besides us! Thanks Greg Marsh!

There is a reason Greg Marsh has built such a name for himself. It was a little difficult to schedule an appoinment with him, but worth the trouble. His cake is moist and delicious and he is great at putting your vision of cake design into reality. The red velvet was my favorite, but my guests were raving about the lemon poppyseed as well.

We did a three-tiered cake and mini-cupcakes. If I had to go back, I'd do more cupcakes. However, ALL of it was gone. It was delicious! He's very creative and easy to work with. And his prices are very reasonable!

I knew Greg Marsh had a great reputation for making delicious cakes, but I was really surprised by how kind and helpful he was. I had several people tell me it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. And it wasn't as expensive as I'd expected. Definitely make an appointment for a tasting!

Could not have asked for more! The best tasting cake and icing I have ever had! We were able to serve 4 flavors and the guests loved it! Great service and great attention to detail. Very easy and seamless to work with. Cannot even think of one thing that I would change. We will definitely be serving more Greg Marsh cakes at events in the future!

I have been to too many weddings where the cake looks great but tastes stale, or it looks crappy and tastes alright. I wanted it all - looks, taste and good service. So I headed over to Greg Marsh because I saw his work and was fairly impressed. Greg Marsh himself met with me and took my loose vision of what I wanted and made it a reality. A somehwat reserved man, he listened intently to what I had to say and wrote down all the specifics. The cake was delivered one hour prior to the ceremony (as scheduled) and I was shocked to see how beautiful it looked! I didn't want fondant because it usually tastes horrible, but the buttercream frosting looked like fondant! It was absolutely perfect, and exactly what I had asked for. And, I am happy to report it tasted fantastic. I don't know how he can decorate a cake in short enough time so that it is still fresh, but he pulled it off. I would absolutely recommend!

Thanks so much Greg! We LOVED our wedding cake! It was a beautiful centerpiece to our reception and was one of my favorite things of the whole day! Everyone loved the Lemon Poppyseed! The service was amazing. I loved meeting with Greg, he was very personable and he did a fantastic job on our cake!

Greg Marsh's cakes are fabulous. He did cup cakes for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding cake was amazing. Not only did the cake look beautiful, but tastes amazing.

Our cake was to die for! We went to Greg Marsh because we're kind of foodies and we'd seen him on TLC and some other cake-off shows and we'd read about him in the local papers. We thought we wouldn't be able to afford him as we were paying for everything on our own but we were wrong! He made us a 4 tier, square/round/square/round cake with hand painted scroll work. Everyone thought it was beautiful and most everyone had at least two pieces! My husband isn't much of a cake person and he ate tons of it! So very good

I tried several cakes before i chose Greg Marsh. Everyone had several peices since i ordered too much. But since i had left overs we got to eat it for a few days and i could not have been happier. It was so good. My whole family was begging for some of my left over cake.

Greg was wonderful to work with. The tasting was great and he helped us create our dream wedding cake. We just gave him a few ideas and the final product was amazing! Way better than we anticipated. The cake was moist and delicious and our guests ate it up! We had several compliments on how wonderful the cake looked and tasted. Highly recommended!

He made our wedding cake and the surprise groom's cake. They were both exactly what we asked for. He probably isn't the cheapest but he is very talented and the cakes even taste great! We were very happy!
