This includes interfaith, religious, and non-religious ceremonies as well as civil unions, commitment ceremonies, and vow renewals. We had our wedding in late October and booked Greg well in advance. We wanted a nondenominational officiant for a ceremony that would not have any religious elements. When we first spoke to Greg over the phone, we could tell he was a good match...
for us immediately. Talking with him was so easy and he made sure we had every opportunity to customize our ceremony as much as we wanted or needed. Greg was super responsive to our emails when we had questions and took the time to learn about us—through our wedding website and conversations with us—so that our ceremony was so beautifully personal and tailored to us. I couldn't believe just how much care went into the words, down to referencing the story of our dogs. He was early to the venue for both the wedding and rehearsal and took the time to make sure everyone knew what they needed to do day-of. Highly recommend!!

The only thing we didn’t love is when it came to our wedding planner who we have met with every month sometimes several times a month she knew every detail of our day and Greg sometimes would contradict her. It also seemed as if Greg was in a rush to get to another event after our wedding which caused him to hurry us along after the ceremony to sign our license so he could leave.
Greg went above and beyond at our wedding. With little information he was able to make our ceremony perfect for us. Thanks so much for the amazing professionalism.

The way he talked about us during our ceremony made him sound like a lifelong friend; in fact, many of our guests assumed he was a family friend, and were shocked that we didn’t know him personally! Greg was so laid-back about all our requests. We asked him, somewhat last-minute, to incorporate several Mexican wedding traditions into our ceremony, and he didn’t bat an eye; he rolled them into the ceremony seamlessly. He came to our rehearsal as well, which really helped calm our nerves about the big day, knowing he had the ceremony completely under control. r outdoor ceremony, so he provided us with a prayer, and the Bible reading we asked for, but delivered the service in such a way that we got compliments all night, even from more religious family members, about how beautiful the ceremony was, and how perfect it was for us. There were many mishaps- including a very short notice of rehearsal time, but he made it work, showed up, and provided a sense of calm in an otherwise very busy day. Did I mention the ceremony speaker rental service didn't show him where they left the microphone? He did not skip a beat, and I was none the wiser! His voice carried to the back as he performed our ceremony, grasping guest attention in a loving and peaceful way. I would choose Greg again, 1000 times over- this is a man who knows exactly what he is doing!

For many years, I worked in churches as a music director, youth leader, and pastor. I’ve also been a volunteer police and fire chaplain since 2006.
In 2011, I made the transition from full-time church ministry to full-time hospice chaplaincy. I naturally officiated many funerals because of that role, so to bring balance to my own personal experience, and to contribute to the experience of joy celebrated in weddings, I began offering my services as a wedding celebrant.
I now work full-time as a wedding celebrant, funeral officiant, music performer, and relationship coach.
