Gretchen has a wonderful selection of dresses and makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in her store. She made trying on wedding dresses so fun! Gretchen has a great eye for determining what will look good on the bride and finding the brides dream style of dress. In addition she has an amazing selection of accessories. She was very easy to work with throughout the entire process from buying to fittings to picking up the dress. Oh, and her shop is absolutely darling! I wish I could get married again just to buy my dress from Gretchen again!

I’m not sure I can put into words how amazing Gretchen and her boutique both are! From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, Gretchen was so sweet, accommodating and personable! The selection of gowns is incredible yet also not overwhelming. The entire boutique itself is very whimsical and inviting! Gretchen was so helpful, supportive and kind throughout the whole experience of finding my dress, and I know she truly had my best interest in mind rather than just trying to get another sale. Although I did not end up buying my wedding dress from here, I couldn’t be more thankful for the guidance I received from Gretchen during the process! If you're a bride looking for the most personal appointment and to find your perfect dress you have to visit Gretchen! I was flying in to Kentucky from NYC for vendor appointments and reached out to Gretchen the night before on a hope and a prayer that she had time to see me the next day. Gretchen not only made time in her schedule to fit me in, but she spent the most time with me of any bridal appointment I went to - I went to some of the premier salons in NYC and didn't receive near the level of service as I did with Gretchen. She listened to my vision and encouraged me to try anything and everything. Her selection of dresses is amazing and she carries phenomenal designers. I can't recommend Gretchen enough!! xoxo

Gretchen Reece is literally the best ever. I mean that with my whole heart. Gretchen was a BLAST to work with! She knew what she was talking about, has amazing taste, and listens to your style but will make great suggestions! She really took her time to make you feel important and special when picking out a dress. She clipped me extremely well and helped give me a vision of what the dress would look like when it fit me correctly (& ladies this will means the world when you are trying on sample dresses that don't fit). She is extremely dedicated and I will always suggest ALL my engaged friends to her. It was a dream!!!! You will not be at all disappointed with shopping here!

Oh, I can’t wait to tell you how amazing Gretchen’s boutique is! If you’re looking for “that place”, I promise you this is it. Everything was so effortless regarding setting up the appointment and sharing some details with her about our wedding, my taste, budget, etc. The boutique is such a romantic and sweet environment, I felt so pampered and valued from the moment I stepped into her shop. Seeing all of the names of brides written on her wall made me feel like I was becoming part of a Lexington tradition. Gretchen is the best part of the shop! Her personality is so positive, kind and warm; she was so unbelievably helpful, like one of my girlfriends that tagged along to help me choose! Even in a moment where I was being hard on myself and feeling overwhelmed by all of the options, she spoke such true and loving words to me to clear my mind and remind me how genuine and beautiful I am. I cannot tell you how much I needed that in that moment. I wasn’t a number or a checkbook. I chose a dress that day, but later switched to another (I couldn’t stop thinking about), and Gretchen was so quick to call/email and text me to let me know that she could make it happen for me. I visited again that week with a close friend, and Gretchen was even better than the first time…laughing and being so real and genuine… answering every single question I had. Jennifer from Darling Sew Shop (located in the back of the shop), was also amazing and sweet. Jennifer came right over and pinned a few areas on the dress to show me how it would fit, and I just fell in love with the dress more and more. These women are REAL. They’ll lift you up and celebrate every thought and decision you have while finding that perfect dress. I walked out that day floating on a cloud! I felt so happy that not only did I invest in a gorgeous wedding dress, but I invested in a local business run by a woman who genuinely loves being a part of a bride’s experience. I cannot wait to go back and start my fittings with Jennifer at Darling Sew Shop, and I love how convenient that will be for me. I’m so glad I found Gretchen’s boutique. From the moment we walked in the store, I knew we were in for a treat! Lovely space with beautiful dresses and accessories. Our hostess was just wonderful too. We had 2 brides in our party and they both were treated like they were the stars of the show! My daughter had been to 5 other dress shops and was totally overwhelmed - and the owner really listened and found the exact dress my daughter had been dreaming of. I heard about Gretchen Reece at a bridal show I went to last year when I wasn’t engaged. I looked at their dresses and fell in love with what they carried, and I knew I wanted to go there one day. When I finally got there for my appointment it was everything and more, Gretchen is the sweetest and most helpful person to work with. It is my wish that every bride could experience finding your dream gown like I did! I had been to three other boutiques and left feeling like I was no closer to finding a dress I liked but just maybe a few I would settle for. This is not how shopping should be. But then there was Gretchen Reece 💜!!! The amazing QUALITY selection at very affordable prices is second to none. It is very apparent that she hand picks everything that is brought into her boutique.
