Gretchen Williams, Harpist

We had an early afternoon wedding and hiring a dj or live band wasn't even an option. Blaring music midday seemed odd and way out of place. I was at a loss for music. I discovered Gretchen by accident and the more I thought about it, the more I thought a harp would be ideal, then after corresponding with Gretchen I knew that she was THE harpist and exactly what I was looking for! This was the best decision, I had no hesitation moving forward with her. Gretchen played at our wedding reception. The music was lovely and set the perfect mood, just as I had hoped it would. My groom thought it was a bit over the top and almost too grandiose. Within minutes of Gretchen playing, he was mesmerized. Shortly after that he began apologizing. By the end of the reception, he admitted that it was more than perfect! Everyone commented on how lovely the music was, so it was a huge win ! Her repertoire is vast, trust me I had an extensive playlist, yes, I was bridezilla, but she never wavered in professionalism and was always more than accommodating! Gretchen was truly a joy to work with. There were a lot of new fans created, who now love harp music!! Thank you again, Gretchen! I am sincerely grateful. Gretchen played for our wedding. She played beautifully as we walked down the aisle AND THEN she even strummed a few bars of "The Imperial March" at my husband's request! We can't say enough good things.

Gretchen played for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier! Being a musician myself, I asked for a lot of different pieces, and she delivered on every one.
