It was an absolute delight to work with Grey Cardinal for my daughters wedding. I could not be more pleased with the way everything turned out. The wedding day was beautiful and perfect. Allie and Jill were AMAZING! They helped bring my vision for an all out floral wedding in Hahn Garden on the VT Campus to life! Being an out of town bride, I was lost and overwhelmed with vendors, rentals, and all the details, but the minute I hired Grey Cardinal they came in and saved the day (literally)! From the monthly planning calls (I did partial planning services) to the weekend of coordination, they were extremely kind, calm, and on top of everything. My wedding day turned out exactly how I hoped it would and I thank Allie and Jill for all they did to make that happen! :)

I don’t even know where to begin to explain how wonderful Allie with Grey Cardinal Events has been to me this past year. She’s incredibly kind & knowledgeable in this industry - I had what I thought were the most ridiculous questions and always answered them without making me feel dumb or crazy 🤣 I handed her over my Pinterest board and I showed up to my reception and saw exactly what my inspiration photos were. Grey Cardinal Events was so helpful from the first time we met up to wedding day! They are so organized and gave great advice. Their monthly, and as we got closer, weekly check-ins, were exactly what I needed to remain on track for wedding planning. I reached out to Grey Cardinal Events simply needing help because I had no idea what I was doing. Allie went above and BEYOND my wildest dreams and expectations on how seamless it could be to plan a wedding. She was always in constant contact with my husband and I and she always provided to do lists to us to stay on track and double check over contracts to make sure our payment timeline stayed on schedule. More than the process, on the day of our wedding Allie set up our entire layout and I did not have to even lift a finger once because I knew she cared as much about our day as we did. Even with the rain and one of our groomsman needing to go to the emergency room... which she handled like a champ without my knowledge!!... I could not possibly have asked for a better person to work with, her professionalism and pricing are unmatched!

We hired Allie for our day-of coordinator and she went above and beyond with her service. She communicated with us leading all the way up to our event so we were prepared for the big day in advance. Coming from a DIY wedding family, I was ready to get to work decorating the venue before our rehearsal, but Allie made sure I relaxed and took care of it all herself. She made my venue an absolute dream with her decorating, and was so efficient! I could not recommend her enough for any level of wedding planning - she really made our day everything we wanted.

Allie was, in one simple word, incredible! She was attentive to every detail from start to finish in our process. We couldn’t have asked for a better planner to help us bring our wedding to life. To highlight just how above and beyond she is - on top of the expected coordination, I personally had a family member that needed extra care the day of and she made sure the vendors were aware with special instructions which gave my family and I peace of mind throughout the reception. We contacted Grey Cardinal Events after our previous planner cancelled on us two months before our wedding! We were incredibly stressed and had very little time left, Allie was the best planner we could have ever imagined & we are so lucky she was available! She has the most calming energy which was great during planning and especially on the wedding day! She was able to take our vision and make it come to life as well as allow us to use her rentals for any finishing touches! We can’t say enough great things about her work; she is dedicated & so talented!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Allie at Grey Cardinal Events is, but I will try my best to summarize it in a (long) review). I hired Allie for full service wedding planning, and she truly went above and beyond in every step of the process. From providing organized questionnaires, vendor comparison charts, timelines, layouts, etc., to transparent, kind, and helpful communication, to supporting myself and my (now!) husband through the more emotional aspects of planning a wedding, to making decisions based on her expertise and knowledge of my preferences when I wanted to give her full range on items. While wedding planning in itself is a beast of a task, Allie handled the large majority of that beast and ensured I knew what the next steps where, and who is responsible for each task. Several times throughout wedding planning, there were items (mostly legal) that I had no idea were even necessary, and she explained what, why, and how to do these legal items, always helping me where she can. Allie knew what to prioritize when things didn't go as planned (there will always be outside factors you can't control when planning) and I truly felt that she had my/my weddings best interest in her heart when navigating tough situations. Overall, the process in planning with Allie was seamless, accurate, on-time, personal yet professional, and to my surprise, actually fun. Then we get to the actual wedding weekend, and every single aspect made my jaw drop, and while there were a lot of people involved, Allie was the true star of the show in executing it. All of my vendors (there were several) knew exactly when and where to be thanks to Allie's preparations, and she handled any vendor related questions or tasks as they came up during the wedding weekend. The design of the space FLOORED me, it was everything and more. I walked up to the venue and just had to stand there for 10 minutes (would have been more if I could) to appreciate the beauty of what Allie had pulled together for me and my husband; I had SEVERAL guests come up and say "this wedding is perfect, it is so you." From arriving at my welcome party to leaving my wedding, Allie made me feel like a true princess, always asking how I was doing, letting me know what happens next, bringing me drinks and food, and really just providing anything and everything I (or my husband) could need. I didn't even have to think about what was happening, I just got to soak up my day, and I will always be appreciative of Allie for giving me the true opportunity to do that with ease and comfort. I came into the wedding planning experience as someone who wanted to elope, to avoid the planning and the people, and I left feeling that this was the best weekend of my life and wishing the wedding weekend could have been a week long. I also walked away wishing I could continue working with Allie, because I grew much closer to her than I could have expected and I miss her already. Thank you Allie from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the weekend that I didn't even know I dreamed of.

Allie at Grey Cardinal Events was the best planner we could have asked for! She was so detail oriented and organized, keeping us on track throughout the entire process. Allie would ask us questions on items we hadn't even considered and immediately provide innovative solutions that we couldn't have come up with ourselves. She was so kind and caring to us and all of our guests. She ensured our wedding day ran smoothly and on time, executing our dream wedding. We couldn't imagine planning our wedding without her. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who wants a caring, organized, creative, and supportive planner!

Allie provided partial planning services for us and I cannot even put into words how incredible our experience was with Grey Cardinal Events. Sincerely, my only regret was that I didn't hire Allie as soon as I kicked off wedding planning. If you are anything like us, we started the process very hesitant about making the investment and confident that we could handle the wedding planning process ourselves (all while working two full-time jobs in the middle of COVID-19 *face palm*)... fast forward to three months before the wedding when my fiancé and I were overwhelmed and knew we needed professional help to get us across the finish line. Allie swooped in and provided the much needed guidance and calmness that we needed to finish out our final planning details and coordination with all our vendors. Our favorite things: 1) Allie is responsive, thorough, and organized. We had weekly check-in's leading up to our wedding where she laid out our to-do lists - this made our lives so easy and focused 2) Allie is candid and will provide honest feedback on potential vendors to book and decor / pricing / etc. She won't try to up-sell you on unnecessary items and will keep your budget as a top priority 3) Her decor planning and set-up exceeded our expectations. Not only was she able to elicit our vision from conversation and Pinterest boards, Allie also has access to a lot of beautiful wedding decor rentals. she also crafted a balloon arch for our photo backdrop! 4) Allie and her team were quick thinkers and handled issues as discreetly as possible, keeping us as stress free as possible on our wedding day I am not exaggerating when I say that my wedding day would not have been the same without Grey Cardinal Events. Multiple of my other vendors even complimented her organization and detail to me in separate conversations. Run, don't walk, to book Allie for your special day!

Highly, highly recommend Allie! We had to reschedule our wedding twice because of the pandemic, and Allie was so helpful in keeping everything organized and stress-free. She also looked over vendor contracts and knew all the right questions to ask. As a day-of coordinator, she was invaluable!
