Grey Giraffe captured our wedding perfectly. Our photos looked straight out of a fairytale and we will treasure them forever. My hubby is picky when it comes to photography and when he saw Alan's photos, he had to have him at our wedding as our photographer. Grey Giraffe Collective was AMAZING to work with for my wedding reception. Communication was great over email and phone calls. Payment and photo delivery were easy and efficient. Alan made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable. I told Alan what I wanted for our portraits and he made it happen. Alan and his team did an amazing job. We had high expectations for our photos and everything was up to par. Photos definitely delivered. Cali is absolutely amazing!! She is such a lovely person and talented photographer and it was wonderful to work with her. She did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and all the photos turned out so beautifully! We just got our wedding photos back and are having the best time reliving our day. We are typically not the most photogenic people and have no idea how to take a good picture but Cali completely knew what to do and took the most beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. Alan was also great to talk to in our initial consultation and connected us with Cali. Our experience with Grey Giraffe was great throughout the entire process - highly recommend!

I haven't gotten our photos back or our video, but Alan and his team deserve a 5 star review for sure. They were punctual, thorough, gave great direction and made me feel comfortable being photographed, which is something I was really nervous and uncomfortable about. They really helped us stick to the schedule which meant that we started the ceremony exactly on the dot and they were so fun to work with throughout the entire day. I highly recommend working with them!

Grey Giraffe did an amazing job for our wedding! We used them for our engagement photos, and Alan did a great job with getting beautiful photos despite me not being very photogenic. Cali was the photographer for our wedding, and she was SO nice! She was very good at suggesting poses and did a great job at helping the kids/toddlers focus for photos. Absolutely amazing!! Whitney shot our post-covid wedding celebration and captured us in a way that we hadn’t seen before. The pictures had us reliving the happy day. We didn’t have a traditional wedding but Whitney understood the vibe we were going for and took truly stunning pictures. She also made the experience relaxed and fun. Truly cannot say enough great things about our experience with Grey Giraffe! We planned our wedding long distance, and Alan and Whitney made sure they connected with us multiple times to get to know our personalities, listened to our photo/aesthetic preferences, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera for engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both our engagement photos and wedding were outside in the very cold and snowy weather, and they were just absolute rockstars about the elements, which I am so appreciative because the scenery is just stunning. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Alan and Whitney were exactly as they presented themselves -- professional, fun, and some of the most talented photographers I've ever met. Throughout the process, they were accommodating and communicative and delivered photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Even when things at the wedding were less than ideal (not super venue owner) they managed the situation well and made sure that our photos were the priority. Their care and skill are on display in our photos and I could not recommend them more fully.

Grey Giraffe has become family to me. They have shot our engagements, formals, wedding, extended family photos, and newborn photos. If they lived closer we would utilize them more if they were available! Both Alan and Whitney are talented. When you go to a shoot with them, they make it fun and playful. I never felt awkward while they took photos when I normally would otherwise. All of their pictures are so precious to me! I love the organic style which I think produces more meaningful pictures. All of the pictures they have taken for my family are the greatest keepsakes I own. This company isn’t just talented but the people behind the company are amazing. They are good people who are accepting of others. I couldn’t recommend a better photographer than these two.

Whitney shot our engagement photos and let me just tell you they were freaking STUNNING! She is so amazingly talented and honestly just a good person! She has great energy and gave great direction and made the shoot so easy! We took photos on Antelope Island and neither of us expected the mosquitos to be as active as they were and Whitney braved thru it all, taking photos and shooting thru mosquitos attacking her face! It was a bonding experience and we laughed so much that day! I mean nobody had control over mother nature but we made it through and would go back and do it all over with the images we received! We were thrilled to see how gorgeous our photos turned out! I mean WOW!! its art!!! we can't wait to hang these up in our home!

We absolutely LOVED Grey Giraffe. We did engagements, bridals, and the wedding with them and every set of photos is absolutely beautiful. They really pay attention to the small details. They even hiked up on the hillside at Snowbird to get wide angle shots of our reception on the deck of the Snowbird Cliff Lodge. They are great at coaching through poses and coming up with ideas for interesting and artistic photos. Cannot say enough good things.

Alan was so wonderful to work with. He let us live in the moment and directed us just enough to keep it low key but also get a beautiful shot. Would 100% recommend them for your wedding or event. A bonus is he also makes the background so insanely beautiful and knows the best places to shoot.

We had couples and family photos taken by Grey Giraffe. They were super responsive, reasonably priced and flexible. We had to be flexible on the shooting schedule, due to work and they worked with us. They were very fun to shoot with, and we felt like we could be ourselves and they captured our personalities on camera. We absolutely LOVED working with Alan and Whitney on our wedding day and they were one of the greatest parts of the day. After multiple cancelled wedding receptions and an elopement, we decided to have a birthday dinner/ wedding reception for just our family, during a vacation in Park City. We reached out to Grey Giraffe to photograph the dinner and take some formal portraits. We are so glad we did! We just received our photographs and they are gorgeous. Geoff and I get to work with Grey for two weddings due to COVID. We postponed and we’re lucky enough to get them for our minimony in SLC. Alan was PHENOMENAL! Our wedding was August at Solitude and Alan was nothing short of amazing the entire weekend. We planned our wedding from afar and he was very professional and organized leading up to the big weekend. I am so happy that I had Grey Giraffe do my First Look and Wedding pictures. They turned out beautifully and they were such a joy to work with. The only thing for improvement I would add is a paid extra for two photographers at my wedding so that there could be photos taken with the groom and the bride before the wedding and I was a little disappointed with the photographer taking photos with me before the wedding. I feel like she missed some important photos of me getting ready with my bridesmaids and my mom. But it was a crazy day so I understand missing some. Overall I couldn't recommend them more and was so glad I chose them to shoot my special day!

Alan and Cali were amazing to work with and captured our wedding day perfectly! Their shooting style is laid back and authentic and they were able to capture our personalities so well. My husband and I don't particularly like having our pictures taken, but we felt completely comfortable with them - even though we only met Alan the day of the wedding. Absolutely loved my experience with Grey Giraffe! I am so glad I did my research and was choosy with my photographer, because now I have beautiful photos I can look back on for a lifetime.
