Grey Havens Inn

Would highly recommend Grey Havens. We got married June 2022 at Grey Havens. Ali was fantastic to work with, extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Beautiful location and venue. Food was delicious and great drinks as well. Thank you Grey Havens for a wonderful wedding weekend!

I cant recommend Grey Havens Inn enough! Ali and Carlos and their team are all amazing! Ali was so communicative through the whole process. The food, drink, rooms were all perfect. The weekend was amazing! Grey Havens Inn is a wedding venue hidden gem. I cherish our memories from our weekend and our pictures came out so amazing because the view of the bay at the inn is absolutely spectacular! You will not regret choosing Grey Havens Inn and their great team :).

We had the most magical wedding at Grey Havens in August 2021. The innkeeper and her family were the most incredible hosts, wedding planners, and more! They made our entire weekend better than we ever could have hoped. The inn is located right on the water, in the most beautiful setting. It is right by Reid State Park, where we took pre-wedding photos, and is easily accessible from Portland. The communication with the inn, how responsive and accommodating they were, how delicious the food was, and the care they took to make the weekend perfect were all more than we could have hoped. This is the perfect setting for your closest friends and family to stay for the weekend, to get ready, and for a beautiful ceremony and reception! The perfect way to end the night is also marveling at the bioluminescence and swimming in the ocean. We cannot recommend this venue more!

My husband and I had the most phenomenal experience having our wedding at Grey Havens Inn in Georgetown, Maine on September 28, 2019. Not only was Grey Havens Inn completely open and flexible to our ideas, they also let us transform areas of the property to create visual experiences for our press and media coverage. We worked very closely with the Inn owners on each and every step of the planning which took about one year. Every decision was handled with enthusiasm, care and the utmost attention to detail. Most importantly, we build 100% trust with the owners at Grey Havens Inn which is crucial with planning this degree of an affair and the business relationship formed. We are truly thankful for everything that Grey Havens Inn provided!

My daughter was married at Grey Havens on September 15, 2018 and it was an incredibly beautiful event. Eve, the owner and Innkeeper, took care of every detail starting with my emails almost a year in advance. She was always so responsive, reassuring and accommodating. We had the rehearsal dinner on Friday in the beautiful dining room for 25 family members and then invited 80 guests for a Welcome Reception with drinks and appetizers. People spilled out onto the wide porch and lawn and took in the amazing view of the water. On Saturday, Eve was our wedding coordinator and took care of everything which enabled us to enjoy the wedding to the fullest. Her chef prepared a fabulous assortment of appetizers which were passed around on the lawn, and a delicious buffet was served under the tent which was designed specifically for her lawn area. The wait staff did an impeccable job. I felt like they were my family helping to make this a memorable evening. I love that Grey Havens feels very intimate and exudes a relaxed coastal vibe, but yet very elegant with an iconic Maine view of the water. The historic inn is a place my daughter and her new husband can return to for years to come. Plus, they wanted their 14 member wedding party to be able to spend the weekend together because they were all traveling from out of state. Grey Havens was the perfect size to accommodate them all, and what a special destination it was. It made it worth the effort they all made to come that long distance. It was breathtaking. Couldn't imagine having the wedding anywhere else.

Genuinely, the Grey Havens Inn created a perfect experience for our wedding. Eve was essentially our wedding planner - she made us feel some comfortable and settled knowing that she had every single detail planned out in her mind. The views are incredible, the rooms are classic and beautiful, Eve and Dick are perfect hosts, and everyone at the Inn was 100% focused on giving us the best possible weekend. I can give a few examples of how accommodating Grey Havens is for the bride and groom - the night before the wedding we had the entire Inn to ourselves to celebrate and enjoy the summer air; the day of the wedding Eve found the most sunlit spot for makeup and hair; after the wedding the head chef took some leftovers to make us late night snacks - everything at the Grey Havens Inn is driven by the vision of the married couple having the best possible experience. We could not have imagined anything better!!
