We found Kelsey on The Knot and after looking at her Instagram were immediately interested in booking her for our wedding. Finding a photographer felt like such a massively important and daunting task, but Kelsey stood out for several reasons. Her website is filled with helpful information about her and her offerings, and she does an amazing job helping potential clients get a feeling for her style. In looking through her galleries, we were impressed not only with the beauty of her photos, but with how she captured the intimate moments and details between a couple. You could see each couples uniqueness in every shot! Kelsey was very easy going and super communicative throughout the entire process, and she was extremely adaptable when we had to postpone our original wedding in 2020 due to Covid. She replied to all emails promptly and made herself available whenever things came up. During our initial chat she really wanted to get to know Chris and I, which allowed me to build a great rapport with her. One of the best parts was actually getting to meet her for our engagement shoot. Her and her step stool are so cute and unforgettable! Our wedding day was perfection. Kelsey and her second shooter (her husband Tyler) were there for us every step of the way. They alternated between going off on their own separate ways to capture details, and directing us and our wedding party to get the greatest shots ever. We took a lot of our photos prior to the ceremony and focused on family and fun after the ceremony. Kelsey and Tyler both moved seamlessly throughout the grounds all day to find the perfect spots to take photos, always taking the natural light into consideration. Although the day was extremely busy and filled with photo ops, somehow it didn’t feel like we were constantly posing for photos or even feel like we were being pulled away that often. Our gallery of 500+ photos definitely tells a different, amazing story! Our wedding gallery is filled with one stunning photo after another, and to be honest it has been SO difficult to pick our favorites. We received a sneak peak only days after the celebration, and Kelsey set expectations on the timing of the full gallery as well. Her editing is fantastic and she captured so much beautiful light throughout the day! There was such variety in poses, landscape, buildings, etc. Looking through them never fails to bring me to (happy!) tears. We can’t say enough great things about Kelsey and Tyler and would recommend them to anyone looking to capture ANY important milestones in life. Not only will you have the most amazing, easy going time with them – but your images will be the highest quality and something to cherish for years to come.

Working with Kelsey was absolutely amazing. She was so easy to work with and there was no shortage of laughs and smiles as she captured the most beautiful moments of our big day. I kept remarking to my husband that it didn't feel like we were working with strangers at all but as if we were taking photos with our closest friends. I could not recommend her more highly. They were with us every step of the way, instructing us on sweet poses but also capturing those precious candid moments. We had a truly amazing experience with Kelsey as our photographer for our backyard wedding. We made a lot of COVID changes to our original plan (125 —> 15 guests) and Kelsey was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the process. Right away you can tell the difference between awkward family photos and comfortable snippets of a beautiful moment. Having our wedding pictures shot with Kelsey felt so comfortable! There were no awkward poses, we laughed, Kelsey was not only professional but a friend, even though I’ve never personally met her before. We feel that’s what a good photographer should be like! I would definitely recommend Kelsey to any of my friends with weddings coming up. She flew out to NY, we had a bunch of laughs, danced, cried and took some amazing pictures.

My husband and I had a great experience with Kelsey! We live out of state, so everything was coordinated via email prior to our wedding, which can make anyone nervous; however, Kelsey had all our details covered and had even thought of things we hadn't. Kelsey and her husband were also always a step ahead of us when it came to taking pictures the day of our wedding, which was amazing. It came to a point where I could just enjoy myself and not worry about coordinating our HUGE wedding party, because they had everything covered. I love Kelsey's style. My husband and I were so honored to be able to collaborate on a photoshoot adventure with her to check out a new spot for future clients. We had such a fun time!!! I told my husband we need to do that every year for our anniversary. I only hope she'll have availability for us, since shell be in high-demand! I really love how she explains well how to look to make some more nature pictures and also posed pictures- since we aren't processional models and getting your picture taken can make you feel awkward this is so so important. I joke that she had to teach my husband how to nuzzle! She has such an eye for those breath-taking shots and really makes the whole experience fun, and loves to travel/is willing to travel for her clients. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Kelsey took our five year anniversary photos and we had a blast! She was super easy to work with and regularly communicated even when we had to reschedule due to unpredictable Wisconsin weather. My husband is super finicky about photos and she made it as painless as possible for him. I highly recommend and would 10/10 use in the future!

We knew Kelsey was the photographer for us when we took our engagement photos in 20 degree December weather, and she didn't complain! The shots she got were beautiful (considering we were shivering and turning purple!) She stays in constant communication throughout the wedding planning process, and I love that she posts her sneak peeks all over Instagram & Facebook! The day of the wedding Kelsey & her husband Tyler were so wonderful to work with! They were so much fun, didn't get annoyed with our rowdy crew, were great at keeping us on track and on schedule, and captured some of my favorite memories that I didn't even know happened! Our experience with Kelsey was amazing! She provided a complementary engagement session to get to know her which made the day of the wedding easy and comfortable. She asked questions about the style of photos we were looking for and then planned out exactly where we should go close to our venue. She was super accommodating when we made a pit stop at our fav bar and added an extra hour to our because our reception timeline was running behind. On top of that, the pictures are beautiful, natural, and candid just like we were hoping!

Kelsey and her husband were beyond what we ever expected. They caught true raw emotional moments from our wedding day, moments we now have photographed and can look back on. We felt super comfortable on our special day because of them, they were a blast to work with. The price is absolutely unheard of. You will not find a better deal with a couple so talented. We also got our engagement and wedding pictures back much more quickly than expected. When we received our USB it was it the cutest box and arrangement ever-give them a shot and see for yourself. :)

We absolutely loved working with Kelsey, and our pictures are gorgeous! I had read many reviews of what a joy it was to work with Kelsey, and the reviews are so true! Her communication was always very prompt, and we really appreciated that. She has so many great ideas for pictures, and we had fun taking pictures with her. (One of our favorites is in a floral nook in the arboretum - so pretty!) Her husband is her second shooter, and it was great to have them both there capturing different angles. We received a lot of candid photos, and some of those pictures are our favorites. When looking for a photographer, I looked at so many pictures and liked Kelsey's style best. We LOVE our wedding and engagement photos, and are so glad we found Grey Spoon Photography. Kelsey was by far our favorite vendor we worked with for our wedding, and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

Kelsey and Tyler are amazing! They captured everything we wanted on our wedding day and more. I had told Kelsey that candid shots were my favorite and boy did she deliver. They captured so many little moments on camera that you just can't plan and that's what makes their photography so special. Working with Kelsey was the best decision I made for my wedding day and engagement shoot! Kelsey puts you at ease and makes your photoshoot fun! when I started to look for a photographer, I wanted someone different than what I had seen everyone else use, so I started searching the Knot, I could not be more pleased with Kelsey. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing, and continued to work around schedules as we needed to reschedule them after mother nature did not cooperate multiple times. The day of the wedding, she was amazing. I have not received all of my pictures back yet, but every single sneak peak that has been posted is just as amazing the one prior.

Choosing Kelsey Addy of Grey Spoon Photography to capture my wedding was one of the smartest decisions I made during wedding planning. She did both my engagement photos and wedding photos, and I could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out! To begin with, Kelsey is one of the sweetest, friendliest, and most down to earth people you will meet. When we first met for our engagement shoot I was nervous because I had no idea how to pose or position myself, and I was going to be spending the next hour or two with a complete stranger. Kelsey's friendly and professional demeanor immediately put me at ease, and I felt very comfortable with the directions she was giving. She was so friendly and it meant so much to me that she took the time to really get to know my fiance and I during our shoot. At that time I knew we picked a great photographer. I didn't have a whole lot of help planning my wedding, and I really appreciated Kelsey's guidance throughout the whole process. She even sent my husband and I something through the mail to congratulate us on our engagement, which was a very thoughtful touch. She was very professional, organized, and quickly responded to any questions I asked. I found her website and online planning questionnaires very easy to use. Additionally, I felt her prices were very reasonable compared to what else is out there. We did look at some cheaper photographers who did fine work, but I felt they did not capture the warmth and details like what I saw in Kelsey's portfolio. I feel that her prices are a good bargain for the quality of photos she delivers. I could go on and on about how happy I am with Grey Spoon Photography, but I think you should check out the website for yourself (especially the sunset pictures--to die for!). I could not be happier with how well our engagement and wedding photos turned out. If I settle down in this area I plan to use Kelsey for photo shoots in the future. Kelsey wrapped up photographing our wedding festivities this weekend. She was wonderful to work with and extremely flexible with our non-traditional set up; married in December, reception in August. We loved loved loved our pictures from December and I cannot stop looking at our sneak peaks from this weekend!

When I couldn't be there to physically look for locations to shoot pictures, she researched everything for me in advance. Kelsey is PHENOMENAL! I had a certain style in mind that I wanted for our photos and she did it perfectly. She gave us an adorable idea of a "campfire" theme for our engagement session, which turned out stunning! It captured both our personalities, it was unique, and of course we got to eat s'mores. When it came time for our wedding in January, she worked so well with us despite the cold. Kelsey and her Hubby were extremely helpful and attentive the entire day making sure every picture we had in mind was taken. In end it was stress free and when our photos arrived it was in a beautiful package. I couldn't have asked for a better option and would recommend Kelsey to anyone else needing a photographer!
