It took many emails before I got a response from the event coordinator Lisa Stephens. I had been emailing her for a month and we set up an appointment time. i came from far away in terrible weather to meet Lisa at a date an time she selected and then she stood me up. I waited for over half an hour and asked several people if they knew where she was or could contact her, as she didn't give me a direct line of communication. i was then told she was at an event for the school. she didn't remember our meeting and didn't think to reschedule. Big waste of time. the venue is ridiculously expensive and the event space is small

Grey Towers Castle is a fairy tale dream venue come to life in PA. As wedding videographers, my husband and I have seen our fair share of venues around the tri-state area. However, we have never seen a more beautiful space then Grey Towers Castle! Lisa Stephens, the event coordinator,will become your favorite part of wedding planning. She is the biggest sweetheart, and truly cares about making your day special. We had the unique experience of getting married twice at Grey Towers Castle. Due to COVID, our original wedding day planned for inside the castle was postponed to 2021. Lisa allowed us to get married in front of the castle with a small group on family, in August 2020. She set up chairs and made an aisle outside. I was able to get dressed in the Mirror room, allowing for photos I would not have had in my original wedding plans. In August 2021, we were able to have our big wedding celebration inside the castle! It was stunning! We still had a small guest count of 65 due to COVID, but it filled the space beautifully. We had the ceremony in the Rose room, cocktail hr in the Dining Room, dinner in the Mirror Room and dancing in the Grand Hall. We utilized the school’s catering company, Metz Catering, and the food was amazing! We received so many compliments from guests on the food! The only downside of the venue is that any overall decisions are made by the University, as the Castle holds dorms and offices, as well as the first floor event space. So plans were changing daily with both of our wedding days, as the University navigated new COVID rules and regulations. Lisa was very helpful in coordinating each new group of rules and championing us finally having our originally planed wedding day. Additionally the castle does run a little hot in the summer months.
