It's a pretty place but there was alot of manure in the grass where you park and no cleared area to walk to avoid it. There was no heat provided. Luckily the bride and groom provided heaters. Most bothersome was that there was NO soap in the bathrooms and there was a note to not flush your used toilet paper but rather to throw it away. For the price of this venue I would have expected less manure and definitely soap in the restrooms.
My husband and I got married at Greystone Farm and we could not have wished for a better place to spend our day. Shelia was amazing, she was supportive and so helpful throughout the day. Every one of our guests raved about how beautiful the entire space was. Our photographer said it was a dream to photograph. The tables in the barn are so PERFECT for the look!! I honestly can't say enough good about this venue. We had the very best wedding day, we do not have a single complaint about any part of it!
The lady with the review above mine obviously went to the wrong rustic barn... Greystone Farms in Bell Buckle Tn, is the most beautiful, RUSTIC farm with the sweetest owner.
Prices are very reasonable and the owner will bend over backwards to help a couple make it their best day ever ..... Thank you for giving us a day to cherish our whole lives. we will be back every year to celebrate our anniversary.
I recently attended a wedding at the Wedding Venue Greystone Farm at 735 Happy Valley Rd, Bell Buckle, TN 37020. I was appalled to discover that they only had an outhouse (just one for both male and female use) and no way to sanitize your hands once you used the bathroom in that nasty excuse for a restroom. The owner was rude and when my husband asked if there was a better less "rustic" place to use the bathroom, she rudely suggested he go behind the barn to use the bathroom.
In addition to this, the room the bride was to dress in had spider webs, spiders, wasp nests and wasps all over and in that room. The lighting was poor and the mirrors were awful...it was cool that morning and there was not enough electricity to run a heater.
The poor groom had to get dressed in a corner of the old, old diary barn that the reception was to be held in.
The water was turned off to the sink in the reception area and the owner had to be asked to turn it on so the caterer could use it in preparation for the dinner. Again, unsanitary conditions.
This wedding venue was the single worse place that I have ever had the misfortune to attend a wedding. I felt so sorry for the bride and groom that had to pay good money for such awful conditions.
I'm alerting you to this so that you will not even consider this so called "rustic" venue for your wedding.
