Greystone Hall

We had our reception at Greystone last month and had the absolute best time! We love the atmosphere of Greystone and its surrounding landscape and vibe. Our guests felt the same way and loved how intimate yet spread out the venue is. I really appreciate the approved vendors list they provided as we got to work with some really amazing people that made our day amazing. They were also super flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID!

I am SO thankful for Greystone Hall and Elizabeth! In July, I was frantically looking for an outdoor venue that could host our wedding reception as our original venue could no longer accommodate us due to COVID restrictions. Elizabeth helped us through a very high stress situation with ease and is the reason we were able to celebrate our wedding reception with close friends and family. I am forever grateful - thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Greystone Hall is incredibly beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. It is the perfect venue to bring your wedding dreams to life. All of our guests are still raving about how our wedding was one of the most beautiful they've ever been to and how incredible Greystone Hall is!

I will never truly be able to put into words how incredible Greystone is. Elizabeth is an amazing coordinator and has truly become a friend to myself and my family. I planned my wedding in exactly two months due to an upcoming overseas deployment and I am so grateful I had Elizabeth with us every step of the way. When you are at Greystone you are transported to another time and another place. It is so unique and surreal. The day was perfect. Without hesitation, I recommend this venue.

From the beginning, Elizabeth treated us with such warmth and friendliness that you would've thought we'd known her for years. She really bent over backwards to make our day perfect, and it was above and beyond what we expected. We fell in love with Greystone Hall the first time we visited it; the character and history of the place charmed us, and the uniqueness of the venue won us over. I couldn't imagine my wedding anywhere else. THANK YOU, Elizabeth, for making our wedding dreams a reality! I highly recommend this venue!!

My daughter wanted to have an outdoor wedding, and Elizabeth made it happen, even though it was sprinkling. She had helpers wiping down chairs and handing out umbrellas and moved the musicians undercover. She was very organized and helpful all through the event lead up. In the end, I have this wonderful picture in my mind of looking out from the patio as I was being "introduced" by the dj and walking into the patio for dinner and seeing down the lawns across the pool and onto the lighted white pergola with deer on the lawn. Sublime.

I grew up down the street from Greystone Hall and always wanted to see the property. When I got engaged my mom and I attended the open house. Mostly we were curious about the property as we had always driven by but never went in. I didn’t expect to book our wedding day right then. Greystone is a breathtaking property. Elizabeth has done a great job of maintaining the estate and house, every detail is perfect. On the day of the wedding, the forecast called for rain all day but it was slowly being pushed back. Greystone has the ability to have both the inside and the outside set up for the ceremony, so the call to have the ceremony inside could be held off to be shortly before the ceremony, instead of early in the day. This was perfect as the rain was holding off and we were able to have the ceremony and all pictures outside! The rules at Greystone can come off as a little strict, but it is all in the best interest of the property. We ended up finding vendors we absolutely loved and wouldn’t have found otherwise by using their list of approved vendors. Overall, we had an excellent experience at Greystone and would highly recommend to anyone!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Greystone Hall on 9/23/2017. From the minute we took our first look around Greystone, Elizabeth and her team were incredible. The setting is so beautifully unique and magical and they only hold one event a day so your guests get to experience most of the mansion and grounds in an intimate setting (the second floor is closed to guests, but trust me there's more than enough room on the first floor). Elizabeth was so attentive and quick to answer all of our questions throughout our engagement. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she even sent us a couple helpful tip emails in preparation for our big day. Greystone does provide you with a list of vendors that they prefer you go with, but we loved this because it made the decision making process so much easier. They only provide the best of the best on their vendor lists so we knew we were making the right choices no matter what. We wanted a unique setting for our wedding, not the usual ball room or barn and that is what we got with Greystone. The walk through we did with Elizabeth and our caterer about a month before the wedding totally put us at ease because they went through every little detail. Our guests absolutely LOVED the venue and we received so much praise about how classic, elegant and unique it was. The views are GORGEOUS - a true testament to the beauty of chester county, the mansion is beautiful and huge and has so many intricate details & history, that you just don't get anywhere else. Although Greystone is a little pricier than some other venues, it is worth every penny!

This weekend marked one year since my husband Brian and I got married and had our reception at greystone! I felt the need to post again a year later because reminiscing on this day still blows our minds. 5 stars isn't even enough. Elizabeth and her team were INCREDIBLE. Our wedding day was everything I envisioned and more. Every little detail or accent I wanted added was taken care of flawlessly. I wish I could go back and re-live this day exactly as it was! We got married at Greystone Hall on May 12, 2017. The day was absolutely perfect. Throughout the planning, Elizabeth was so attentive and quick to answer my questions. It almost rained on the beautiful outside ceremony but just as planned Elizabeth held out even when the sky looked like it was going to open up. Elizabeth pushed forward with the outside ceremony we dreamed of and the weather held out too!. Every guest was amazed by the beauty of the day and the property. The grounds were beautiful, cocktail hour looked perfect, and the reception was everything I dreamed of. Elizabeth helped to organize everything and helped me with the planning along the way to make our wedding so beautiful. We ended up having our cocktail hour inside the house because of the weather but the guests were able to walk throughout the house and mingle in different rooms. It gave our wedding such a unique feel and the venue and the food were the best things about our wedding! Even though I was worried about an outdoor reception, the temperature was perfect and there was more than enough space for everyone to eat and dance! I would choose Greystone 100 times over again. Thank you Elizabeth and all the Greystone Hall staff for making our wedding day perfect.

We held our wedding and reception at Greystone in early July. I can't imagine a lovelier wedding. Elizabeth helped organize everyone and made things run smoothly and worked with my mom who was our minister to help her do both duties, a staff member entertained children, and the mansion and grounds - there are simply no words. I joked that we all could have turned up in overalls and it still would have been the most beautiful wedding. My guests have not stopped complimenting the wedding (understandable as they love us) but the follow up comment is always how outstanding the location was.

This venue is amazing. The gardens are gorgeous and you just can't beat your ceremony backdrop as a 19th century stone mansion. The bridal suite provided for the bride and maids was GREAT and really nice to go in for touchups as needed. The ceremony outdoors was perfect and dramatic. The tented pavilion was perfect for the reception. The nice thing about your venue here is it goes along way and includes the wedding day coordination with Elizabeth. Be warned - she is tough - not tough in a mean way but she makes sure that everything runs on schedule so those that aren't complying will be told so, that said its crucial to have someone with these capacities when organizing a group of 12 bridesmaids and groomsmen, and our entire families. The venue is EXPENSIVE but you're paying for the whole experience.

We looked all over the Philadelphia are for historic estate wedding venues and when we walked into Greystone we were done looking! It has the perfect set up for an outdoor wedding (which I HAD to have) with dedicated spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The backup plan in the case of rain was very important to us. At Greystone they move you into the great hall, which is beautiful, and still preserve the reception space as a surprise for your guests. Many of the other venues we saw had their rain location IN the reception space, which we didn't prefer. Everything at Greystone is beautiful, even the bathrooms! We were even able to bring in family photos to place on the 2 pianos in the house. There are beautiful fireplaces and a side garden for the bridal party to use after the ceremony. The view from the tent pavillion is stunning and there are endless places to take photos! In truth, it's not cheap and it's not the most flexible place in terms of vendors, but the staff knows exactly what they're doing and will take remarkable care of you on your big day and the days leading up to it. I was a panic because there was a huge storm on my wedding. We were really lucky with the timing, but it ended up pouring all night. Elizabeth kept me calm and my guests had an amazing time! Despite the storm, my wedding was beautiful and my guests kept asking me how I found this amazing place. I said "The knot!" It was everything that I wanted. Online photos don't do it justice, you must see it in person.

This was the first and only venue we visited. We had never been to a wedding or event here and immediately fell in love with the venue. The building, landscape and scenery were absolutely breathtaking! They worked with us every step of the way and we trusted all of their recommendations, which all proved to be right on point. Everyone kept commenting on how beautiful and great of a venue it is and how much they loved it. We highly recommend checking out Greystone for a truly memorable wedding experience!

Greystone Hall is such a beautiful place, inside and out that we could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. All of our guests were totally impressed with hall and our wedding reception was beyond all expectations. Truly a wonderful place!!!

Greystone Hall is the perfect setting for an unforgettable event. Since the bride and groom contract out all of the services, catering, flowers, cake, musicians, linens, chairs, etc the event is very customizable. I held my wedding there this Spring. The mansion and grounds make for beautiful photograph backdrops, as well as, providing several intimate gathering spaces for guests to mingle. The large tent on the back terrace comfortably fit our guest list of 220. Having the cocktail area on the lawn by the conservatory made for a nice change of scenery from the rest of the reception's activities. Overall, great wedding venue. My favorite of all that I have been to, even though I'm a little partial since I had my wedding here :)
