a great band. We spent a good month deciding on which band to use and one always stuck out which was of course Griffin and the Gargoyles. We hired them and I can honestly say that I have never seen so much excitement on the dance floor than I did at my wedding. They by far exceeded our expectations and although it has been 8 months since our wedding, people still bring them up to me. Thank you Griffin!!

ive and we weren't disappointed one bit. After booking them, we made it to a local bar they performed and couldn't wait for our wedding to hear them again. We were rocking all night long at our wedding. Our dance floor was packed the entire time they performed. My husband rarely dances and he was dancing more than I could have dreamed. We got so many compliments after the wedding about the band and we owe it to Griffin and the Gargoyles. They are a delight to work with, including the office staff (Gretchen and Bradley) who coordinate the band's schedule. Definitely go with a band and pick them. We will definitely try to catch more of their gigs in the future. They are truly a blast.

e one year in advance - Gretchen and Contemporary Productions were great. Father of the groom complimented the group during cocktails, especially liked the jazz keyboard work. Volume appropriate for dinner, our table often paused conversation to listen to the vocals. Then dancing began – great energy, broad mix of covers and range – they definitely read the group and dancers, more recent numbers as the evening went on and then younger dancers dominated the floor; vocals fully reminiscent of original artists, but adding their own uniqueness (pretty remarkable) that kept me listening - . Dancers, wedding party were up til the end, applauding the close. Griffin noted the group learned 2 new numbers at the request of my wife. If you can, book them! We continue to look for Griffin and the Gargoyles for their occasional sets, open air concerts around town.

The music was high energy and Griffin kept the dance floor full all night. They were so accommodating the I asked for them to learn a special song to dance with my dad. oyles are the absolute best band-do not think about choosing anyone else. We had guests from age 6 to 80 and everyone in between and the music choices pleased everybody! Our 'must have' list of songs were played and the band members are genuinely nice people. The production company you go through to book is also very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend! We could have partied all night-the dance floor was never empty!

e pretty expensive, it used to be less, but since they are so popular, the price has increased. But they were so amazing that it's worth it to splurge on this. Contemporary Productions was the company I worked with to book them. Bradley was really nice and helpful. It was frustrating that we payed quite a lot for booking the band, that if they did not know a song, it would cost a lot of money for them to learn it. So we did not have a lot of choices for the Bride and Groom, father daughter, and mother son dances. When they did play though, they sounded amazing and really get the crowd involved.

Our guests of all ages were out on the dance floor until the end of the evening and are still talking about how much they enjoyed them. Griffin coordinated with us prior to the reception to find out which songs we loved and which to avoid. Our first dance song they played was AMAZING! (Sister Hazel - This Kind of Love). The dance floor was always full and their song versatility (country, rap, 80's rock, etc.) is second to none. We would 100% recommend them to any bride/groom planning their wedding.
