Griffin is incredible! He was so easy to work with, from the initial call and booking, to the communication and timelines prior to the day, to the day itself. We ended up having to completely change our wedding because of a hurricane but he was adaptable, reassuring, professional, and kind. He was great with my rambunctious group and wrangled the entire group of wedding guests into one photo in a small space. He worked quickly without being pushy, got amazing shots, and had a preview in our inbox within 24 hours after the ceremony/reception. I can't wait to hire him for other future events and recommend him to anyone I know who is looking.

Griffin is phenomenal! The photographer was my biggest and most important priority of our wedding, and I am so thankful and happy that I found and booked him! I was fortunate enough to have 3 sessions with him: our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits, and of course our wedding. He was a joy to be around each time. He created a super detailed wedding day timeline and ensured that it was executed perfectly. We were even ahead of schedule before the ceremony! All of our photos are gorgeous, and I know we will enjoy them for the rest of our lives! Griffin and Cole were INCREDIBLE! My friends and family have not stopped raving about just how great they were since our wedding. Not only did our pictures turn out beautifully, but Griffin and Cole were very helpful in keeping us on schedule throughout our wedding day. They were able to capture all of the most important moments of the day and were a blast to hang out with. As soon as we got engaged, I told my fiancé that wedding photos were one of my top priorities. I wanted to make sure that we had beautiful photos of the day that we could print and hang up for years to come. Because of that, Griffin was one of the very first vendors we signed with. From our first conversation he was extremely helpful and thorough. He takes stunning documentary-style photography and it blew me away how natural and elegant so much of his photography is. After that initial conversation I knew that we wanted to go with Griffin. We ended up signing way back in March 2020, and even after having to postpone, he worked with us to change the date. When we finally were able to get married on December 28, 2021, we knew we made the right decision in going with Griffin for our photography. Leading up to the wedding, Griffin was so helpful in giving us a timeline, especially important because of the limited daylight in the winter. He also gave us a packet to fill out ahead of the wedding with information including recommendations for what to do on the day of the wedding, and information about what kinds of photos we wanted and with whom. On the day of, he was there early and quickly made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. On the wedding day, several family members commented that they really liked the photographer! He was wonderful to work with and I’m so happy with how all of the photos turned out. Now the problem is just choosing which ones I want to hang up!

Griffin and team were soooo amazing!! He was one of the only companies that offered unlimited photography which in my opinion, is super important. Griffin made sure to get all of the shots we wanted and we were actually ahead of schedule! He also sent me the sneak peak preview pictures before the reception even ended- unreal!!! Would definitely recommend.

Griffin and his team were the absolute best photographers we could’ve ever dreamed of for our wedding, hands down! Griffin was calm, approachable, assertive yet made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. He was able to handle our 9 crazy groomsmen with ease and get everyone’s best sides on camera! Everyone was able to be their selves which makes all of his pictures more special! The day was beautiful and he captured everything to perfection. Cole and Annalee were amazing! They were amazing to work with. Cole made sure all the shots we wanted were taken care of and so much more! Annalee made sure we felt comfortable and even helped with last minute dress issues. The whole wedding party felt so comfortable being around them. The pictures turned out amazing I wouldn’t change a thing! I can’t say enough amazing things about these two!

Cole and Griffin were both so amazing to work with for our wedding! Covid-19 definitely did not make things easier and with some changes in our wedding Cole and Griffin were super flexible and extremely accommodating the entire way. They are reliable, super friendly, provide swift feedback and communication and most importantly they capture beautiful photos! Not to be forgotten, but it rained all day on our wedding day and Cole was more then prepared to deal with this challenge, and still managed to get amazing shots across the board. He was willing to stay after the wedding to capture some additional photos which spoke volumes even more to us. Griffin was so easy to work with and they provide you with your beautiful photos in such a timely manner. From the first time we met Griffin in-person during engagement photos, he made us feel so comfortable and like we were hanging out with a friend! He is talented, helpful, flexible and laid back but able to direct. We were happy with our choice prior to covid-19, but his ability to work with us throughout all of our changes made us even more confident that we could not have made a better wedding photographer choice.

Griffin was incredible! He was calm, patient, helpful and took ownership of the experience to ensure we got all the best pictures. The photos turned out wonderful and at times, he almost did more coordination than our day of coordinator :P We are so glad we chose Griffin to capture our day! Loved how everything turned out :)

Griffin and his team were amazing! I cannot recommend them enough. My husband and I were lucky enough to have him take both our engagement and wedding photos. Both albums were returned in a very timely manner, and both albums have so many photos .. I was shocked because I wasn't expecting so many images! The editing on the images is perfect... nice and light and natural, without looking over edited. On our wedding day, Griffin ensured everything ran so smoothly, without being intrusive. The team got along great with our wedding party. One of my bridesmaids commented that they were by far the best photographers she has ever seen work a wedding. From our first phone conversation, we loved Griffin's energy and enthusiasm about wedding photography. He has a background in both fine arts and photography, which really and truly elevates his work (as we saw through all of our pictures). We chose to do both our engagement photos and wedding day with Griffin and are beyond thankful and grateful for him and his team! He was super flexible with the engagement session as we traveled from out of town (we live in DC and were getting married in NC). The shots were absolutely amazing and we literally loved every single image. Fast forward to our wedding day- Griffin was there the WHOLE day! This was one of our main reasons we chose him when we were looking at wedding photographers. He gets weddings- he understands how important all the moments are for the bride (and groom!) and captures them perfectly! From the getting ready photos to the ceremony and reception- we still get goosebumps going through our albums! We also loved the sneak peek he sent (about 15 photos approximately) the day after our wedding- perfect way to continue the wedding celebration! He truly captured all the emotions of our wedding day, and we are so thankful that we have his amazing works of art (photos) to continue to relive our wedding through! He truly is one of a kind when it comes to wedding photographers!

From my very first phone call to the wedding day, Griffin was extremely professional and personable. He explained wedding photography packages, helped with day-of timelines and navigated photography with blended families with ease. I was extremely comfortable letting him direct us through the formal sessions. The informal photos are incredible, yet I never felt that I was always being followed with a camera. He and his team (Annalee) blended in well and gave us all the photos we asked for and more. I would absolutely recommend to any couple!

Wow... I can't say enough about our experience with Griffin. Photography for our wedding was the first thing I booked besides the venue. I knew I wanted our photos to be top notch. I read so many great reviews about Griffin, but the first phone conversation is what sold me. You feel like you've known him forever after the first conversation. You feel completely comfortable telling him exactly what you want, but he also offers great suggestions too. I love the style of photography he does... nothing felt posed. We just laughed and had fun the whole day. My bridesmaids and I literally jumped up and down on the bed in our robes for some of our photos-It was a blast! If you choose Griffin to be your photographer, then having high quality photos of your special day is a guarantee!

Griffin and his team were all wonderful to work with. They worked very hard to make sure we got all the photos we wanted all the while making us feel comfortable and maintaining a very low stress atmosphere. He's an absolutely wonderful photographer.

Griffin is an absolute gem- a genuinely nice, caring person who puts his heart and soul into his work. He was extremely responsive via email, and such a sweetheart when we spoke with him over the phone to get to know him, as we are planning from a distance. Clicking with a photographer is so important because you spend more time on your day with this person than any other, and Griffin puts in the extra mile to make sure that connection is strong.

I used Griffin for my vow renewal ceremony in December. I knew from our first meeting he would be the best person to capture our day, he was very attentive and was able to pick up right away on what my husband and I were looking for. Not only does his work speak for itself(we were truly more then impressed with our final pictures) but he goes out of his way to make you feel so special, he was attentive and caring, he made us feel calm that day and looked out for us in every way. All our family members were truly impressed by him also. Our day was so special and I know Griffin played a huge part in that, we are thankful for the beautiful pictures we will get to look back on to remember. Griffin was such a pleasure to work with and we are in love with all of our wedding photos. In addition to his amazing eye, he was accessible and easy to work with through the entire process. On the day of our wedding which was a warm September day, he was quick to get “the shot” in the heat of the day. Griffin joined us to photograph our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner which made for some amazing photos to the start of our wedding weekend. As an engineer, I went back and forth several times on photographers, but so happy that I went with Griffin to photograph our wedding. He was absolutely great. We love that he stayed from the beginning all the way to the very end...just about 12hours. He was very professional, funny, and talented. We know that he got some great shots and can't wait to see them. He also went out of his way to ensure that the bride and groom took all the unique, fun pictures to ensure they had all the memories captured.

Griffin is hands-down amazing. From my first inquiry, he was professional, genuine, friendly, responsive, organized, & down-to-earth. He listened to exactly what we wanted from our engagement session to our wedding. Griffin was great to work with and produced beautiful wedding pictures. He has a great sense of when to take charge and when to follow the lead of others. He was not overbearing like many wedding photographers are in trying to direct the bridal party (we've all been in a wedding in which the photographer is controlling and wants to run the show). Having never met him until my wedding day, he made everyone feel at ease and made the photo-taking fun. The pictures are fantastic and were delivered in a timely manner. I seriously can't even begin to explain how talented Griffin is. He did our engagement photos and they were absolutely incredible. From beginning to end, Griffin was fabulous to work with. Photography was the first thing I started researching when I began wedding planning about a year and a half before our wedding. After researching for weeks and speaking to numerous photographers, once I spoke to Griffin, I knew he was the right person for us! I ended up hiring Griffin before we even decided on a venue. Our engagement shoot was so much fun and the photos came out absolutely stunning. Everyone raved about them. Leading up the wedding, Griffin did a great job of communicating with me and making sure that our timeline was on track and set to go. We saw Griffin the night before the wedding as he was taking photos at our rehearsal dinner which was fantastic, they came out beautifully and we are so glad he was there to document those special moments! The morning of the wedding, my groom and his brother were playing golf, and Griffin came out a little bit early to capture some photos of them sharing some one on one time, such a great touch! When he and Emma made it to the venue, I was definitely feeling stressed and he was able to ease that so much! He kept us on track and really took charge of the timeline to be sure we were where we were supposed to be and when. He was so easy and fun to work with and our photos came out absolutely amazing!! Griffin did an amazing job with our engagement pictures and our wedding day pictures. He really listened to what we wanted and what was important to us and approached it with his own unique artistic style. He is very responsive and always great to communicate with and did a wonderful job the day of keeping everything on track timing wise and making sure we were taken care of. He was also flexible on finding a package that fit our budget and preferences and even experimented with some videography in our engagement shoot! We absolutely loved working with Griffin! I have known him for several years, and was thrilled to hear that he was launching of his own business and that it was going to coincide perfectly with the timing of our wedding. He worked incredibly hard to give us exactly what we wanted/needed for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day photography. He planned our engagement shoot on a beautiful late summer day at Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia. Although it wasn't exactly close to Greensboro, he knew that it would be worth the trek and it would be the perfect setting to shoot us in--he was right and we got to see the most beautiful sunset there that evening! As our wedding day approached, Griffin helped me plan my time line, and took a lot of time to make sure that he was going to be able to capture so many special moments throughout the day. As anyone can imagine, I was full of stress and nervous energy the day of--when I got back from the salon, Griffin was there at our venue getting set up. He looked at me and said "don't worry--I've got this now." From that point on, I knew I could relax and enjoy being in the moment. Griffin was going to tell me and everyone else where to go and what to do, and the pressure was totally off! That meant so much, and he truly did what he said he was going to do. After seeing the engagement photos, we knew that our wedding photos were going to be beautiful, but we didn't fully expect the end result. They were beyond gorgeous! I love his style--very natural, soft/diffused lighting, not over edited, not too staged or posed etc. Just real moments on an incredibly special day in our lives. He made us feel totally comfortable in front of a camera, which is not something that is usually easy for us. It was truly a challenge to select the images for our wedding album because there was so many great options to choose from--what a great problem to have! I truly cannot say enough good things about him as an individual and also about his work. He is an incredibly talented photographer, and a really fun guy to hang out with! There are not enough nice things I could say about Griffin. I have known him since middle school so when I got engaged I knew that he HAD to be be our photographer. He is kind, easy to work with, incredibly talented and genuinely was just as excited as we were for the big weekend. We had people travel from all over the world and the pictures he took are priceless. Throughout the whole weekend he made us feel comfortable and was extremely professional! He truly captured the essence of our day down to every detail. He even got 150 people together for a group picture....easily!! He worked seamlessly with the other vendors throughout the day which was such a blessing. When we got our wedding pictures back, he blew us away. They are absolutely perfect. He even came on Friday to the Rehearsal dinner to make sure there weren't moments he didn't capture. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better person to capture our weekend. Griffin is an amazing photographer and we are so happy he photographed one of our most memorable and amazing moments of our life. He was so easy to work with and was able to work around our very full day of events. He took on not only the rehearsal dinner on Friday night but did the whole day on Saturday from getting ready in the morning, a noon ceremony and a dance party at 8pm. He was able to capture all the special moments as well as produce beautiful photos. The greatest part about working with Griffin was that we truly felt like he was part of our wedding and not on the sidelines which made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed when he was taking our photos. Wow, I cannot say enough great things about Griffin. He delivered and exceeded on my expectations from start to finish. Where do I begin? Let's start at the beginning. I am the bride, by the way. My first conversation with Griffin felt like I was talking to an old friend. I immediately liked him and felt his warmth and positive spirit. He asked me questions to get a sense for my style and wishes then gave me a clear overview of what to expect for the day. I could tell I was in good hands - and he did not disappoint. When I met him in person, he was unbelievably friendly, and fit right into the wedding crew. Although he was technically taking photos, aka "working", it felt like he was part of the party and he contributed to the excitement and fun. He spent some time at the salon with me and my bridesmaids and we just had an absolute ball. He was great at taking candid shots while not being intrusive. He continued the list of shots, i.e. groomsmen getting ready, bridesmaids with dresses, bride putting on dress, etc like a true pro. Again, seamlessly fitting into the group and contributing to the overall positive mood of the day. He was instructive and clear without being pushy. I know i speak for me and all my bridesmaids when I say we completely trusted his instructions and knew he had a vision for getting the best shots. He additionally worked very well with the videographer and was able to completely handle that relationship so the videographer was informed about timeline, etc (less work for me :)). He was also very much cared about my (the brides) desires and wishes, checking in with me throughout the event to make sure I was happy! He had such command on the event and allowed me, the bride, to do what I wanted, which was just relax and enjoy the day! What a gem!!! All in all, after just two short days together, I feel like Griffin is a friend and everyone in my wedding party feels the same way. If you want a wedding photographer who 1. knows what he is doing and produces incredible photos and you can trust 100% 2. Is incredibly fun and positive 3. will fit right in with all your loved ones and wedding party, Griffin Hart Davis is your guy!!!
