Gronde Photography

We love Gronde! Chris and Brandy are wonderful. They are honestly the most thoughtful and caring people, and captured beautiful moments from our wedding. They did both our engagement pictures and our wedding day and we love all of the photos. They are easy to get along with, worked well with us throughout the process, meeting with us a few times to talk over everything, as well as emailing back and forth with us to make sure the schedule was set and that we were all on the same page. We enjoyed working with them so much we've signed up for their client for life package so that we can continue to work with them each year. They are priced very well for what you get, better than anything else we looked at in the area. Both my husband and I are still raving about are photos from the wedding and are in awe of how they have come out (almost 3 months later). We are so happy we went with Gronde and wholeheartedly recommend them!

Chris and Brandy photographed my wedding and while I think that they did a good job, I will say that I am not over the moon when I look at my wedding pictures. I planned my wedding from several states away and got to meet with Chris and Brandy once before the wedding but they did send out questionnaires and really made the process easy leading up to the wedding. I think my favorite thing about Gronde Photography is that you get two photographers instead of just one photographer and an assistant. Both took pictures the whole night which worked out great for things like getting ready when Chris went with the guys and Brandy stayed with me and the ladies to get pictures. I really wish I could say I was more thrilled with the end result. (At this point I should say that I wanted a true sunset wedding but pushed the time of the ceremony earlier in order to get photos during cocktail hour while the sun was still out.) While I have some good group shots of the whole bridal party, I have no portraits of just my husband and I that aren't shot in the dark, after the sun went down, which is really disappointing. Out of the ones that are of my husband and I in the dark, there is only one that I like and neither of us are looking at the camera. It left me wanting pictures from that day that don't exist. I 100% do think that my experience was not the norm with them.They do great work and take gorgeous pictures. I would still recommend them to others.

Trying to find a photographer who wasn't exorbitantly expensive in DC was quite a task and when we found Gronde Photography, it seemed too good to be true! We were so thrilled to have a husband/wife team for such a reasonable price. We weren't able to do an engagement shoot because we don't live in DC so I was a bit nervous leading up to the wedding. However, as soon as we met Chris and Brandy the day of, those nerves disappeared. Brandy did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable all day and they were great at corralling our wedding party to get our pictures done quickly and efficiently! They were very responsive to us all day and we had a great time with them. We were even more excited when we received our pictures - they beautifully captured so many details and events of the wedding day and we'll cherish their pictures for the years to come! We were super pleased with Chris and Brandy and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Chris and Brandy, the husband & wife team of Gronde Photography was my daughter's photographer for her wedding June 7, 2014. They spent the last year getting to know the bride and groom, nurturing them, encouraging them, learning about their personality and they felt like family the day of the wedding. They are a loving, creative and talented couple who managed to capture the entire event with a flair of ease, thoughtfulness and added fun. I have seen raw footage from the back of their camera for one shot that they took at night using sparklers in the background. It was a fairytale come to life image! Look their work up and hire them early. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
