If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was hands down the worst & most stressful vendor experience of my entire wedding.
At the 1st appointment, everything seemed fine. He was confident, said we were “all set,” and I left thinking this was one less thing to worry about. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
He told my husband he’d give him his tux “for free as a favor,” even though his own website says the groom’s suit is free after a certain number of purchases. Don’t act like you’re doing us a personal favor when it’s literally your promo. We had 9 groomsmen and 4 fathers, and he offered to host 2 fitting parties — but never followed through. Then he blamed me, saying my invite only listed 2 names. That invite was made before he offered the extra party & he said he would change it to a party.
He also charged a 5% “credit card fee” that was never mentioned anywhere, plus $95 upfront for tailoring before anyone even tried on their suits. When my stepdad went in, his suit was the wrong size, and instead of fixing it, the guy stopped mid-appointment to help another customer. No apology, no accountability.
When I went with the first groomsman, he asked basic questions about the outfit like we hadn’t already gone over everything weeks earlier. Then he tried to pressure that groomsman into paying him for tailoring. Prices changed mid-process — suits were supposed to be $350 all-in, but suddenly ties were “extra” for $20 each for ties.
Communication was awful. I had to call multiple times just to find out if suits were ready. When I finally reached him, he said, “When are they coming in for tailoring?” He never called to say they were ready
My family members went to appointments where he wasn’t even there. My father-in-law drove there & found the store closed. My dad drove 2 hours & had to wait for him to show up. Completely unprofessional.
A week before the wedding, my brother-in-law’s suit came in BLUE for an all-black wedding. I called over 10 times during business hours — no answer. The next day, he swapped it for black, but it was too tight. Luckily my husband stepped in and demanded a bigger size which he finally gave him. Several groomsmen said the same thing but he refused to change the sizing.
2 days before the wedding, he said my husband’s tux would be ready by 2 PM. At 4 PM, still no call. I called him, and he casually said, “Oh yeah, it’s in.” No call, no update. So now we’re stuck in rush hour 2 days before the wedding because he couldn’t call us.
He also suddenly said we had to buy “buttons” for the tuxes — something never mentioned before. Then came more surprise charges: $150 for my husband’s tux style and $95 for tailoring after telling us the tux was free. We brought him over a dozen customers, and he still nickel-and-dimed us days before the wedding.
The tailoring prices were insane — my wedding tailoring alone was $1,500, my mom’s simple hem $300.
He’s extremely pushy, and unless you constantly follow up, things fall through the cracks. And those glowing reviews? He offers free socks for them — that’s the only reason his ratings are high.
We went to him based on a family friend’s recommendation, and I completely regret it. Between the hidden fees, bad communication, missed appointments, and constant excuses, this was the single most frustrating part of my wedding.
This entire experience was unprofessional, exhausting, and infuriating from start to finish. Save your money, your time, and your sanity.
