I cannot express enough how absolutely thrilled my husband and I were with the phenomenal performance of Groove Authority at our wedding. From the moment we started communicating with Paul Fudin, we knew we were in great hands. His responsiveness, friendliness, and enthusiasm set the tone for an incredible experience. Paul took the time to truly understand our vision and worked tirelessly with Groove Authority to bring it to life. During the ceremony and cocktail hour, the duo playing the keyboard, flute, and sax provided the most beautiful and perfect music imaginable. They learned the instrumental versions of our chosen songs, including the processional, bridal march, and recessional, and their performance added a magical touch to the entire affair. When it was time for the reception, Groove Authority's full 8-person band truly shined. They not only created an incredible atmosphere but also played a crucial role in ensuring the entire timeline ran seamlessly. Their expertise and professionalism were second to none. The first dance was an unforgettable moment. Groove Authority learned "How Long Will I Love You" by Ellie Goulding for us, and their rendition was simply breathtaking. One standout moment was when one of the vocalists ventured onto the dance floor, passing around the microphone while the guitarist played guitar behind his head – it was a true showstopper that had everyone cheering and dancing along with pure joy. The power of Groove Authority's performance was evident when the venue, known for its strict closing time, made a special exception to let the reception run a few minutes longer due to the overwhelming love for the band. Groove Authority was phenomenal for my wedding! They had very clear communication and organization leading up to the big day - specified which songs I definitely wanted to hear and ones that I did not. During the reception, they engaged with the audience with interactive playing and kept the dance floor full all night long! Every guest the next day said something along the liens of "we had a great time, the band was AWESOME!" I highly recommend Paul and Groove Authority for your next event!

Groove Authority is by far the best wedding band we have seen. We had seen them at a few other weddings before ours, so right after we got engaged, we booked them before we even booked our venue, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and folks were even dancing before dinner came out. Thanks to them, the ceremony ran seamlessly, the speeches were perfect, the parent dances were amazing, and the party was phenomenal. Paul was lovely to work with from start to finish; he paid close attention to every detail. 10/10, highly recommend Groove Authoruty

Paul and his band are absolutely amazing! We attended a couple of weddings they played at and knew we wanted them for our wedding which occurred a couple of weeks ago! He was easy to work with and took our requests of songs to play and crushed it! The band even learns new songs if you have one or two in mind. Paul also arranged live music at our cocktail hour and that was appreciated by many guests! We were allowed to get on stage with the singers and the band engaged with the crowd which is definitely key! Everyone waved about the wedding and the band is one vendor that can make or break the special day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We cannot say enough good things about Groove Authority - they absolutely rocked out at our wedding and we had such an incredible time celebrating with them. Our guests were also raving about the band - it simply would not have been the same wedding without them. We also wanted to mention how organized and on top of things Paul was from the start. He is incredibly organized and responsive, and went out of his way to answer all of our questions and concerns. We had some pretty specific requests about song timing etc., and Groove Authority pulled it off without a hitch. If you are considering a wedding band, Groove Authority is a no-brainer. Even if you are not sure they'll fit into your budget, it's worth having a phone call with Paul and he'll try to work with you. You can tell that Paul (and the rest of the band) genuinely love performing at weddings, and it shows! Their vibe is unmatched, and the experience was unforgettable.

We reached out to Groove Authority after seeing the YouTube videos they had posted of them performing live at various weddings. So many other bands have only "produced" promo videos, and we wanted to make sure our band would have our guests on the dance floor as much as possible...and they delivered! From the first time we spoke on the phone with Paul until the last song they played at our wedding, the members of Groove Authority were professionals and made our day exactly what we wanted it to be. We even rented our uplighting from them, as well. They are reliable and a great value. Our suggestion would be to splurge and pay the very little bit extra to have the third singer. All three singers and the band put on an incredible show!! Worth it!! Everyone at the wedding and in the days after have been telling us how great our band was, and they are 100% correct! Can not recommend Groove Authority enough!!

If you're wondering if you should hire this band for your wedding, the answer is YES! Having live music at our wedding was very important to us and Groove Authority absolutely knocked it out of the park at our event last weekend. They exceeded all expectations, playing music from various genres and interacting with the crowd throughout the night. When they announced the night was coming to an end, we paid to extend! Paul was so kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the planning process. This was the highlight of our wedding and we could not have asked for better. Thank you, Groove Authority!!

After being to many weddings, I knew a band was very important to me come out wedding day. I did a LOT of research and finally came to Groove Authority. What really sold me is that this is a band that plays together consistently - its not just a random business where whoever is available - comes and plays. We hired them without ever seeing them live - just based on their youtube videos - and let me tell you it was the BEST decision of our wedding. The dance floor was never empty, they got the crowd excited and hyped. There is not one single person we have talked to who hasn't mentioned how great they were. our wedding was a very young wedding too ( some bands lean more old-school so I thought this was important to mention). On top of them truly being the best part of our wedding day: working with Paul, the one who executes the contract and gets everything set up, was truly incredible. All vendors should take a lesson from him. He's responsive, helpful, accommodating, and all the above. I was concerned about my budget and Paul reassured me we could make it work. Please don't even hesitate to book this band if you are lucky enough to have them available on your date. it will be the best decision you make ( aside from your partner i guess :) )

We are so happy we chose Paul and Groove Authority for our wedding band. From the very beginning Paul was communicative and organized. When it came time for the wedding, he worked with us to ensure we had set break lists that didn't overlap with what the band would play. The band is extremely engaging and dynamic, bringing phenomenal energy that will keep your party going. They did a great job reading the crowd and playing songs that reached different generations. We had so many guests come up to us personally to compliment the music throughout the night, which reenforced the fact that we made the right decision bringing them on board! One of the best parts of the night was when the groom joined the band for a song, it was so much fun and an honor to get on stage with these musicians. Thank you!

Absolutely INCREDIBLY talented band. The band was the one thing my husband and I really cared about for our wedding, so we put in a lot of time researching bands in the Boston area. We even ended up doing our own "Battle of the Bands" with all the demo tapes of Boston area bands, and Groove Authority was the clear winner from the start. They were unbelievably good at the wedding, and the dancefloor was packed the entire time. People are still reaching out to me to say how it’s the best wedding band they’ve ever heard, and it certainly is the best I’ve ever witnessed as well. They played such a perfect mix of today’s hits and wedding classics and our requested songs, and they can play and sing all different genres seamlessly. If you’re going to invest in one thing to make your wedding unforgettable and extremely fun, Groove Authority is it! I am still so blown away by how amazing they were. Highly, highly recommend booking this band. No notes. GA was also incredibly great to work with throughout the entire planning process. Even when I changed my mind a few times, it was never an issue. They were so kind and flexible it made the process better. I cannot thank GA enough.

We could not be happier with our decision to have Groove Authority play at our wedding! They made our wedding so much fun. From the time we started communicating with Paul, we knew we were in good hands. He was incredibly responsive and listened to exactly what we wanted. My husband and I were so impressed with groove authority. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. We have been told by all of our guests that GA is the best band they have ever heard. They were so interactive, upbeat and talented! Guests are still talking about the band a month later. From start to finish, Paul was a total rockstar, keeping everything organized, accommodating all of our requests, and communicating with us every step of the way. We hired the Party Factor (a band with the Groove Authority) for our August 2024 wedding at the Wilburton Inn in Manchester Center, Vermont. Rick and Paul were lovely to work with, responsive, and patient. The band was incredible, both during our cocktail hour and the reception. We have since received numerous compliments from our guests that the band was one of the best - if not the best - wedding band they have seen. The lead singers' voices are incredible and their song selection was perfect, not only for the diversity of our guests, but also our personal music taste. We highly recommend the Party Factor!

Hiring Groove Authority was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Paul was incredibly easy to communicate with and he was very accommodating of our needs. The band themselves were incredible, super fun, high energy, and kept the dance floor moving all night. From the ceremony and cocktail hour to the first dances and the dancing later on, they were great at everything. We also had a photobooth from them which guests loved. They were engaging and went into the crowd. We heard rave reviews from every guest! Cannot recommend them enough, anyone getting married should stop looking around and just hire Groove Authority, you won't regret it.

Groove Authority drove from Boston to northern Vermont to provide entertainment for our wedding reception and ceremonial music for our wedding held on 20-July-2024. We had an absolutely amazing time: Groove Authority is an incredible band. We loved everything they performed, and they did it with precision and artistry. Best wedding reception band ever! Paul communicated with us many times in preparation - he was always clear, prompt, and very easy to plan the festivities with. He helped us make good decisions and was flexible when we wanted to do something out of the ordinary. My wife and I are both very particular and planned so many things in detail. Paul and Groove Authority executed every detail perfectly. We downloaded their song list and highlighted all the songs we wanted them to be sure to play. And they did. Every musician in the band is extremely skilled. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We wanted to find an extraordinary band for our celebration, and we did: Groove Authority! I cannot capture in a post how phenomenal Groove Authority is. We booked our wedding date around their schedule to make sure that they would be our wedding band. They kept everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. They engaged with the crowd, sounded amazing and were the most fun and kindest people you'll ever meet. We are already trying to figure out a way to hear them play again. Every guest raved about the band and many asked for details and contact info to book them for future weddings. We loved how Groove Authority is a band that always plays together so their chemistry is unmatched. We paid extra for a third singer and an extra horn and could not have been happier. We also paid for an extra half hour which was 100% worth it. We did not want the night to end. I cannot say enough good things about Groove Authority. If you are between a band or a DJ, a band is the way to go and Groove Authority is the only band I would hire for the job! If you want to have the best wedding ever and for your guests to say it was the best wedding they have ever been to, hire Groove Authority!!!!

From the very beginning Paul was extremely communicative in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. He made every step of the process seamless and easy. We certainly appreciated that part alone and had high hopes for our big day, but we were truly blown away by Paul and Groove Authority. They absolutely elevated the day and exceeded any expectations we had. Bias aside...this was the best band I have ever seen at a wedding. They had everyone out of their seats, interacted with our guests, and made us feel like this was their biggest gig of the year. I just got married last weekend and I couldn't wait to join the long list of glowing reviews for Groove Authority. I knew from my very first phone call with Paul that I was without a doubt going to hire them. Paul was personable, friendly and his obvious love for the band really shows. He was patient with all my requests and changes leading up to the wedding. We hired them to play piano at ceremony, jazz music at cocktail hour and then a 7 person band for the reception. They had everyone from my 90 year old grandma to my 10 year old niece on the dance floor. They interacted with our wedding guests which was a great display of how much they love what they do. They weren't just there to play some music; they were there to put on a show! The lead singer busted out some dance moves that impressed everyone and we even saw one of them play guitar behind their back!! It was very apparent that this band plays together all the time. Their harmonious flow is not one that can be achieved by just putting a bunch of musicians in a room together, this level of compatibility takes years to perfect. I recommend Groove Authority to absolutely any couple looking for a band that will leave both you and your guests begging for one last song. I will never get tired of hearing our guests raving about Groove Authority's performance!

Book them for your wedding! They are an amazing band. From the start, Paul was a complete professional, and was able to guide us through the whole process with ease. He knows the in's and out's of planning, knew the right questions to ask, and put together a heck of a performance. The songs they learned for us were played perfectly, the MC'ing and audio were excellent. The music quality was fantastic. It's clear the band has been playing together for a while, and really know how to have fun doing it. They also know how to read a room, and played the right songs at the right time to help keep people dancing all night long. I can't recommend them enough!

Hire Groove Authority if you want the party of the lifetime! I was first introduced to the band at a friends wedding and I knew when it came time to plan my wedding that I needed to hire them. Communication with Paul was seamless throughout the wedding planning process. We had several phone meetings to discuss the reception prior to our big day. Paul listened attentively to our vision while also making suggestions based on his years of experience. When we presented the idea of my husband playing a song with the band, Paul was excited and very encouraging. On the day of the wedding my husband opened the dance floor with a song that got everyone on their feet. The band’s performance was outstanding! All of the band members are very talented and they were able to deliver a diverse range of songs with great energy and enthusiasm. The energy continued throughout the evening and the dance floor was packed all night. Everyone from age 18 to 80 were on the dance floor. The final song of the night is a memory I will never forget because the lead guitarist come out onto the dancefloor for the guitar solo. Music was a priority for my husband and I because it sets the tone for the reception and Groove Authority brought the energy! Thank you so much for making our reception memorable!

Groove Authority played at my daughter’s wedding reception in April 2024. We opted for an 8-piece band. Our guests ranged in age from 30 to 75, and everyone was up dancing all night long. I was going to sit down and have my wedding cake when a song was played that I didn’t like. That time never came and needless to say, I never got to taste the wedding cake.

Our priority for our wedding was that it was fun, and we felt that a good band is always the most fun. We chose Groove Authority based on what we could find online; we never saw them in person first. But within the first five minutes of dancing, multiple guests came up to us to say how great the band was. We were blown away by how energetic, engaging, and overall fun GA was. Groove Authority was a true talent! I hired them for my November 2023 wedding at the Oceanview of Nahant. Music was my hot button. Groove Authority knows what they are doing - professional and easy to work with! Paul was so flexible with uprights, ceremony music, playlist - it was a breeze to work with him! My entire guest list RAVED about this band and we have some music LOVERS in my group! The best part was Groove Authority had me come up and play my bass guitar with them! Literally the best moment of the night and EVERYONE was raving like we were at a live concert! Groove Authority played at our wedding at Wequassett Resort this past November and we cannot recommend them enough!! The band manager (and guitarist) Paul was amazing to work with from the start. He was very helpful at answering all our questions and planning with us to make sure everything on the day went smoothly. Groove Authority played music for our ceremony and at our reception. We had so many of our guests come up to us that night & in the weeks after to say how amazing the band was! Paul and the band also did an incredible job with our formal dance songs. They were able to shorten them just the way we wanted and they played them perfectly. They even did a special bonus formal dance song so I could share a dance with my grandfather, which was such a memorable moment. Groove Authority truly brought the energy for our reception and made it such a party. The dance floor was so crowded because no one wanted to leave and miss a song. They did a great job at engaging the crowd and playing songs that kept guests of all ages out dancing. Two months after our wedding, people are still commenting on our amazing our band was. Hiring Groove Authority as our wedding band was the best decision we made! We had been to a wedding a few years ago where they played, and when we got engaged the first band we thought of was GA. We wanted a band who could play songs that we loved but also songs that our parents/grandparents loved - and they were a perfect fit. Paul was immediately responsive and extremely helpful. He was happy to walk us through the process and patient with all of our questions. Once we got closer to the wedding, we spoke a few times and walked through our timeline and order of everything any time that things changed, which made me feel so comfortable that Paul was on top of it all. My dad is a musician and wanted to play with the band - they were so accommodating. The song went so well that the band asked my dad to play Sweet Caroline later on in the night with them, which everyone also loved. They interacted with the crowd, came into the middle of the dance floor and everyone had the most amazing time with them. We did not leave the dance floor all night - and neither did our guests! Our dance floor was completely packed and we wouldn't have had it any other way. I couldn't imagine our wedding without Groove Authority - if you're thinking about working with them, don't hesitate!!

When planning our wedding my husband and I went to my best friends wedding in Boston in 2022 and Groove Authority was the band they had. We danced ALL night! We loved them so much that we booked them for our own wedding which at Sugarbush in Vermont, and they were amazing again! Our family and friends could not stop saying how much they loved the band. We even had friends who joined them on the mic. We also had members of the band play music for our ceremony - and they did an incredible job with that as well! Groove authority was the first vendor that we booked!! We saw groove authority at two back to back weddings a few summers before our wedding. We wrote down their name and the second we got engaged we contacted them. When we reached out about a year and a half prior to our wedding they already had a few inquiries for the day of our wedding. We decided that we wanted to book them immediately! Paul was easy to talk to, very detailed and wanted to make sure he could do anything in his power to make it the best day possible for us! The band captured the attention of all of our guests. They played a variety of music (all of the genres VERY well) and everyone heard a song that spoke to them. The band was the major thing all of our guests still talk about. The singers were interactive with the guests and everyone LOVED them- including us!! A few things that Paul offered that we didn’t think of before were ceremony music, cocktail hour music, up lighting in the reception hall, Photo Booth and more. We highly recommend groove authority!!!

We recently celebrated our 50th anniversary with a blow-out party! Groove Authority supplied their talents and energy to help make it the best we could have hoped for. Plan your wedding date around this band. If they are not available, change your wedding date. My daughter was married over the weekend. Groove Authority had everyone of all ages dancing all night. We requested a few must play songs and a few don’t play. They filled in the rest while reading the crowd perfectly. This is no exaggeration; every guest we’ve spoken with since the wedding has commented on how the band made the wedding.

We hired Groove Authority for our wedding in June 2023 and had an amazing experience. The band leader, Paul, was extremely kind, professional, and helpful in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding as we planned out our big day, especially with the timeline. The music at our event was top notch- all of our guests were extremely complementary of Groove Authority. GA really took the time to get to know us and our music taste, and their set list reflected our choices and preferences perfectly. It is clear the band has been together for a number of years- their vibe on stage was fun and professional. The band paid close attention to our guests and did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor the whole night. We would recommend GA to our friends and family for future events without hesitation. In addition to the awesome music, Paul and the group are just genuinely good people to work with and won’t disappoint.

Groove Authority was INCREDIBLE! Our wedding was about a month ago now, and I'm still hearing from guests how much they loved the band. Many guests have said that the band made the wedding! Their energy was amazing, they kept the party going and there was music for everyone. Paul was fantastic to work with leading up to the big day - he was organized, informative and professional. I got married in June 26th and Groove Authority killed it!! You know a band is exceptionally talented when the wedding guests are all out on the dance floor for the WHOLE night. HIRE GROOVE AUTHORITY!! They kept our dance floor flooded all night long and Paul was SUCH a pleasure to work with. Everything went off without a hitch and I couldn't be happier that we chose Groove as our wedding band. They put on an incredible performance and tailored the sets to the crowd. The vocal and instrumental abilities are seriously unmatched and their passion for music is evident in each song. As a musician myself, I have nothing but the highest praise for Groove Authority. Paul especially made things so easy and comfortable from our very first interactions through the night of our wedding. That was really important for us because we were asking Groove Authority to do everything from managing the sound system, emceeing throughout the night, playing live music for both the cocktail hour and the reception (including new song requests), and many other details. And what a night of dancing we had! Groove Authority has such talented performers who really know how to work the crowd. We had so many guests tell us how memorable Groove Authority made our celebration, and some even decided that they now need a live band (instead of DJ) for their own upcoming weddings. We feel so grateful that we were able to have them as part of our wedding!

I always knew I wanted a live band for my wedding, but Groove Authority surpassed even my expectations! By the end of their first set, I had already had a dozen guests come up to me telling my how much they loved the band. They read the dance floor as the night went on and played accordingly. As a bride who was on the dance floor all night, my favorite part was that the singers joined the dance floor and engaged with both me and my guests (my sister got to play the guitar!). They were super flexible, letting me make my own cocktail hour spotify playlist, and even learned a song they had never played before for my father daughter dance. You won't regret choosing them!

The provided lovely ceremony and cocktail hour music and then absolutely rocked the reception. We had guests of all ages for a Sunday night wedding and there were people who could not stop dancing. “And that band!!” - all of our guests. Hiring Groove Authority was one of the best decisions we made leading up to our wedding day. Paul and the rest of the band were incredibly easy to work with and the band was able to play a wide variety of songs throughout the night (and quite well!). Best money we spent that day.

Groove Authority was fantastic! Pretty much every guest made a point of saying how great they were, and how we agree! Paul and the band worked with us to learn a new song for our first dance, adapted the arrangement to match our preferences, and helped craft a schedule that really worked. The energy throughout the night was exactly what we wanted. We hope this is our only wedding, but would hire them again in a heartbeat if we had the right occasion!

Groove Authority is the BEST! They played at a friend’s wedding three years ago and were SO much fun we knew we needed to ask them to play at our wedding too! Paul was very easy to work without throughout the planning process and extremely responsive to email. The band traveled over 2 hours from Boston to Vermont for our wedding day. They have an amazing repertoire and kept everyone dancing the entire night. All our guests raved about how awesome the band was, we couldn’t have asked for a more fun night!

Groove Authority is the best band! As soon as we booked our venue, we started looking for a band, because the band makes the party. And as soon as we saw the demo video for Groove Authority, we knew we had found the right band. Paul was great to work with and paid attention to every detail (including last minute changes to our ceremony music), the sax and keyboardist created the ideal ambience during our cocktail hour, and the band absolutely rocked the house at our reception. We got so many compliments about the band—many of our guests said it was the best wedding band ever! The three vocalists work together seamlessly, and they even come out to the dance floor so that people can sing along with certain songs. Paul also came out to the dance floor during a song my husband secretly requested and handed me a guitar pick so that I could pick his guitar while he played. Tremendous fun! Definitely book this band—you won’t regret it!
