Joe was a great DJ! He went the extra mile to talk with me and my husband to make sure all the details of the wedding were worked out and the day will go smoothly. A change in contract meant that the services should have stopped sooner but Joe happily stayed the extra hour for serve our whole wedding.

I can't recommend Joe Toto from Groove Events enough! Him & his team were incredible for our August 2022 wedding at Granite Links. From the beginning of our planning, through our wedding day Joe was amazing. The Groove Team set up the sound for the ceremony, the uplighting for our reception & Joe was the MC & DJ for our reception. Joe called me the week before our wedding to check-in, share his excitement & make sure he understood the vibe we were going for. I really appreciated this, as the music was a very important factor for me and my husband. Joe greeted my husband and I before our ceremony & even adjusted to make a last minute change to the entrances to our reception. He and his team had smiling faces all night & kept the vibe of our night upbeat & fun, just like we wanted! My family and friends didn't leave the dance floor all night & are still talking about how fun it was! Thank you again Groove events, you're the best!

DJ Matt Toto was the DJ for our wedding. Matt was very easy to work with. Prior to the wedding he set up a meeting to go over what we wanted at the reception in terms of music, and announcements. When the wedding day came, he followed our requests perfectly. He gave off great energy and the guests loved him! The music was awesome and many of our guests commented on how great the DJ was. We would highly recommend Matt in the future!

DJ Matt Toto was the DJ for our wedding. From the planning until the last song, Matt went above and beyond. He worked hard to provide sound at the summit of a mountain for our ceremony. We were lucky enough to book Joe Toto as our DJ AND his wife Marcia as our photographer. Marcia was so lovely to work with! She came early to capture some pre-wedding moments and then stayed through the reception. We have just recieved the photos and she did such a fantastic job capturing our big day. We also cannot say enough about Joe. He was the greatest DJ! Somehow he took the list of music that we gave him and included all of our important songs while adding tons of crowd-pleasers. He kept all of our guests (literally everyone-- from age 2 to 80) on the dance floor through the very last song. They really brought the fun!

Joe at Groove Events did our bistro lighting for our wedding on September 22 in Falmouth, MA. It was an outdoor ceremony under a tent, and Joe did a wonderful job with our lights. He has asked for photos of what we were thinking before our big day, just to ensure that he could do exactly what we wanted. In addition, Joe was very organized and his follow up was great – he would get back to us on any and all questions right away. I felt like I could really trust Joe and his business because he knew what he was doing, and he was happy to proactively share details about his services and his professional opinion on what was best. Joe is a true professional who takes a lot of pride in his work, and I would highly recommend working with him.

Joe Toto and his crew were the best! The DJ had the whole crowd dancing all night long. They accommodated any and all requests and I would recommend them again and again!! They also did my up-lighting which was perfect and the video which I cannot wait to see. So happy we chose groove events!!

Groove Events went far and beyond in helping to make our wedding day very special. Out of the set of things that could go wrong in a wedding, they moved forward flawlessly. When we realized we were missing a microphone for the rabbi, they offered to fill in the gap with their own. Their lighting was amazing and helped make the venue appear even more stunning. Groove events did the lighting and monogram for my wedding at aldrich mansion! they lit up the inside and outside of the mansion and it looked truly spectacular! you can not go wrong using Groove for your lighting and event needs! such a great company to work with! thank you again Joe and team!

If you want your wedding to be over the top, look no further then Groove Entertainment! We worked with Groove to have up lighting and photo booths at our wedding. The up lighting took the look of our reception venue over the top and made the room look better then we had ever imagined. We’ve had multiple people come to us after our wedding who loved the photo/GIF booths and thought that the people working the booths were fun and professional. Joe Toto and his entire team knocked it out of the park and we would highly recommend them for your wedding!

Derek Campbell went above and beyond for our wedding. He had people dancing the ENTIRE reception, before dinner was even served! He worked with us to incorporate what we wanted but then made it far better than I had dreamed. He's great at reading the crowd, and keeping the music flowing. I can't recommend Derek enough!

Derek Campbell was the DJ for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice! We sat down with Derek and started planning every detail, from introductions, to late night music a few months in advance, and he laid out everything he'd need from us to make our event successful. Derek was very professional and took all of our suggestions and concerns into consideration, making sure he wasn't just playing music that we liked, but that he set the appropriate tone to reflect our personalities, and to make our guests happy. We had family from around the world and requested some cultural-specific music, and he integrated it in without skipping a beat. Derek kept everyone on the Dance floor until 2 AM when the reception staff finished for the evening. My husband and I had such an amazing time, and all of our guests commented on what a great job he had done, as well. Some of our guests have already asked for his information for their upcoming wedding. We wanted to not only have a great ceremony and wedding, but also an awesome party with all of our family and friends, and that's exactly what we got. We worked with Graeme Ritchie for our wedding and could not have been more pleased with everything he did to make our wedding so wonderful! Graeme was easy to get in touch with and spent some time asking the right kinds of questions, but it was clear he knew what he was talking about, and didn't need a ton of direction. We sent him some songs and artists we liked, the kind of music we wanted played when throughout the night, and left a lot up to him. Day-of, Graeme was great - fairly hands-off but it was clear that he was on-top of everything that needed to happen and when it needed to happen. The music was amazing - really spot on at every moment of the evening, from the ceremony (which we did pick out which songs we wanted) to the dinner and dancing. Graeme's shining moments were during the dancing portion of the event. People loved the music and the dance floor was packed all night. Since the wedding, multiple people have commented how much fun they had dancing and how good the DJ was - and we agree! As a note, my wife and I are both women and it was a lesbian wedding. Graeme was just generally easy to work with around this and was welcoming, warm and, most importantly, a great DJ!

We came across reviews of Peter’s DJ work in our early stages of planning. It is almost unbelievable when a vendor has nearly all perfect reviews, but after seeing him in action, it’s clear why! Peter is absolutely talented at what he does. We provided him a list of artists and songs to give a feel of what we were going for music-wise, and told him we were hoping for an all night dance party. That is absolutely what we got! He is amazing at reading the room and getting a feel for what will keep people on the floor.Peter was so great at getting everyone excited and amped up, people were even hitting the dancefloor between their meal courses. Everything planning-wise leading up to the wedding was smooth; Peter was in touch with our venue coordinators and everything went off without a hitch.

Joe Toto and his entire team were the absolute greatest to work with! You can tell that they love what they do - and that comes through in the uplighting, pin-spotting, DJ and emcee services loud and clear. They worked incredibly hard to transform our reception ballroom into a sight that made our guests gasp as they entered. The music playlist was LITERALLY the best ever and it got better and better with each song that played! Our wedding ended at 12:15-12:30 and the dance floor was completely full until the very end with guests NOT WANTING TO LEAVE! Joe and his entire team are terrific - we couldn't have been happier!

We worked with Graeme Ritchie at Groove Events. He was great! Took all of our requests and considerations into account to put together a lovely set of music for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He energized the crowd when he needed to, but also took a step back when he found it appropriate. He was very nice and approachable, and a great deal for the price!

So when Todd and I where looking for our DJ and lighting we had one meeting with Joe Toto and he knew exactly what we where looking for music at our wedding. He knew some of the names of artist before we even told him. He and his crew did an amazing job with both the room lighting and music. Peter Diozzi was the DJ for our wedding and provided the uplighting for the reception and cocktail hour space. From the minute I first spoke with Peter on the phone I immediately knew he was my DJ! We completely connected, he was so easy to talk to and I knew he would be perfect for our wedding. He was incredibly easy to work with and stopped at nothing to make sure everything was perfect, and it was :) The uplighting was perfect and gave the reception space the perfect glow I was looking for and his DJ skills were top notch! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! Highly recommend

Where do I begin???? Joe and Marcia Toto and everyone at Groove Entertainment went above and beyond to make sure my special day was all I had ever imagined and more! Joe nailed everything when it came to DJing, sheers, lighting, montage, instant replay, etc!!!! Marcia stayed the ENTIRE night and let me tell you; the pictures that we received were to die for!! It's amazing the magic her and her crew could do with a camera! I would highly recommend using Groove for any special occasion you may have! If we lived locally, they would be the ones I'd run to for anything entertainment!! I could go on and on about how much I loved everything they did for my husband and I, but, honestly, one meeting with them and you will know exactly what I mean!!

I had the great fortune of booking Joe Toto as the DJ for my wedding and his wife Marcia as our photographer. They both came highly recommended from a friend I have in the Boston area event-planning industry and from the first meeting I had with them I could see why. Both Joe and Marcia were so professional and easy to work with, and they both made me feel 100% confident that they could deliver what I had been dreaming of in my head. Throughout the planning process both Joe and Marcia kept in constant contact with me to make sure that we were on the same page as far as details, and as we got closer to the wedding they were both able to provide me with a detailed outline of how their specific part of our day was going to go. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch. Marcia worked tirelessly getting every possible photo and Joe created the exact atmosphere that I was hoping for. Not only was their communication with me great, but the communication between them and my other vendors was flawless and it enabled the day to run smoothly and without problem. I would 100% use them again for another event, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality DJ or photographer.

Derek Campbell was our DJ, and we are so happy we used him! All our friends and family said the wedding was amazing, but the DJ made it. He kept the party going. The dance floor floor was never awkwardly empty! He played the type of music everyone liked. Noe elevator music here. I highly recommend Derek Campbell!

Peter was excellent from the moment we met to consider hiring him as our DJ. He was very clear that he would play exactly what we wanted to hear and at our wedding he did an amazing job of reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on the dance floor. Even more important for my husband, who used to work weddings himself and has heard “Love Shack” more than he ever wanted to, Peter promised that he wouldn’t play anything we didn’t want to hear. He also made it clear that if we hired him, he would be our DJ, no matter what. Peter lived up to all of our expectations and more. We also contracted with Groove to provide some up-lighting, which Peter was responsible for setting up. When we arrived to the reception and were given a preview of the ballroom before our guests entered it looked better than we ever imagined. The atmosphere was warm and fun, but still classy, which our guests are still talking about. Peter was extremely professional and came over to greet us and congratulate us as soon as we entered the ballroom. He took a few minutes to quickly go through the checklist of events with us one more time to make sure he’d cover everything we wanted. We explained to him that we were going to try and take group photos with all of our guests before dinner, so that we may start a few minutes late and he was very understanding. He just rolled with things all night and checked with us several times to make sure that we were having a great time. Peter was fantastic at finding the songs that got the crowd involved. We heard every song we asked for, and despite our long playlist, Peter was able to get in most of the guest requests too. Our ceremony also included a lot of old family traditions that we peppered in throughout the night. We had originally asked Peter to MC for the audience’s benefit. In the moment, we decided it might be better if the family did the talking. Peter was very flexible and helped us introduce the traditions and then handed over the microphone so that we could take it from there. Unlike a lot of DJs, Peter did not make himself the show. He was involved when we asked him to be, but otherwise was in the background keeping the energy up all night. At the end of the night our guests had so many compliments about the reception, and a large number of those compliments were about how great the DJ was. Peter is a skilled professional who can find music to engage both young and old at the same time. He is extremely fun to work with and absolutely delivers on expectations. Our wedding would not have been as wonderful had we gone with someone else. Your event is in great hands should you hire Peter.

Groove Events is amazing! We used Joe Toto for our music and up lighting, and could not have been happier. He had insightful ideas about the lighting design. Also, he kept the dance floor packed the whole night long. He also provided a photobooth, which was the hit of the reception. Rich and Dean DJ'ed my wedding in Boston this past weekend. Rich was my contact prior to the wedding and he was fantastic to work with - professional, helpful and pleasant. He and Dean incorporated my song requests into the evening but also did a great job setting the right tone throughout the event with music of their own choosing. They had all the tracks that I wanted for special dances, etc., and were able to suggest others (i.e. last dance song) that I was stumped on. They also did a fantastic job with the uplighting - seemed like a bit of a splurge at the time but it really added to the ambience during the reception portion of the evening. Their prices seemed reasonable and the company also gave me a discount for booking DJ, uplighting, photography and video with the same company. Highly highly recommend their services to future brides.

I found out about Groove Events through a quick search of Entertainment Companies within the Boston area. Seeing that they were located in the town I grew up in (attended school - Lexington)...I was immediately interested! My initial request was simply for the uplighting-it was a MUST have for our wedding and based on their pictures from previous weddings, I knew we had to give them a shot! Once meeting with Marc and Joe, I was immediately smitten! Every idea I could think of for decorating, lights, music, photos...they were able to do! My husband on the other hand was a little skeptical but, come wedding day...he was more than pleased! Joe is by far one of the BEST DJ's we have ever seen at any wedding and we couldn't count the number of compliments we kept getting from our guests. His ability to entertain our very diverse crowd was impeccable. Marc handled everything from beginning to end but, seemed to be nowhere in sight...everything just seemed to get done somehow without him being noticed. And Marcia was for sure, the best photographer! She even stayed extra hours just to ensure she captured every magical moment. We used Joe Toto, the owner of Groove events to DJ our wedding on 7/13/13 and could not have been happier. as a DJ, he was very professional and he kept the party going all night. Many people have said to me how fun the wedding was and that the dance floor seemed pack all night and this is thanks to Joe! If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch Joe is the DJ to use, he has a ton of experience and is able to play off the crowd and keep the party going! I would highly recommend him!

Peter Diozzi had everybody out on the dance floor from the moment dinner was over! We heard over and over from our wedding guests how much they liked the DJ - he really was able to read the crowd! Derek was a HUGE hit at our wedding!! My husband, parents, and I had met with Derek and one of Groove's photographers over a year prior to our wedding. While we didn't book the photographer, we knew we HAD to book Derek! He was easy-going, funny, and professional. It was really important to me that I was able to see video of him in action at a wedding, as some other DJs didn't offer this when I was looking. Between that meeting and our wedding we didn't have a ton of communication, but that was likely just because I hadn't needed to reach out for anything. When I finally did have some questions about a month prior to the wedding, he was super responsive and patient. We had a NYE wedding and he was willing to work with us to facilitate a few things like the countdown clock and NYE party garb. He even seemed enthusiastic and excited to be spending the holiday with us! I can't say enough good things about Derek. He was one of my favorite vendors from the occasion and I'm STILL getting compliments about him even a month later... You will not regret booking him :) Thank you, Derek!!

I used Joe Toto of Groove for my wedding on 9/21.. and when I say he rocked the house- he had EVERYONE on the dance floor. This guy is skilled at getting everyone up and having a good time!! He and his staff have a great energy level and were so easy to work with. All the songs I wanted played were played, along with other requests such as shortening the parent dances. Every time I called them for something Joe or someone on their staff got back to me, same with e-mails. I loved all the people at Groove and would use them without question the next time I need some music!!

We used Groove for our October 2012 wedding. We were pleased 100% with the entire process from initial planning through the wedding. All of their staff are courteous, professional, and respond to emails and telephone calls quickly (24-48 hours). We were impressed when we had the option to do our DJ interview via Skype; since our work schedules made a weeknight commute to Groove's office difficult. We used DJ Joe Toto and we were so happy! He did an excellent job reading our wedding dancing crowd, kept people on the dance floor all night. Joe played our requests and did not play the songs/genres on our "do not play" list. Joe really made our wedding a fun party for us and our guests. I highly recommend this company to all brides!

I had Rich Moretti as my DJ, and thought he and his partner did an awesome job! The only thing I would have changed would be to have them play faster, younger stuff earlier on in the dance (the oldies got a little old), but overall they were nice, professional, fun, and really great. I would absolutely recommend them!

I had lights and DJ services from Groove and it was truly perfect, I would highly recommend Groove to all brides, they are stress free, so helpful and the DJ made the whole wedding. Not one person sitting, everyone was on the dance floor all night.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Andover Country Club. Groove Entertainment was one of their preferred vendors and we could definitely see why. Not only amazing but truly professional. Peter Diozzi was our DJ and he also did our uplighting. Having never been married before Peter put our mind at ease. At our consultation we went over everything, and I mean everything. We also got to see how the uplighting worked and how it changed at a turn of a switch. He was truly focused on us having a great time and he kept reminding us that we are the most important people on our wedding day. A week prior to the wedding he met with us again, due to my nervousness because the wedding was approaching. We gave him our song list and settled on a color for the lighting. He even sat with us and listened to the music and wrote down exact timing of where we wanted songs to begin and end for the wedding party entrances. We were so happy. On the day of the wedding, Peter arrived early to the venue and set everything up, inside the reception hall and outside in the garden area where the ceremony was being held. The whole night was amazing. Peter was EXACTLY what we were looking for and wanted in a DJ. He put us first and made our wedding one that would NEVER be forgotten!!!!! We HIGHLY recommend Groove Entertainment to everyone!!!!!

The videographer was also great. We never got his name, and that's because he was so great at what he did. He blended into the crowd very well and we had no idea that he was there until we actually scanned the room for him. We can't wait to see the video. We worked with Groove Entertainment for the uplights at our wedding. They were very responsive, sent a lot of pictures, and did a great job at the wedding. The lights looked terrific and were the best value I found in town!!

Groove Entertainment's Peter Diozzi was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing. I would recommend him to everyone looking for a DJ for their wedding. We danced for 5 hours straight, the dance floor was always packed and it was by far the best night of my life. I did not have to worry about one thing. Peter was professional, kept things in line and on schedule. He was a great master of ceremony. He helped us plan our music selection for introductions. We gave him a few songs that we wanted played at the wedding, and he took it from there. 8 months later our friends and family continue to tell us that they had a blast at our wedding and that our wedding was one of the best they had been to. Derek our DJ was just great. He played exactly what i wanted him to. This company also provided the lighting and that totally added to the atmosphere on the dance floor for the night. I can highly reccomend him if you want your guests to have an amazing night.

If you don't hire Groove Entertainment and Lighting for some part of your wedding, you're really missing out on a great experience. We used GROOVE for uplighting for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. The ambiance in the room that night at Alpine Country Club was warm, welcoming and unforgettable. It was classy and elegant, yet fun and hip...it was GROOVY! Before the wedding, some family and friends wondered why we were spending any money on lighting at all...but after they saw the "mood" lighting...they said it was absolutely spectacular and beautiful! Joe, Amanda & the whole team at Groove ROCK HARD! GROOVE YOURSELVES!

My photographers Marcia,Franco and Mike from Groove Entertainment were amazing! Our wedding day was October 14,11 and of course typical New England weather kicked in and it rained all day. Marcia knew how much I wanted to get a few outdoor shots with the beautiful fall foliage in the background over the lake. Well we had a short break in the rain so we quickly got out there, and they rounded up all the parents, grandparents, and the bridal party to get those outside shots for us!!! They were very professional, but fun and engaging with us and our guests. They were very unobtrusive, but always there to get the great candid and fun shots! I highly recommend any one of them to any bride who wants a photographer that comes with a friendly personality , and is willing to get out in the rain to get the shots that mean the most to you!! Thank you so much Marcia, Franco and Mike for turning my rainy day into a MAGICAL one!!!!

Groove Entertainment and lighting is an amazing company and worth every penny! Joe Toto is a professional and kept my guests dancing ALL night! The lighting was amazing and turned our venue into a fairytale come true! Thanks Groove!!

We had Rich and Dean. They were both awesome, and kept the party going all night. The music selection was great, and they were a ton of fun. I would highly recommend them!

My husband Jason and I got married about two weeks ago and used groove for all of our wedding needs, marcia for photography, Joe Toto for DJ and Uplighting, and Franco for our videographer. There is not one thing throughout the entire experience from booking,planning,and the actual wedding that I would change or have a negative comment about. Groove is very professional yet modern and hip. They know exactly how to cater to what you want and know what you expect of them.
