the very last song - the dance floor was electric and our guests had the time of their lives thanks to Matt (see photo for proof!) He was so open, communicative and easy to work with throughout the planning process, he truly brought our vision to life! We also added on the photo booth option and uplighting that were both gamechangers for our reception! We cannot recommend DJ Matt Toto enough for your wedding or any honestly any upcoming event!

d. One of our most special memories was the anniversary dance that Joe coordinated ending with my husband’s grandparents as the last couple on the dance floor with the most years of marriage. It made such a difference to have announcements so guests didn’t miss important parts of the night. My friends and I were so excited to hear our favorite songs and danced the night away. We are so grateful Joe was a part of our special day.

spent some time asking the right kinds of questions, but it was clear he knew what he was talking about, and didn't need a ton of direction. We sent him some songs and artists we liked, the kind of music we wanted played when throughout the night, and left a lot up to him. Day-of, Graeme was great - fairly hands-off but it was clear that he was on-top of everything that needed to happen and when it needed to happen. The music was amazing - really spot on at every moment of the evening, from the ceremony (which we did pick out which songs we wanted) to the dinner and dancing. Graeme's shining moments were during the dancing portion of the event. People loved the music and the dance floor was packed all night. Since the wedding, multiple people have commented how much fun they had dancing and how good the DJ was - and we agree! As a note, my wife and I are both women and it was a lesbian wedding. Graeme was just generally easy to work with around this and was welcoming, warm and, most importantly, a great DJ!

We provided him a list of artists and songs to give a feel of what we were going for music-wise, and told him we were hoping for an all night dance party. That is absolutely what we got! He is amazing at reading the room and getting a feel for what will keep people on the floor.Peter was so great at getting everyone excited and amped up, people were even hitting the dancefloor between their meal courses. Everything planning-wise leading up to the wedding was smooth; Peter was in touch with our venue coordinators and everything went off without a hitch.

Both Joe and Marcia were so professional and easy to work with, and they both made me feel 100% confident that they could deliver what I had been dreaming of in my head. Throughout the planning process both Joe and Marcia kept in constant contact with me to make sure that we were on the same page as far as details, and as we got closer to the wedding they were both able to provide me with a detailed outline of how their specific part of our day was going to go. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch. Marcia worked tirelessly getting every possible photo and Joe created the exact atmosphere that I was hoping for. Not only was their communication with me great, but the communication between them and my other vendors was flawless and it enabled the day to run smoothly and without problem. I would 100% use them again for another event, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality DJ or photographer.

Even more important for my husband, who used to work weddings himself and has heard “Love Shack” more than he ever wanted to, Peter promised that he wouldn’t play anything we didn’t want to hear. He also made it clear that if we hired him, he would be our DJ, no matter what. Peter lived up to all of our expectations and more. We also contracted with Groove to provide some up-lighting, which Peter was responsible for setting up. When we arrived to the reception and were given a preview of the ballroom before our guests entered it looked better than we ever imagined. The atmosphere was warm and fun, but still classy, which our guests are still talking about. Peter was extremely professional and came over to greet us and congratulate us as soon as we entered the ballroom. He took a few minutes to quickly go through the checklist of events with us one more time to make sure he’d cover everything we wanted. We explained to him that we were going to try and take group photos with all of our guests before dinner, so that we may start a few minutes late and he was very understanding. He just rolled with things all night and checked with us several times to make sure that we were having a great time. Peter was fantastic at finding the songs that got the crowd involved. We heard every song we asked for, and despite our long playlist, Peter was able to get in most of the guest requests too. Our ceremony also included a lot of old family traditions that we peppered in throughout the night. We had originally asked Peter to MC for the audience’s benefit. In the moment, we decided it might be better if the family did the talking. Peter was very flexible and helped us introduce the traditions and then handed over the microphone so that we could take it from there. Unlike a lot of DJs, Peter did not make himself the show. He was involved when we asked him to be, but otherwise was in the background keeping the energy up all night. At the end of the night our guests had so many compliments about the reception, and a large number of those compliments were about how great the DJ was. Peter is a skilled professional who can find music to engage both young and old at the same time. He is extremely fun to work with and absolutely delivers on expectations. Our wedding would not have been as wonderful had we gone with someone else. Your event is in great hands should you hire Peter.

d Dean incorporated my song requests into the evening but also did a great job setting the right tone throughout the event with music of their own choosing. They had all the tracks that I wanted for special dances, etc., and were able to suggest others (i.e. last dance song) that I was stumped on. They also did a fantastic job with the uplighting - seemed like a bit of a splurge at the time but it really added to the ambience during the reception portion of the evening. Their prices seemed reasonable and the company also gave me a discount for booking DJ, uplighting, photography and video with the same company. Highly highly recommend their services to future brides.

My initial request was simply for the uplighting-it was a MUST have for our wedding and based on their pictures from previous weddings, I knew we had to give them a shot! Once meeting with Marc and Joe, I was immediately smitten! Every idea I could think of for decorating, lights, music, photos...they were able to do! My husband on the other hand was a little skeptical but, come wedding day...he was more than pleased! Joe is by far one of the BEST DJ's we have ever seen at any wedding and we couldn't count the number of compliments we kept getting from our guests. His ability to entertain our very diverse crowd was impeccable. Marc handled everything from beginning to end but, seemed to be nowhere in sight...everything just seemed to get done somehow without him being noticed. And Marcia was for sure, the best photographer! She even stayed extra hours just to ensure she captured every magical moment. Many people have said to me how fun the wedding was and that the dance floor seemed pack all night and this is thanks to Joe! If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch Joe is the DJ to use, he has a ton of experience and is able to play off the crowd and keep the party going! I would highly recommend him!

It was really important to me that I was able to see video of him in action at a wedding, as some other DJs didn't offer this when I was looking. Between that meeting and our wedding we didn't have a ton of communication, but that was likely just because I hadn't needed to reach out for anything. When I finally did have some questions about a month prior to the wedding, he was super responsive and patient. We had a NYE wedding and he was willing to work with us to facilitate a few things like the countdown clock and NYE party garb. He even seemed enthusiastic and excited to be spending the holiday with us! I can't say enough good things about Derek. He was one of my favorite vendors from the occasion and I'm STILL getting compliments about him even a month later... You will not regret booking him :) Thank you, Derek!!

good time!! He and his staff have a great energy level and were so easy to work with. All the songs I wanted played were played, along with other requests such as shortening the parent dances. Every time I called them for something Joe or someone on their staff got back to me, same with e-mails. We were impressed when we had the option to do our DJ interview via Skype; since our work schedules made a weeknight commute to Groove's office difficult. We used DJ Joe Toto and we were so happy! He did an excellent job reading our wedding dancing crowd, kept people on the dance floor all night. Joe played our requests and did not play the songs/genres on our "do not play" list. Joe really made our wedding a fun party for us and our guests. I highly recommend this company to all brides!
