We had The Limit as our wedding band and they were absolutely incredible. Truly cannot say enough good things about them and working with Groovin’ You Entertainment for the full experience. Elise was our contact throughout the process and she was so helpful from day 1. She helped us to really hone in on how we wanted our wedding to feel musically and vibes wise from ceremony, to cocktail hour, through end of the reception, took so much time to explain the whole process to us, handled all of the coordination with our venue and planner, and ultimately made sure music day of the wedding ran completely seamlessly. The Limit themselves are the most amazing band. They had so much energy the whole night and were all so incredibly talented. They engaged with the crowd throughout the night and all of the guests are still talking about how much fun they had because of the band. Would HIGHLY recommend to any couples looking for a band.

We were able to log into an online portal to seamlessly select song options, share our wedding timeline, and arrange meetings with GYE as needed leading up to the wedding. In addition to the live band, which kept everyone dancing throughout the reception, we also had a lovely string quartet during our ceremony and a guitarist during our cocktail hour. Highly recommend!

it from the rooftops! One main reason we hired this band was because the people you see in the video are the people who come to your event! Not random musicians thrown together for the night! That was extremely important to us that it was a cohesive band! Colin and Elise who you talk to during the booking and planning process were extremely organized and on top of everything leading up to the wedding. We had one musician unavailable on our day and Colin and Elise promise us that they had a fill in that would blow us away and they were more than right! When I tell you this band had every single person of my 160 person wedding on the dance floor I mean people were dancing on the grass and chairs because you couldn’t help yourself! Bartenders were dancing behind the bar! I looked around and if people weren’t waiting for a drink they were dancing their butts off. Aunts and Uncles sprinted to the dance floor after dinner to not miss a moment. My family who works in the music industry are RAVING about Soundtrack Central. All the singers, especially Kyana were some of the most talented people I’ve ever heard in my life! Ben who is the keyboardist sang a Jonas Brothers song because it was my request and he nailed it! My legs hurt the next day because I never left the dance floor! I could go on and on because they were EVERYTHING! Every single guests of ours is saying it was the best wedding and best band they’ve ever been to! Soundtrack Central played the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and everything they did was perfect! I searched high and low for a band like them, even my wedding planner was amazed at their professionalism and talents and she said they were the best band she’s ever worked with and heard! She will be recommending them to a lot of her clients! If I can’t convince you that this is your band I don’t know what you’re doing because no band can ever compare to Soundtrack Centeal! They were the highlight of our wedding!

o finish. We used the original Groovin' You band, and they were unbelievable. The portal GYE is piloting also helps make band / DJ planning & vendor interactions very straight forward. We had a few hiccups elsewhere on our big day, but GYE & the Groovin' You ensemble totally overshadowed those issues! The dance floor was full for a full 6 hours, and their transition from 11 piece band to a DJ set was seamless. Thank you GYE for being part of our wedding celebration!!

We asked for an upbeat, high energy vibe for dancing throughout the entire night and they delivered beyond belief! y of working with a moving timeline and last minute switch to an indoor reception, the adorableness of essentially adopting a new band member in my cousin's 6 year old daughter who they allowed to jump up on stage to dance and rock out her glow stick guitar with them... And not to forget the pure talent and phenomenal set list curation. For our "last dance", we had a special request for the band to learn an acoustic cover of a Blink-182 song and then transition into the normal, rock version. It was SO good and SO much fun. Earlier in the night, they had played another Blink-182 song and before playing mentioned how they knew the bride and groom really liked this artist. There were just these "little moments" and interactions they had with us and our guests that amplified the fun x 10 and made our day feel so, so special.

If you really want to get the party started these are definitely the guys to do that. For us they opened up the floor with an amazing "Juice" cover, slayed the Mother/Son dance with an epic simple man rendition and challenged Beyonce for the best dance to "Single Ladies" - Take our word for it, this is the band you want at your wedding.

gree! For that reason alone I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area. They were also very professional throughout the process.
Totally unprompted from us, they did an awesome mash up of a Hamilton song with an Eminem song (I don't even like Eminem but it sounded great, my husband is obsessed with Hamilton) and threw in some very recent hits too (Old Town Road etc).
My only complaint/criticism is that the first set (out of two) did not seem to use any of the songs that we had selected from their song list, and in fact included a number that I don't like at all. It would be helpful to be more clear with the customer that the song list that we select is much more of a general guide than a specific list that they will guarantee will be played... unless that was just a mistake? We spent a lot of time going through the 6 page song list they sent us and figuring out which ones we wanted to hear. Despite this, in the end it was obvious that the guests had a great time, and we would hire them again without hesitation.

They were on top of all the little requests I had and even interacted with the audience by playing the sax in the crowd and brought my husband i and i up on stage at the end! We even had a day-of change and he accommodated it perfectly without a hitch, which was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them - and the music was incredible! They did an amazing job learning our first dance song. They played a great mix of music – oldies and new songs, and really kept the party going all night long. They had such great energy and really interacted with all the guests. Due to some unforeseen weather, our venue extended the reception for an extra half hour, and the band agreed to stay for a small fee, which was really appreciated. Everyone at the reception kept telling us how amazing the band was and that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would absolutely recommend Groovin’ You!

of energy. None of the bands we had seen were able to move the crowd or put forth the kind of youthful aesthetic and superior musicianship that we were looking for. When they said they would travel to Philadelphia, we knew we had found the perfect band. As a musician myself, it was important to me that Groovin' You perform the song I had written for my wife at our first dance. Not only did they learn it, they arranged it in such a way that it exceeded my wildest expectations. There was not a dry eye in the house. They were up front, professional, and executed with flair. Months later, we are still hearing from our guests about how "THAT BAND" was the highlight of the entire event. We're thinking about renewing our vows next year just so they can come play again :) We could not recommend Groovin' You more highly. They are the best wedding band that we - or any of our guests - had ever seen and an absolute pleasure to work with.

at our wedding venue’s food tasting, I was interviewing a possible photographer and I asked him who his favorite bands were to listen to while shooting. Without hesitation, the reply was “Groovin’ You are all the way from boston, but young, energetic and totally worth it!” From there, we seemed like we had a lead. Colin was easy to communicate with and helped us get into one of their live shows in Newport. In short time, they had the entire Newport House of Blues up and dancing. With three different lead vocalists hitting different genres of music, we knew they would be a hit! After hiring them they were easy to work with. They want to read the crowd and I could tell they made adjustments to play songs that would get people up dancing. They perfected the swing song we did our first dance to and it was amazing! Being in our mid 30’s we wanted an energetic band that our friends and family would enjoy hearing and want to get up and dance. Groovin’ You exceeded our expectations and were worth the cost! I strongly recommend that you stop searching and hire them as well!

h. They responded to all my emails very quickly and were super helpful with all of my questions and requests. Our dance and the parent dances were all songs that were not on their song list (which is incredibly long). They had no problem performing them for us. They made the show truly for us. They did mashups of my favorite pop artists, they played TSwift for me and had me do the rap from Shake it Off with them (it was amazing!), and finally had us up on stage for the last song to sing. Groovin' You was fantastic and if you are even thinking about getting a band, DO IT! They really completed the night.

ctive with the crowd. I danced the entire night at that wedding and knee that's what I wanted for my own wedding. There was no need to seek any other band. We had the pleasure of seeing them play the night before our wedding at the Thirsty Moose where we brought over 100 people to check them out where they rocked the house and we danced the night away.
Colin and the band were wicked organized and made the formalities easy and transparent. They even offered to attempt to play with our bagpiper! Everything about them is fun. From the beginning of the reception people began to rave about how great their music and vocals were. The ENTIRE wedding (220 people) rocked the dance floor the whole night. At one point they had everyone on the floor followed by everyone jumping up and down. They covered every genre we requested with perfect execution.
I have been asked at least a dozen times since my wedding for their contact information. I would recommend them 100 times over. They truely created the exact atmosphere we hoped for at our wedding. So much so that the entire crowd shouted for "ONE MORE SONG" after the 2nd encore and after the reception center asked them to shut it down. They are professional and are worth every dollar. No other band can cater to all tastes in music like they did and provide 5+ continuous hours of fun like they do! Can't wait to see them at another friend's wedding on 08/27/2016!!

very second of their performance. They got all our guests up and dancing, both young and old. Colin really listened to the types of music we wanted played and the band took that and ran with it- selecting the perfect mix of songs to entertain our guests. What's also great about them is that they're a young fun group, which means they're able to play the latest music on the radio and not just the older more classic wedding tunes. We also had a few members perform during our cocktail hour, which was the perfect addition!
Having moved out of state, it was very difficult to research and find vendors remotely. This band came with the highest of recommendations from the various venues we visited as well as from some of our friends who had attended weddings with the band in the past. They are great communicators and stay on top of all your needs. Our guests are still raving about Groovin' You and we could not have been more happy with their performance.

Our wedding day was THE BEST DAY EVER because of Groovin' You! From the energy, the professionalism, the talent to the band members themselves, I cannot say enough about these guys...
. Our wedding guests were blown away at how awesome the band was.
We got married Aug 22nd, 2015 at Gunstock Mountain in New Hampshire. We had a summit ceremony and we had the band play AT the summit. This meant strapping amps, instruments and themselves to the chairlift to the top. We had them play an acoustic set for the summit ceremony and it was absolutely PERFECT. They jammed' out while our guests were arriving and it set a perfect mood. Our wedding party then walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of "One Love" by Bob Marley and I walked down to "Better Together by Jack Johnson" - all performed live. The band also provided the sound & mics for there ceremony and the quality was top notch.
Our reception was a kickass party and it was all thanks to these guys. From emcee'ing the entrances, dances and more - everything was perfect. They played the perfect mix of songs and there were more than 100 people on the dancefloor! They kept the energy up for 3+ hours. All of our wedding guests kept saying "that was THE BEST wedding band we have ever seen" - my husband and I couldn't agree more.
I also want to make a note about their professionalism pre-and-post wedding. Colin was absolutely fantastic to work with running through the contract and payment terms.
I can't say enough about Groovin' You - we love you guys!

We had such an amazing wedding and you guys were a huge reason for that. You're all so talented & put on such an amazing performance.

We gave them an idea of our taste in music, and they hit it perfectly, playing everything from pop, 80s, classic rock, and wedding classics. Colin also did a really nice job MC'ing the reception. He was flexible and accommodating throughout the process as we continued to adjust our plans. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants to have a memorable night.

Groovin' You is a PHENOMENAL band. We hired them to perform at our wedding on September 6th, 2015, after hearing of them from a friend and seeing them perform live once in Boston....
Could not have been happier with their performance. Whether it is Stevie Wonder, Pink, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Jay-Z, the Beatles, Bon Jovi, or Taylor Swift that you want them to play, they do it all, and they do it really, really, really well.
Not only did they bring an unbelievable amount of energy and fun, they were incredibly accommodating. They learned a ton of Jewish music to play for our Hora, which I believe lasted around 20 minutes. Naturally, we were initially worried about the band's ability to learn music with which they were not previously familiar, but they performed these songs flawlessly. We were so impressed!
They were slightly more expensive than some of the other options out there. HOWEVER, I think a good band is the #1 ingredient to ensure you and all other wedding-goers have a blast. You can try and save a few bucks here or there on decorations, caterer, etc. but I would NOT recommend trying to save on the band. You can't really put a price on the dozens of people coming up to you at your wedding saying how awesome the band is, and how much fun they're having dancing and singing along!
I would recommend Groovin' You 10 times out of 10.

Goovin' You absolutely rocked our wedding. These guys really know how to read the crowd and keep the party going. Their extensive repertoire allows to go in a number of directions....
We loved their energy from the very first time we heard them, and our guests are still talking about the band weeks after the wedding. The group is also very professional and easy to work with - we had a family member perform, and they were more than willing to accommodate, including making arrangements prior to the event. We would absolutely recommend Groovin' You - they won't disappoint.

that's exactly what it was. The band doesn't simply play, they interact with your guests as an audience. Our dance floor was filled the entire time, and we even extended the reception because everyone was having so much fun.
The band played during our ceremony and also played the groom-mother and bride-father songs; they played these songs with such integrity and originality that it left me speechless. I would 125% recommend Groovin' You for your event.
