Groovy 7 absolutely CRUSHED it at our wedding! From the moment they started playing, the energy in the room was incredible. They were so fun, talented, and engaging, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. The vibes were truly everything we hoped for and more.
One thing that meant so much to us was that they went above and beyond to learn one of our favorite songs, “Good Times Roll” by Big Gigantic, so they could perform it on our special day. It made the night feel even more personal and unforgettable, and it is a moment we will always remember.
We also had an amazing surprise performance from local singer Robin Barnes, aka the NOLA Songbird, which made the night even more magical for our guests. The combination of incredible musicianship, energy, and professionalism from the entire band made our reception feel like the ultimate celebration.
Not only are they insanely talented, but they were also wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. We are lucky to call one of the band members a personal friend, and seeing them all come together to create such an unforgettable experience meant the world to us.

Groovy 7 is a wedding band based in New Orleans, LA. This funky group has become New Orleans's first choice for headlining Festivals and large Group conventions. They are New Orleans's choice opener for such artists as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Steven Tyler, Pitbull, Flo Rider, KC & the Sunshine Band, Kiss, and Luke Bryan. In February 2018, Groovy 7 signed on to open for Jason Derulo at the Endymion Extravaganza. G7 has also made it to the big screen here in Hollywood South in the movie Barefoot, recording 2 songs for the film and booking a featured role to boot. Groovy 7 is the choice of celebrities in town when the time comes to celebrate the completion of filming in our great city! G7 was hand-selected to perform for Miley Cyrus and Jamie Kennedy for their wrap parties! It's no wonder G7 is the first choice for brides as well!

t Groovy7 as a preferred vendor and by word of mouth. As soon as we snagged Groovy7 for our date, I knew we made the right decision. Dalila (band manager and lead singer) was amazing to work with. For our first dance, Groovy7 learned "I'm Gonna Be" by Sleeping at Last and was able to weave in the Proclaimers version at the end to help us get our guests up on the dance floor, setting a fun tone for the night. I was so thrilled by this version- it was everything to us. In addition to the ease of working with Groovy7, they are just really, really good. As soon as they started to play, guests were commenting on just how talented they were. Guests are still commenting on our amazing band to this day! I cannot thank them enough for being a part of our special day. If you are in the market for a wedding band, don't bother looking any further! They are simply the best. I honestly wish I had another event to plan soon so I could hear them again!

the nicest and warmest people I have ever met. I just loved talking to her and working with her. Dalila was very detail oriented and sent forms asking for details I would have never thought of on my own. She was great at giving suggestions and helping with specific requests. Groovy 7 played for our wedding reception and a few members of the band also sang and played guitar for the bride and bridal party procession. Nick from Groovy 7 worked closely with my mom on this part, and she, too, had a great experience. It was absolutely beautiful. We have gotten so many positive comments about the band post wedding. One person said, “That band was awesome, sometimes I found myself just watching them like I was at a concert. They were so good.” Another wedding guest commented that she was uncertain about live bands at weddings, but loved Groovy 7! She said, “They played all the classics, sounded so good, and were so much fun!” You can just feel how much this group of talented artists loves their art and they bring such a positive vibe and vivacious energy to everyone in their presence. We cannot recommend this band enough!!!!

Words cannot express how appreciative I am of Dalila and G7. They helped to make my wedding a blast. She was so patient and understanding. I called her with some last minute things...
and she totally made them happen. (Don't be like me, turn your papers in early). I chose "wind beneath my wings" as my father daughter dance and they killed it. I shared with her a song that was the epitome of my husband and I's relationship and she totally surprised me by singing it at our wedding. It was one of my favorite moments at our wedding. I was ecstatic and appreciative of her doing that. She really is an incredible person. As popular as they are, I love that they are still down to earth. Dalila really is there for the bride and groom. I have so many great pictures with them. I gave her an eclectic list of songs and genres I like, (which was super confusing) but she understood (somehow) exactly what I was going for. In the I told her she's the leader and to just do her thang. What sets them apart is their ability to read the crowd. If they see the crowd isn't into a song they can seemlessly go into another song.

The Groovy 7 is AMAZING! Their cover songs, regardless of genre are always just as good as the original, if not better. They keep up with current music and perform the perfect mix ...
of oldies but goodies and new material. They also take their clients' preferences for music seriously and will include/ not include whatever is asked. They are professional and F.U.N., and they 110% are able to read a crowd and know exactly what the crowd will enjoy.

for the beginning of the night and a dancing party after, and she made sure that happened. The band learned a version of song my mother put together for the father daughter dance... it was incredible. I am someone who honestly wants to do everything myself so that I know it is perfect.. but from the beginning I could tell that I could put my entire trust in this group and consider “Music” done and checked off the list. This band is incredible from beginning to end. They react with the crowd and make you, the bride and groom, feel like they have been your best buds for years! Their talent is incredible, but it’s more than that. Of course you want a band that can play and sing, but if you want to check music off your list all while gaining some friends, expert musicians, a worthwhile experience, a memory you won’t soon forget... Groovy7 is the one. You won’t regret it.

super sweet to work with. I never had any trouble getting in contact with them and they were always quick to respond. They were beyond fantastic for the reception. They interacted with our guests for many songs which is what we were wanting. Our dance floor was entirely full for every song. My husband and I were on the dance floor pretty much all night as well. I have had so many people tell me it was the most fun reception they have ever been to and I know this is due to Groovy 7. Several people have told me they are now planning to get them for their upcoming weddings.. so book NOW. You will not regret it!

y 7, we were typing up an email to ask them if they were available on our date. They had such a good energy and were so versatile, that we became anxious about NOT having them play our wedding. Luckily, they were available.
The band was gracious enough to learn a song for us and worked with us on how to arrange the music throughout the night. The set list was a hit!
We were both so pleased with the band and all of our guests raved about their energy and ability. I would recommend them again and again!

If I could give 10 stars I would. We love Groovy 7. From the time I saw them play at another wedding, I knew they had to play at mine. As soon as we got engaged, I contacted Delila...
and got a few 2016 open dates and then booked everything else around them. Then during the planning process, we had a few special requests and Dalila and the group were so accommodating. A friend sang our first dance song and Groovy 7 didn't have the song in their list at that time. They spent time learning the song for us and then spent lots of time with our friend discussing plans and actual audition time making sure it went perfectly and it did. A lot of our guests were from out of town and all night we just kept hearing "where did you find this band? They are amazing!" They kept the dance floor full and it was never a dull moment. I've heard several wedding bands over the years and I don't think any of them compare to Groovy 7. They really are the best around!

night ever! Is there nothing that they can't play??? From the first song to the last they had our wedding guests dancing their butts off all night long. Responsive, easy to work with, professional and incredibly entertaining!! I would recommend them a hundred times over. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I had to have them for my wedding last month. They did not disappoint! They are so talented and easy to work with. They learned our first dance and our father/daughter song, and they both sounded awesome! They also took requests from me at the wedding and played things they had never even played before off the cuff! I danced so hard all night! I am so impressed by them and think they are absolutely worth the price.
