Groovy Sound Productions is a locally owned small business production company providing entertainment for weddings and private events for the DFW metroplex. Since 2003, our number-one priority has been creating an exciting, fun, and inviting atmosphere for you and your loved ones to celebrate your marriage. We listen and take a consultative approach to ensure the music matches exactly what you dreamed of for your wedding. We offer a simple flat fee where our time is unlimited. Our flat fee is based on what you need with no hidden charges. Services Offered DJ Services Groovy Sound Productions has been mixing music for wedding guests for almost 20 years. GSP offers music from a wide variety of genres, including country, electronic, hip-hop, international, jazz, oldies, pop, R&B and soul, rock, and many more. Groovy Sound Productions provides MC, timeline coordination, all of the sound equipment, and microphones (often for the ceremony) for your event. We always include lighting for the dance floor for free. We provide a turnkey service to ensure your wedding is worry-free. To give you some additional assurance, we have Backup equipment, including multiple Mac computers and multiple hard drives on-site. We also carry liability insurance which most venues require. Depending on what is needed, we show up 2-3 hours before the start of your event. In addition to traditional DJ services, we also provide the following; Decorative Uplighting LED uplighting: we have the latest technology, Chauvet LED lights that are 100% wireless. We can match just about any color to warm the room and help set the mood with colored lighting. We can control the lighting and change colors or patterns with an iPad. Photobooth We have a photobooth and we can provide all of the pictures for you at the end of the event. Video DJ Services (music videos) Recently we’ve been getting requests for music videos for a unique wedding reception experience. If you want to do something different that is energetic and adds a visual by playing music videos (on a TV or Projection) for your wedding, just ask us. We have a huge library of music videos of all music genres. Guests dance while they watch their favorite songs, just like in the old days at MTV. We can incorporate nostalgia with music videos from the 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s, 2010s, House, EDM, old school hip hop, hip hop, country, contemporary and more.
