I believe your wedding photographs should feel like a record of how the day actually felt, not a performance created for the camera. I'm Claire, the photographer behind Ground Glass Creative. My background began in film and visual storytelling, and over the years I've worked across photography, commercial production, branded content, and creative direction. Today, I bring that same curiosity, craft, and attention to detail to weddings and elopements. My approach is a balance of observation and intention. I'll guide you when direction makes the photograph stronger, step back when the moment is better left alone, and stay attentive to everything happening around you. I'm looking for the obvious moments, but also the fleeting ones: the people who traveled to be there, the landscape surrounding your celebration, the details you've chosen with care, and all the little things you couldn't have planned. My goal is for you to spend less time thinking about the camera and more time actually living your wedding. Based in Vermont, I photograph weddings and elopements throughout New England and the Northeast, while also working locally in Michigan and North Carolina, and I love traveling wherever your story takes us. Whether you're planning an intimate mountain elopement, a full wedding weekend, or a destination celebration somewhere across the world, we'll create a photography experience that feels personal to you and your plans.
