Groupmuse

GROUPMUSE rocks! This past year after we discovered them, Groupmuse has brought music up close and personal to my partner and I, and enhanced our understanding of each piece performed. I've hired a musician for my upcoming Nov. birthday party and they would be perfect for a wedding celebration, from "classical" to bossa nova, rock, and pop-jazz! My main experience is hosting four musicians in our cozy home where musicians love to offer comments on the history, context, composer, or piece! It's thrilling to sit five feet away from an amazing performer or group and see their smiles and swaying body movements when they are thrilled with a phrase or movement! In our home we can also socialize with the performer and chat afterwards but as you prefer. We've hosted one at our local branch of the public library open to the public (it's very easy with lots of support online to do so at groupmuse.com). We choose our own musicians because we love doing it, messaged the musician, made it as comfy for them and guests as possible, and always make it a party. One performer told me she feels really valued and appreciated and loves to join in the informality afterwards. We've also attended four others held in an art gallery, beauty salon, larger home, and LGBTQ Center.
