We had the pleasure of working with Emily and Michael for our big day in November 2020! It was such an amazing experience. Emily had taken our engagement photos 2 years ago, so we ...
were very excited to work with her again, and were lucky enough to work with her husband, too, for the wedding! Emily and Michael make an incredible team. They captured our vision so beautifully and perfectly. We had a certain idea of what kind of photos we wanted for our wedding, so we shared those ideas with Emily in advance, and needless to say, Emily and Michael executed perfectly. We had the most amazing time working with them, as did our entire wedding party, family, and friends. Our guests were raving about them! When we got our wedding photos from Emily, we were completely blown away. Emily and Michael captured all the special and candid moments, as well as all the details of the whole day. We can't wait to get our wedding photos printed and framed! Communication with Emily has always been a breeze. She is extremely responsive, pays attention to the little details, and delivered our wedding photos to us so quickly! We are so looking forward to working with Emily and Michael again in the future for more special occasions and for family photos! Thank you both for everything!
Emily was fantastic! She was so friendly, kind, and easy to work with. She immediately puts you at ease if you're not comfortable taking pictures. She and her husband are a grea...
t team and very accommodating. They're great at shot suggestions and poses that give great results. The photos are sent to you in a timely fashion and are easily accessible. I would highly recommend her services.
Gruene photography was amazing! Used them for my bridals and wedding and we are in love with the pictures! Everything went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier
Enjoyed working with Gruene Photography! Emily took our engagements, bridals, and our entire wedding day (all while being in her second or third trimester!) She and her husband (se...
cond shooter) were prompt, sweet, reasonably priced, and helped us to follow our wedding timeline. We’re from South Texas, so it was great to have a photographer outside of our normal region. Emily found spots around Gruene that were exactly what we were looking for!
Plus, they are Aggies! 👍🏼
OMG, Emily captured sooo many beautiful moments on our big day! From our first interaction many months before our wedding to our last shot of the evening, she was 100% the BEST cho...
ice for us! We wanted a beautiful country backdrop for our wedding so Gruene was an obvious choice. Being from San Antonio, we wanted to hire a photographer local to Gruene so they’d be able to spend the entire day with us, likely have familiarity with our venue, and know the ideal location for our First Look. Emily and her husband Michael did not disappoint! In spite of accidentally sending her to the wrong salon location (oops!) for pre-wedding shots, she was the sweetest and most calm photographer I’ve ever worked with...and the coolest under pressure! She was never pushy nor does she require any direction. At every precious moment (and even the silly ones), she was present, inconspicuously clicking away. My guests all commented on her hustle too. We even saw her get down on the floor a few times in pursuit of the best shot! And I could tell she was really looking out for me— fixing my hair, makeup, dress, and veil to keep me camera-ready. The album of wedding photos we received was amazing! Weddings can be so chaotic and after it’s all said and done some parts can be a blur. But Emily took so many photos I can relive my wedding day over and over. Emily is someone you can count on 200% to record all the precious memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime. She is punctual, professional, talented, attentive, personable, creative, motivated, and hard-working; everything you want in a wedding photographer! You only get one day to get it right, so do yourself a favor and hire Emily first! The rest of the details can be sorted out later!
Emily is the absolute best! She’s captured everything from our engagements and wedding to newborn pictures in the hospital and milestone shoots. She completely knocks it out of th...

I worked with Gruene Photography as the coordinator this September for a beautiful wedding at Geronimo Oaks. Emily and her team did an awesome job! They took initiatives to get t...
he cutest detailed shots of the bride's personal items, were very aware of the time and what needed to be captured, had the sweetest personalities, and sent photos after the wedding extremely quickly. While I know post wedding editing can take weeks so that the quality is there, she got the bride's pictures done very fast, and for me personally, it was so nice to have a few sneak peek pictures days after the wedding which showed Emily really cared about staying connected with me. Their pictures are beautiful and I recommend clients looking for photography to definetly talk with them!
Emily shot our wedding and blew my expectations out of the water!!! She perfectly captured all of the little moments that I loved, as well as ALLLLL of the fun from our reception!!...
I am still getting compliments on how beautiful our pictures are, almost two years later! I have recommended her to multiple friends, and all of them have said how grateful they are that she was there to capture their special day!! I highly recommend Emily for any and all photography needs!! She’s amazing!!!
Emily and her husband, Michael, make such a great team!!! They are able to get smiles out of adults and kids alike, and they make the shooting process so fun and effortless. Emil...
y has an eye for quality and ensures that shots are aligned before shooting. When ordering a photo album of engagement photos from her, she sent the album back because the photo on the front was not quite centered, rather than sending us an album of lesser quality. Emily is also extremely dependable and responsive. She works with your schedule, and she was able to do my bridal photos just one week after having her baby!!! Amazing!!! Not only are her pictures and quality of work perfection, but she is a truly genuine and fun person to work with and have as part of your events. After having done our engagement, bridal and wedding photos, my husband and I feel like Emily and her husband have become close friends, having been by our sides during the biggest moments of our lives so far! Highly recommend - 10/10!!!

ple and did an amazing job. They are patient, so helpful, and kind and took into consideration all the guest and family to capture everything. The turnaround to get our photos back was much faster than expected also. We could be happier with using Gruene Photography and are in love with all the photos. We look forward to using them again for other events!

The arrival of my wedding dress was pushed back three times, but Emily was able to reschedule my bridal shoot without any issues, and a great attitude. I would recommend doing a bridal shoot because it gave me a chance to get to know Emily and her style a little better.
Before our wedding day, Emily shared a lot of good information like sample shot lists and a day-of timeline. She also answered all one million of my questions via email without complaint.
On our wedding day, Emily and Michael showed up on time, got right to work, and kept going until the night was over. Despite the heat, and a bridal party/family that tend to complain, Michael and Emily stayed positive and meticulously checked off all my requests. Emily was also key to keeping my wedding day on track by helping us follow our day of timeline.
At the end of the day, the pictures are amazing! I would recommend Gruene Photography to anyone hoping to capture something special!

veryone comfortable the day of the wedding, we truly felt like they were part of the family. Emily was very organized and knew what photos she wanted to take, and also has an eye for capturing those special unplanned moments. Additionally, Emily was wonderful to work with over email during the planning process and sends your gallery over an extremely user friendly website (in a timely manner!). The quality of the photos are phenomenal! I cannot recommend Gruene Photography enough!
