Gabi was my lifeline for over the last year that I worked with her. I had a lot of anxiety trying to figure out a 200 guest wedding, but she kept me calm and as collected as I could be throughout the process. From finding me a venue to texting me back for all the tiny little questions I had, Gabi was there guiding me through it all. And she was amazing the day of the wedding, keeping us on track and making absolutely sure we ate lol! I truly appreciate all the help and I highly recommend them as wedding planners/coordinators!
Heather at Guest List Events is a true southern gem and immediately treats you like family! She makes wedding planning less stressful and is a great resource for all your needs. Heather is detail oriented and takes care of all the small details that will make your wedding special. She is so knowledgable and communicates very quickly through text and emails to make sure everyone is on the same page. Weddings are expensive but the value of Guest List Events is very reasonable. My daughter and I could not have done it without Heather's assistance and expertise and she makes it fun!
Heather was such an amazing month of coordinator and provided all of the support we needed for our wedding. She helped us with setting up the signage, borrowing decorations, coordinating with vendors, setting up menus, and putting together all the final details for the wedding. There's a lot of stress in wedding planning, but with Heather everything went smoothly, and she always made sure I was happy every step of the way. She provided ideas for anything I was indecisive about and she helped to remind me of things we might have missed. Heather was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I'm so grateful that we had her there to help. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a month of coordinator since she was a necessity every step of the way leading up to our wedding.
Heather and her team at Guest List should be at the top of your list of vendors to hire for your wedding day. From our first meeting I had a sense of relief about how our wedding would go - from big details to the smallest she had an idea and all the answers! Communication was excellent and she was always on top of things! She has a massive warehouse full of rental items to make your wedding special and picture perfect! My bridal party, family and friend loved having Heather as our planner and wish I had another chance to do it all over again because planning with Heather was so much fun and easy! I promise you won’t be disappointed in using Guest List Events for your wedding day!
Gabi does it all! She is so patient, kind, efficient, and helpful. She kept everything going and stepped in when other vendors fell short. I trust judgment and she is extremely responsive. Please book Gabi! You will be in great hands!
I seriously cannot recommend Heather and her team enough! She was the perfect day of coordinator and helped make sure every detail was well thought out and perfect through the planning process. We had our caterer go bankrupt a month before the wedding and Heather was able to find us an even better caterer to do everything we needed. She helped run a smooth rehearsal dinner, and made sure everything ran perfect day off. If anything went wrong we didn't know about it. She is very knowledgeable and organized. Our wedding day was perfect and I truly believe it's thanks to Heather and her team!
Guest List Events (specifically Heather, the owner) was more amazing than I could have ever imagined a wedding planner to be. Heather was incredibly knowledgeable, ALWAYS had an answer, has amazing connections and relationships with other vendors, and has the best and most bubbly personality that always makes you feel comfortable and excited. She's also very responsive, which is so important in planning a wedding. I am extremely indecisive, and she helped me through every single decision, whether it was something minor and small to the big things. She is very good at reading people and catching on to their vision, she easily knew exactly what I wanted and provided me with guidance on making that come to life. My wedding day was flawless thanks to her and everyone else at GLE. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it! Her goal was to truly help me have the wedding of my dreams and she more than succeeded. I cannot recommend GLE enough for planning your wedding. I wouldn't have gotten through it or had the wedding I did without them. Thank you for everything, Heather and GLE, you helped create a day we will never forget!
Gabi and Heather were an absolute dream team! I simply can't say enough wonderful things about them. Gabi was our primary coordinator and was extremely responsive through calls, text, emails. She was organized, detail oriented, and got things done in a timely manner. We felt like she went above and beyond to make our day stress-free. Our wedding venue only allowed a narrow time slot to set up all the decorations and she did everything beautifully. She listened to every detail that was important to us and made it happen. Also, Guest List Events has a large inventory of decor that saved us a lot of money on decorations.
On our wedding day, she ensured the timeline went smoothly and all the vendors were set up with everything they needed at the correct time. Gabi and Heather were both extremely professional and kind hearted to us and our family/guests. Our first wedding coordinator (unrelated to Guest List events) fell through and left a big job for Gabi to take over at such short notice. After it was all said and done, we both agreed it was a blessing in disguise that we needed a new coordinator and were able to hire Gabi!
Heather was a huge asset throughout my wedding planning and day! She was always available when I had questions with planning and recommended other amazing vendors she worked with in the past. She kept a calm demeanor on my wedding day which had me at ease the whole time. Very positive (which a stressed bride always needs), organized, and fun. She helped me clarify my vision for the day and focused on what was most important. Smoothest day ever. Highly recommend!
Heather is everything you need in a planner! She’s supportive, creative, has a fantastic network and is always on point. We had a multicultural wedding and she helped with literally setting up, tearing down and everything in between. She is the one you want if you want a balance between fun and on schedule. I couldn’t recommend her more, you want a great glitch free wedding, hire her!
Heather was such a pleasure to work with. She is incredibly friendly and professional and very responsive. She went above and beyond in so many ways. Not only was she an amazing planner and day-off coordinator, but she helped SO much with all of those little decorative details that bring it all together. She made welcome signs, bar menus, food menus, printed out pictures for the sign in table, you name it. Heather was easily the best wedding coordinator we could have dreamed of hiring. Highly recommend!!
Heather is absolutely/ exactly what I needed to pull off the biggest surprise of our 36 year marriage. The first wedding my lovely wife wanted her traditional wedding. We were poor as church mice. I wanted to go to Vegas and have Elvis marry us in a chapel. It was traditional, she won. THIS time Heather helped me bring Elvis and the chapel to us. She took my crazy vision and stretched my budget and imagination as far as we could. Professional, timely, caring, and at times stern. She kept me and the surprise alive and safe. It was a complete success: Elvis, full size stand up guitar cake, costumes for the grandkids, and Elvis cookies and guitar picks instead of flower peddles. She even made the chapel area for the ceremony. She came highly recommended and I highly recommend her also. BTW my wife really does not like Elvis but she has not stopped smiling since that night. Thank you Heather for making my "Dream Wedding" a reality!
Heather is the absolute best at what she does! Not only does she work literal magic to make your day turn out exactly like you want, she’s also a therapist! I was freaking out about some of the details and she calmed me down and it all turned out better than I could have imagined!
The months leading up to the wedding she would check in and we would go over everything and that helped so much. Plus, we live 5 hours from DFW and completely relied on her for vendors like flowers, hair, makeup, etc and it all was AMAZING!
I am so thankful for Heather and her vision and expertise to make our wedding day so great.

I need to take a moment to tell you how much your team is appreciated. My daughter’s wedding at Bethel Rock in Leonard was so much better due to the efforts of Gabby and Christine. I don’t know what I would have done without them. Setup was a breeze for me because they literally did it all! They were professional, gracious and just amazing! Packing up at the end of the night was kind of a nightmare and they tried very hard to keep me calm, cool and collected. I will highly recommend your company to anyone needing a day of coordinator!!
When we finally decided to plan our big day we didn't know where to start. We interviewed several wedding planners before making the decision. During the process it was obvious Heather was top-notch, so we booked her immediately! Heather not only has the expertise, but an amazing creative eye and a warehouse full of decor to make any day special. She also connected us with some of most amazing vendors (i.e. Scott Yoder Photography & Rainflorist Designs) that helped contribute to the most memorable day of our lives. Heather found out our vision and ran with it. She planned and executed a flawless event of which we never once stressed over. We could have never done this without Heather and her team!
Heather is the bomb.com! I was an anxious, very nervous bride but Heather was there every step of the way. My now husband did not want me to have a wedding planner because he was so confident that I could do it myself. But, HEATHER definitely showed him that she can handle it ALL! My family loves her, her team, and also the vendors she recommend that I would want to be apart of my wedding! All they could say was “WOW! I pick the right person! She was on top of everything!” My husband groomsmen that’s having a wedding said they wish they had Heather! I can go on and on of how awesome she is! Best wedding planner ever!

Heather and her team completely transformed our untraditional venue space into a BEAUTIFUL wedding venue. Our venue was on private property, so there was a lot of work to be done to make it look like a wedding venue, but Heather and her team made it look so magical! It was more than we could have ever imagined. Heather was extremely flexible and accommodating to our many mishaps, but was extremely professional to where none of our guests knew what had happened. I would HIGHLY recommend paying the extra money to utilize her inventory. It saved us so much stress from DIY’ing anything for our wedding.
Heather is a must have for any wedding or event need. I’ve had the opportunity to witness her magic in multiple events including my own wedding. She will get you exactly what you need and make sure your day is nothing but perfect. She was such a game changer. I told her the idea i wanted and watched her run with it and turned it into a dream. Hiring Heather for my wedding was the best decision I made in the whole process. She was always available and offers a wealth of knowledge on vendors, contracts, and so much more! She even helped me re-plan my wedding after we had to downsize for COVID, and she made the process easy and painless. She decorated our reception venue so beautifully, and managed to keep our second line even though we changed to a backyard ceremony. She also went out to get us a late night snack at the end of the event which did a lot of good for our groomsmen!
We had debated on whether or not to hire a coordinator for our wedding day. Hiring Heather was hands down the best decision we made. From the moment we first met Heather, we could tell she was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and exactly what we were looking for. We wanted someone to handle all of the details day-of so we and our families wouldn't have to worry about it. Heather nailed it.
Even though we only hired Heather to be our day-of coordinator, she was actively involved leading up to our wedding day to ensure that all items and tasks were covered, assigned, and ready to go. If you're debating on hiring a coordinator, hire Heather and thank us later. Seriously can't say enough good things about her.
We hired Heather as a day of coordinator. ATTENTION: even if you want to plan your whole wedding yourself, a day of coordinator is a MUST HAVE!! Therefore you have to have Heather! She literally did everything imaginable from the big things to the smallest details. She acted as our right hand woman and our advocate. She is hardworking and very sweet!! She also always keeps your budget in mind and goes above and beyond. Booking her was one of the smartest decisions we made! No regrets whatsoever, well maybe I shouldn’t have been so type A and had her do more of the planning, would have saved me in a few areas!
Heather was so easy to work with and made our wedding day so stress-free! She was very organized, had thought of every tiny detail , and the things I forgot or didn’t think about — she had already taken care of. I was super impressed with how accessible and flexible she was the week before the wedding especially, and she worked so hard on the wedding day: behind the scenes, setting up, organizing other vendors, and cleaning up at the end of the night. She even put leftover pizzas in our getaway car — which was so appreciated!
I also recommend their decor package. She provided so many things that we would of had to buy and never use again or rent, including napkins, linens, vases, flower girl/ring bearer accessories, and more. Plus their team will help clean up at the end of the night. Which is very helpful!
Heather is the best wedding coordinator if you want your wedding to run smoothly and be absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and had so many good ideas to make our day even better. She is so responsive and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help make our wedding perfect! I highly recommend her and have recommended her to so many of my friends who have also used her!

Heather is a beautiful flower in the wedding planning world! I'm a D.I.Y organized woman, but having Heather on my side for a memorable day, like my wedding was probably one of the best things we invested in for our special day!! (beside my now, husband y'all😉 lol).
From meeting Heather and moving forward with Guest List Events to throughout the year of planning, Heather was there day or night being a first time bride's friend, planner, & decor hero.
Along the way, we had to hit the pause button for about 2 months due to an unexpected family emergency. During that time, Heather was so thoughtful, understanding, and still made me feel like a bride. She always reminded us to have fun with it before the big day. She was prompt about emails or texts, never made me feel rushed or on a time deadline, but helped us enjoy the planning process. She does it all, and it's beautiful when all the pieces comes together! She's a very professional businesswoman, and its her priority to do her best to makes y'all happy. ❤ If I had any concerns, questions, worries, or any "am I doing enoughs" she put those at ease. She recommended wonderful vendors, went to dress appointments when she could, and included any and all decor we wanted for our style of wedding.
We had to make some last minute arrangements due to the weather, being the ceremony was to take place outside, and Heather and her team, made everything still feel so beautiful. We get compliments about how unique, beautiful, elegant, and full of love our wedding day was till now!
With the beginning of Covid-19 making an introduction, Heather was so supportive and calm. She wore so many hats, that wore hats that day, and you can tell she loves what she does and is an inspiration! I truly felt blessed to put such an important day in the hands of such an amazing boss lady like Heather. Heather is absolutely amazing! She is hands down one of the best things my family did for our wedding. She put me at ease on how everything would be put together on the day of and I can’t say enough nice things. She is organized, punctual, detailed, and has a calming and positive presence about her. Heather at Guest List Events truly cares about your wedding! She met with me MANY times throughout the process and was in constant communication with me to answer all of my questions and provide guidance every step of the way. She even stopped in the middle of moving to come meet with me at my wedding venue to do a last minute walkthrough! She has an entire warehouse full of decor that she lets you use for no additional cost, which not only was a huge money saver but also so much fun to go through and pick out!! On my wedding day, my caterer showed up late and Heather (and her assistant) stepped up and made sure everything worked out without anyone noticing. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and exceed my dreams! Heather is the sweetest, most hard-working person and I really can’t express just how thankful and grateful I am for her! Hiring Heather with Guest List Events was absolutely the BEST investment I made for our wedding. Her services were invaluable to us and our families! She took what would have otherwise been an incredibly stressful day and turned it into a beautifully orchestrated event we could sit back and truly enjoy. Having Heather there for the wedding meant that our wedding party and family were not burdened with the responsibilities of decorating, dealing with vendors, or cleaning up! We were able to relax knowing that every detail had been accounted for and that Heather would be ready to handle any situation that could arise. I can’t express how much more enjoyable our wedding was for us, our families, and our guests because of our decision to hire Heather.
During our initial meeting, I knew Heather was the planner I wanted to work with. After talking for just a few minutes, I already felt comfortable with her and she made me feel more excited to begin the planning process! Her experience, creativity, and knowledge of vendors made me confident that my wedding would be in the hands of a professional. In addition to the peace of mind I knew we would get from working with a full-service planner, one of the biggest draws to becoming a Guest List Events Bride was that you have access to their massive inventory of all things wedding decor (Linens, Frames, Lanterns, Wedding Signs, Chargers, Cake Stands, the list goes on)! This was an amazing benefit as it saved us a ton of money and the headache of dealing with all the excess decor after the wedding was over.
If I could give one piece of advice to any engaged couples out there, it would be to hire a professional full-service wedding planner!! (For any couples in the DFW area, look no further than Guest List Events.) I cannot overstate the value of working with Heather throughout all the planning and especially on the day of our wedding. You will invariably invest a ton of time, energy, and money into your wedding. You cannot afford to leave your event to chance or inexperience. Hiring a professional planner is the best way to ensure your wedding runs exactly the way you want it to and that you get to enjoy it as much as possible. Heather created and executed the dream wedding for us and we are confident she could do the same for any couple out there!
I can not say enough good about Guest List Events. Heather is a ball of energy and was always smiling and bouncy when we met. Heather was willing to meet us where ever we needed and when we needed. She kept us on track and organized. She was so much more economical than another planner we interviewed, in fact I feel we underpaid her. She pointed us in directions that saved us money and also we were able to use her decorations at no additional charge (which she has several storerooms full). Heather also coordinated with other vendors and made sure they fulfilled their contracts and were on schedule. Heather and her helper were at the venue from approximately 10:00 a.m. till sometime after midnight (which I think she only sat down to eat dinner for about 15 minutes). It was just Heather and her helper and they had the whole venue decorated beautifully before the 6:00 p.m. wedding. My daughter told me it was the wedding of her dreams and that means the world to us. I like to think that we have made a dear friend and not just a vendor/employee.
I met Heather at a bridal show, and her vendor booth caught my attention because it was decorated so cute! I researched other wedding planners, so I could get different quotes, but in the end I chose Heather because she was affordable and offered so much. Hiring Heather was one of the best decisions I made! She went above and beyond for my wedding, so much so that I felt like I was underpaying her. She met with me several times before my wedding (I only did the partial planner package) and was willing to drive anywhere in the area to meet me. She worked around my work schedule and was super flexible. She has a huge warehouse full of rentals that she lets you use for no additional cost, which saved me so much money. On the day of my wedding she decorated my venue exactly how I imagined it and kept everything running smoothly. We had a couple of minor mishaps and she resolved the issues right away. I can't thank Heather enough for making my wedding day so perfect. Planning a wedding is stressful, but Heather definitely helped relieve some of that stress.
Heather is the absolute BEST person to hire for a wedding coordinator! She should be a MUST HAVE on everyone’s list! Her professionalism along with her warm, bubbly personality make her such a joy to work with. She has such an eye for this stuff and she really goes above and beyond for you. Guest list Events was a life saver. We are a military family and decided to have our wedding in my home state. Heather made all of the planning so easy and the day of the wedding, stress free! She made sure everything was in line and beautiful while I relaxed and took it all in! She is a miracle worker and I couldn’t have imagined our big day without her!

Heather was amazing and very helpful for us! I honestly don't know how our wedding day would have gone if she wasn't there to make sure everything was perfect. She decorated our reception venue beautifully by keeping in mind what I envisioned for the wedding day. She also had great ideas and options that helped this day be amazing. I am beyond grateful for her and for making our day the best day ever! Thank you so much Heather! She also had someone helping her, which I don't remember her name but she was very nice.

My husband and I had the most absolutely perfect wedding day, thanks to Heather and Guest List Events! (If anything actually went wrong, I still have no idea...) Heather joined me after I had gotten many larger parts of the planning accomplished and began to feel overwhelmed by the small details. Heather helped tie together all the beautiful, personal details that made our wedding amazing. Her large inventory of decorations can help bring ANY wedding vision come to life. Heather was so professional, responsive, and a joy to work with; I enjoyed every planning meeting we had! In the end, our wedding felt so individualized, romantic, and special. It’s hard to put into words how much my husband and I liked working with Heather Henson with Guest List Events. From the very beginning she was always so happy and eager to plan, and creativity just flowed through her. She literally turned our wedding day into a fairytale. Every detail was planned out perfectly and she took the very best care of us. She made sure we had a magical time and we were never thirsty or hungry, which I hear is a rarity. Hiring Heather was some of the best money we spent on our wedding! She's professional, detailed-oriented, and has a fun and cheerful personality. She was extremely helpful with last minute details and made sure everything ran smoothly on our special day!

I am absolutely blown away at what Heather does. Our wedding this weekend was nothing short of amazing and I can't contribute that to anyone but her. She dealt with all the vendors, decorated our entire venue, she was a calming voice I could count on for months before my wedding.
We were responsible for everything at our venue (which was perfect) but even better, SHE DID IT ALL. All of the things that I didn't have, which was almost everything, she provided... from vases and lanterns, floating candles and BEAUTIFUL mirrors, to baskets, a wagon for the babies and extra greenery.. I could go on. She pulls out all the stops!!
Truly, she is worth far more than she charges!! I have an will forever recommend her to anyone I know. My day wouldn't have been half of what it was without her!!
