Guido's Restaurant and Tapas

We had our rehearsal dinner at Guido’s in June of 2018 for 40 people and it was PERFECT. Six months before we had scheduled a tasting with the manager Miguel and he actually didn’t show, which was a bad sign, but the restaurant more than made up for it. They let us order whatever we wanted for the tasting and it was entirely complimentary. I’ve lived in Spain and I can tell you the Spanish food and drinks are very authentic, so we were happy to book the space. Over the next few months we worked with Miguel to customize a menu, and he was a great help and very responsive (I totally forgave him for the no-show!). I wanted lots of Spanish food but we also had Italian entrees that Miguel helpfully recommended. We had Spanish tapas as hors d’oeuvres (that two very attentive and professional waiters walked around and offered to people), lasagna and chicken as main courses (the lasagna was a hit!! especially with the kids), paella, and delightful mini-desserts that were beautifully displayed. The food really was incredible, and they boxed up the leftovers for us. So nice! My favorite happy surprise was that Miguel asked me a few days before the event if I wanted flowers on the tables - at no charge. I was like, Sure, how about tulips? And when I arrived, there were at least 10 GORGEOUS tulip-in-square-vase centerpieces. Like, they could have been the centerpieces for my wedding reception. I loved them and I can’t believe they were complimentary. They also had a large TV behind the bar that we plugged our computer into and played a slideshow during hors d’oeuvres, and they had a mic for speeches. It was so great!!! Thank you Miguel and Guido’s!!!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Guido's and it was AMAZING! Our event for 40 people was held in their back room. We worked with Jenifer to coordinate everything from the food/beverage selection to centerpieces. She was very responsive to our questions and listened really well to all we were hoping for. When we arrived for the dinner, everything looked incredible -- even better than we had hoped for! The food was excellent, the centerpieces were lovely, the menus looked great, and the staff was ready to make our event just lovely. They went above and beyond, and when we opened up the night for toasts, they even let us use a mic so that everyone could hear things clearly. All of our guests commented on how nice of a dinner it was and we were so happy with our decision to have our rehearsal dinner at Guido's. Thank you, Guido's!

Miguel, Jennifer, and his team were absolutely outstanding. They hosted our rehearsal dinner this past weekend. The environment was comfortable and intimate, giving us the privacy for our special event that's hard to find on the Hill. Jennifer designed our menus and made sure that the smallest detail was handled without any problem. She was extremely responsive and helpful. They handled our floral arrangements and decor for the evening too, as well as linens, and of course the food...which our guests, many from outside of St. Louis, loved! Thanks Miguel and Jennifer! We worked with Miguel on our rehearsal dinner. Guido's offered an AMAZING menu with incredible food - our guests were beyond impressed! We had a private party room in the back of the restaurant and every detail was perfect. We highly recommend Guido's!
