Guilty Bakery is a wedding baking company based in Plymouth, MA. Owners Amy and Krista adore the opportunity to provide once-in-a-lifetime celebrations with their sensational selection of delicious baked goods. From classic tiered wedding cakes to delicious brownies, they craft every treat from scratch using only the finest ingredients for superior taste and flavor.
Amy and Krista met in 2010 while they were both working for the prestigious Boston-based company The Catered Affair. They quickly bonded over their shared love for baking and creativity, and in 2012, they opened Guilty Bakery on Main Street in downtown Plymouth. Since then, they have provided countless celebrations with one-of-a-kind baked goods that taste as good as they look.
Whatever your wedding dessert vision might look like, the Guilty Bakery team is ready to bring it to life. In your initial 30-minute tasting, you will be invited to outline your preferences and taste a delicious selection of cupcakes and cakes. From there, Ana and Krista will prepare your dream baked-good package, offering a selection of services including decoration, piping, airbrushing, delivery, and more.

We worked with Guilty via our venue; Barker House by Wedgewood weddings. They were great in communicating and enthusiastic about our inspiration and ideas. They were able to bring our ideas to life so simply and I'd use them 100x over again! The cake pops were delicious and a huge hit for our guests.
Guilty Bakery was a pleasure to work with, even when we scaled back some of our choices with them for our wedding. The staff are friendly and personable, and at the bakery when I was picking up my cake samples they helped me get some vegan and gluten-free choices to try for some of our guests! Their pricing is incredibly reasonable for a small bakery, and I would definitely pick up some vegan and gluten-free treats from them again for our next gathering!
We loved working with Guilty Bakery for our wedding cake at our reception at Granite Links. We went with something really simple and then had our florist add fresh flowers. Everyone raved about the vanilla with blonde Oreos flavor we picked. We worked with them to have Gf/DF cupcakes available as well. Would recommend!
Guilty Bakery was incredible! We had our tasting many months before the wedding as we were planning from out of state, and they were so accommodating with our tight schedule. On top of their top class professionalism, our cake and cupcake combination was all I could've asked for and more. They took my inspiration and made it better than I could've imagined. The flavors were truly outstanding - the talk of all of guests! I couldn't have asked for a better bakery to make my simple and flavor filled wedding cake dreams come true. We highly recommend them :)

The team was so friendly at the initial tasting and all of the cake options were delicious! We knew from the moment that we met Amy that we wanted to give Guilty Bakery our business.
They are a growing team so they definitely seem busy, but when I called to check in a week ahead of the event they had everything in line (right in the Christmas rush too!) and the execution for the day of our wedding was 10/10. Thank you to the Guilty Bakery team for baking and designing our beautiful floral pattern cake and being so fantastic to work with!!
Where do I start?! From our tasting to the delivery on the day of our wedding, I have nothing but amazing things to say about this bakery. Our tasting was very relaxed and personable and all of the cake flavors were so wonderful, it was so hard to choose! We booked a 2-tier cake and various other desserts for our sweets table at our wedding. Every single thing was PERFECT. People are still talking about the maple bacon donut holes! They took my cake inspiration photos and made my vision better that I even imagined. They needed no direction the day of the wedding and were always super professional in any communication we had leading up to. If you’re considering Guilty Bakery for your wedding cake/desserts- DO IT!
We ordered a 4 tier wedding cake from Guilty Bakery with 4 flavors. The tasting at their kitchen was so much fun! We got to try a good assortment and the team was really helpful with our questions. We were happy and surprised to realize that a larger cake was in our budget! Our guests loved the cake, and it was very beautiful! I highly recommend Guilty Bakery for your wedding cake!
We got our wedding cake through Guilty Bakery and absolutely loved it! We went to their Hanover location for our cake tasting where we got to try 6 of their most popular event cake flavors and they were all absolutely delicious - it was very hard to decide what to choose! We talked through design options and ended up going with a 4 tier lemon raspberry cake. They were even able to incorporate some extra faux florals that we were using as decorations for our wedding so it visually fit in very naturally at the venue. Our guests were raving about the cake all night and we were so lucky our venue partnered with Guilty Bakery to ensure we had the best night ever!
Literally the best funfetti wedding cake I have ever had. Guilty bakery crushed it and were so easy to work with! Our cake was stunning and exactly what we envisioned.

Guilty bakery NAILED my wedding cake dreams! They were able to make EXACTLY what I asked for. I wanted glazed donuts on tiers with a 6 inch cake on top for the sake of "cutting the cake". I supplied the tiers to my wedding venue, and they showed up to set up the entire thing include the intertwinement of baby breathes. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you Guilty Bakery Plymouth!
Overall had an exceptional experience with Guilty Bakery. Most of our wedding planning was done from out of state and we decided to go with the vendor based off the reviews alone, without even trying the cake flavors first! When we finally did a tasting, we were given a to-go box of a bunch of different flavors of our choosing and they ended up all being delicious, which certainly made the decision more difficult. We ended up going with the lemon berry cake and it did not disappoint. Throughout the whole design process they were flexible with our decisions and upfront about pricing. The cake was delivered on time and it was so beautiful and delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great wedding cake vendor.
Two words: PARTY BARS! We ordered enough dessert for 150 people... long story short we only had about a 50 person wedding and the desserts were almost all gone!! With a last minute delivery address change and the power out days leading up to the wedding, Guilty Bakery did not miss a beat! The cupcakes and party bars were to die for and we were so happy with everything!
This bakery is amazing. When we were deciding what cake flavor to choose, we could not decide because they were all so good. We even did a ranking system with multiple people involved but everyone favored a different flavor. Therefore, instead of a cake, we decided to do a bunch of cupcakes in different flavors and our guests loved them. There were more than enough to go around. Additionally, we got a small cake that was gorgeous! We did not give much design direction so were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the cake was (and also delicious)!
Krista and Amy at Guilty Bakery were so wonderful to work with. From tasting to booking and selecting desserts, Guilty Bakery made the process so easy and fun. They delivered exactly what I was looking for with my cake design, and worked with my florist in the day of the wedding to decorate the cake. Most important, the desserts were DELICIOUS. Our guests were raving about the cake, party bars, and cookie sandwiches. I highly recommend Guilty Bakery!
We did a dessert bar and small wedding cake for our wedding day and Guilty Bakery went above and beyond. The desserts were fantastic and everyone could not stop raving about them. Our cake, was so beautiful I almost did not want to cut into it, but when I remembered there was the delicious funfetti inside, we just had to! From the amazing customer service and the extraordinary attention to detail and taste, we are so incredibly happy that Guilty Bakery was the "sweetest" part of our wedding day!

So perfect that I had a cousin immediately reach out so that she could order one for a birthday party! We saved our top tier, so we are so looking forward to getting to taste it again. Responsive and professional. The cake was delicious and everyone raved about it! They even made cake tasting possible during a pandemic with a take home option!
We decided not to let the pandemic get the best of us, and opted for a somewhat last minute, intimate wedding celebration on NYE. We live on the South Shore and I follow a gluten sensitive diet. In searching for a wedding cake we wanted to include both a traditional and GS tier without compromising taste. Guilty Bakery was an obvious option for us, having enjoyed their treats before. They offered us a take home, pandemic friendly, tasting of 6 flavor options. Choosing Guilty Bakery was an easy decision, even if choosing flavors was tough! We were very happy with the beautiful design and quality of our delicious cake, and also ordered a small take home anniversary cake in red velvet. We also opted to utilize a specialty of Guilty Bakery, and ordered french macarons packaged as favors. Our guests were delighted with them. The ladies of Guilty Bakery were very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Guilty Bakery for celebration cakes or tasty treats anytime!
Highly recommend for your wedding cake! We had a small cake for our ceremony this year, and it was so light and delicious that even our diet-friendly family members were raving about the cake. The quality of their cake and frosting is truly distinct in its freshness and flavor, and the presentation of the cake was beautiful as well. The team was incredibly easy to work with both pre-COVID and during COVID. While we were not able to have an in-person tasting due to COVID guidelines, it was incredibly easy to set up a take-home tasting and such a great idea to present the cakes and frostings separately so that we could try a variety of combinations. Overall I would highly recommend for your wedding cake and can't wait to have some more cake for our 2021 reception!
We used Guilty Bakery for our wedding cake - and needless to say, we were not disappointed!! From our very first email, the team was extremely responsive and so easy to work with. Because of the pandemic we couldn’t do anything “in person” but from the tasting to all my emails with questions about sizes and flavors and changing delivery locations and times - they were extremely accommodating and so friendly. And most importantly the cake was delicious and all of our guests were raving about it. Will definitely use this bakery whenever we are in the area and in need of something yummy!
We used Guilty Bakery for our wedding in Newport, RI in September!! I had eaten their desserts before but never had wedding cakes. I gave them pretty much free range on design and they made the most BEAUTIFUL cakes I had ever seen. They decided on 3 smaller instead of 1 large cake and they all were so beautiful and went with out entire theme. Not only were they gorgeous but hands down the best funfetti cake I have ever had in my life. I still think about how delicious the cakes were and cannot wait to order from them again!!
Guilty Bakery was an absolute joy to work with! We had so much fun at the tasting - so hard to pick a flavor because they were all delicious. We ended up choosing two flavors and the cake turned out perfect. It looked beautiful and tasted even better :) Thank you, ladies, for doing such a great job!
Amy & Krista were a joy to work with and they are exceptionally talented. They took our random collection of ideas for a unique theme and delivered a gorgeous wedding cake beyond our imagination. Every detail was perfect and the cake was delicious! Especially the gluten-free top tier for me. We will definitely be ordering from them for other occasions.
I was so pleased to work with this adorable women-owned business for my wedding! My fiance and I met with Krista for our tasting, and she was always very responsive to our emails and questions. Krista and her team were able to accommodate our ask for a gluten-free cake with no problem, and we chose a chocolate cake with vanilla mousse and French macarons. The result was absolutely fantastic! I would definitely work with Guilty Bakery again and highly recommend their treats!!
Absolutely delicious cakes and cookies! We had the best time at our cake tasting. We chose the funfetti, coffee Oreo, and red velvet. We also got chocolate chip, double chocolate and oatmeal raisin cookies! I will 100% be going back whenever I am feeling reminiscent about the wedding!
We used Guilty Bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes - and it was amazing. We went in for a tasting and sampled a number of different flavors, every one of which was SO good. Amy and Krista listened to everything we were thinking of doing, asked great questions and showed us what they could do to meet our budget and preferences. The two-tier funfetti cake was delicious and looked exactly like what I was imagining. The mini cupcakes were a huge hit with our guests and flew off the table! Thank you guys! We’ll be back soon for sure!
We LOVED working with the ladies of Guilty Bakery. They created a beautiful three tier semi-naked cake for us for our wedding day which our florist then decorated with fresh flowers - it fit our rustic wedding theme perfectly. They were also able to make the top two layers a chocolate vegan flavor with vegan vanilla frosting, which allowed me to enjoy our cake! Guests raved about the cake (and had no idea it was vegan). The petite desserts they provided for our dessert table were also beautiful and went very quickly! In addition, the ladies were SO easy and professional to communicate with - they answered every question we had, and were so nice to meet in person during our tasting. We can't wait to work with them for another event in the future!
Excellent! Amy and Krista are always a pleasure to work with. I first had Amy and Krista make a custom birthday cake and it was so good that I knew they would be the ones for our wedding cake. The cake was done beautifully, arrived in perfect condition, and the flavors of their cakes are my favorite. The signature flavor is sweet but not too sweet, and we had a custom made mississippi mud pie flavor that was spot on!
We will definitely use them for many future events!

Not only was it super delicious (light, not too sweet, the perfect amount of frosting), but it was so gorgeous. I couldn't stop looking at it all night!
We only wish we got to eat more of it, but we will definitely be going back to Guilty Bakery again and again. Amy and Krista were so easy to work and completely understood what we were looking for. They went above and beyond, and they were so responsive via email which was great, and really put us at ease.

We chose Guilty Bakery for our November 3, 2018 wedding and was so happy that we did. Our vision was simple, a small naked type cake with greenery around the base. Upon contacting Guilty Bakery, they did not have any openings for a cake tasting but the great thing was you can actually choose your own flavors via e-mail, and pick them up and do a taste testing in your own home! We went with a vanilla cake, with coffee Oreo filling, and buttercream frosting. Not only did the actual cake not disappoint, the look of the cake was so simple but they made it appear so elegant, which was our vision. We then also added their apple cider doughnuts, which our guests continue to rave about. We would highly recommend Guilty Bakery for any occasion, as they are super professional, easy to work with, and overall spectacular.

Choosing a cake vendor was one of the most difficult parts of the wedding planning process for me (the bride :)). Guilty ended up being our top choice because of their many flavors (ALL super delicious), willingness to work with us to create our dream design (all via email and phone, as we were planning out of state and unable to sit down together in-person), and great value. Communication was sometimes a bit difficult (but I understood this a bit better when my family and I visited their small, busy shop in-person). I also wish the groom and I had had the opportunity to taste more of the different layers (each was a different flavor) but we look forward to enjoying our topper on our first anniversary!

Guilty bakery was a hit at our wedding. We did cupcakes for our wedding! We walked away with very little left over due to our guests enjoying multiple flavors of mini cup cakes. Amy was such a joy to work with and was a true professional. The price was great and service couldn't be beat! We will be going back to them in the future for more celebrations!

Guilty Bakery has the most delicious cupcakes! We used them for our wedding at 1620 Winery in Plymouth, MA. We had an amazing tasting in their shop and were some how able to narrow down our cupcake flavors to 4 different ones. Everyone at our wedding loved the mini cupcakes, having a couple each was a great treat. I would definitely use them for another special event!
I have loved Guilty Bakery since I found them. When we first connected and I told them we were planning our wedding in 4 months, they were so good at getting us a tasting spot quickly. The tasting was absolutely fabulous. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed all of the cakes and frostings. We decided on a variety of mini cupcakes and a small three-tiered chocolate hazelnut naked cake. Our guests raved about the flavors of both the cake and the cupcakes and the cake couldn't have been more stunning. They used leftover flowers from our florist to decorate the cake and it looked absolutely perfect. I plan on using Guilty Bakery for all of my future treat needs, whether that is for birthday cakes, Thanksgiving desserts, Christmas Cookies or just a little pick-me-up. :)
Guilty Bakery is the best! They provided mini cupcakes for my wedding this summer, and they were absolutely perfect. It was so difficult to choose flavors for our wedding day, because during our cake tasting every flavor was out of this world! They were even able to make some flavors gluten free, which was a huge plus for me, since I have celiac disease. I overheard guests at our wedding say how amazing the cupcakes were, which only solidified my satisfaction. The team at guilty bakery were kind, professional, and obviously very talented. I highly recommended them for your wedding!
We ordered 200 mini cupcakes for our wedding this past weekend in 4 different flavors and had so many compliments on them! They were all delicious and we loved that they were able to accommodate our request to have one of the cupcakes veganized (chocolate peanut butter!). We had the chocolate peanut butter, strawberry shortcake, coffee oreo and coconut lemon and they were all a huge hit!!
Krista and Amy were a pleasure to work with! They made a customized 5 tier cake for my September wedding. We couldn't get over the cake tasting and knew we had found the right bakery! Their shop is so cute, it is a must visit if you're in the Plymouth area! I highly recommend Guilty Bakery for all your cake and sweet treat needs!
