Our Story?
We started as a food cart, and now we're here! Lifelong friends Robin and Jesse opened The Gumba food cart after years of talking about owning a business together. They took a leap of faith in 2016, with a menu of just three items written on a paper bag. Since then, the company has expanded into a full brick-and-mortar location with homemade pastas, delicious fry bread, craft cocktails, and a killer team running the show.
Catering and Events
We've since had the opportunity to cater a whole bunch of events, both in Portland and the surrounding area. Whether you're having a small, local get-together or a larger event in wine country or the gorge, we would be honored to help out! We offer a variety of catering services, including bar service, for any event. Your meal can be arranged as a buffet or family-style event, replete with flavorful pastas and entrees like eggplant parmigiana or braised chicken and faro.
