The Band has 6 members on stage and our audio engineer is a GRAMMY Award winning recording engineer. GUN POWDER SOUP provides a lot of service for each show and our sound, lights, professionalism, and entertainment are above other band standards. e song and they did a fantastic job on the song. Well worth the money. They played songs all ages know so we had all ages dancing all night. They are professional throughout all stages of the booking and performance process. My now husband’s only request was a live band for the wedding because he thought there cannot be a party without a live band. Well, there is no wedding reception without Gunpowder Soup, they are exceptional. I researched numerous bands on the internet and eventually found Gunpowder Soup. It is hard to find a band on the internet because whoever can manipulate the video's voice, instrumentation, etc. to make the band sound good. However, I knew after listening to Gunpowder Soup’s videos, especially their KSAT television video, they had real talent and it definitely showed on our wedding night. I highly recommend this band for your wedding night or any event.

Their rates are wonderful and the communication between Jeanine and I couldn’t have been any better! I would call with a question and she was always available to visit with me and put my mind at ease on anything to do with the music for the wedding and reception! They showed up many hours before the wedding to set up and they looked great! The interaction with the people was spot on as they kept the party going by getting folks to sing along and play the tambourines and the cow bells, which my husband was given his own cow bell to play from a good friend of ours! As an added bonus, the band flawlessly edited our first dance song so that it wasn't too long but the edits weren't obvious. Their music was fantastic. We expected as much. Their flexible was astonishing. It couldn't be replaced. The enthusiasm and crowd engagement turned an otherwise typical wedding dance into a topic of conversation.
