e final farewell at the end of the evening, everything ran like a well-oiled machine—thanks in large part to the incredible team behind the scenes. First and foremost, Denise and Gretchen were beyond wonderful to work with. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine excitement for what they do made all the difference. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re juggling logistics, timelines, and unpredictable weather, but Denise and Gretchen made the process feel effortless. They were organized, responsive, and always willing to answer questions—no matter how big or small. Any time we needed clarification, a quick update, or reassurance, they were there with thoughtful guidance and practical solutions. Their support gave us total peace of mind, and we always felt like we were in the most capable hands. And then—the view. Wow. There’s just no comparison to standing at the top of Gunstock, surrounded by sweeping, panoramic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding mountains. It’s breathtaking in the most literal sense. Whether you’re a local who knows the area well or a guest seeing it for the first time, the view from the summit is absolutely unforgettable. The scenic lift ride up added a magical touch, especially for those who had never been on the mountain before—it felt like a true escape into nature. The event itself went off without a hitch. Every detail was handled with care and precision. It genuinely felt like the entire Gunstock team had thought of everything—timing, layout, flow, signage, accessibility, and guest needs. They worked seamlessly with our vendors and made sure the setup was exactly how we envisioned it. There were moments where we fully expected to be troubleshooting something behind the scenes, but the team had already anticipated it and handled it before we even noticed. That kind of behind-the-scenes magic is what really sets a venue apart. Dinner was phenomenal. We received so many compliments from our guests about the quality of the food, the presentation, and the service. It’s rare to find a venue with stunning views and great food, but Gunstock delivers on both fronts. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared, from cocktail hour through dessert. Another huge plus: the atmosphere. Gunstock strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and polished comfort. It feels grounded and natural without sacrificing any of the elegance or structure you want for a special event. The mountain lodge and surrounding grounds provide so many options for photos, mingling, and enjoying the outdoors—it’s just a joyful, welcoming place to be. We’re genuinely so happy we chose to celebrate here. It felt personal, meaningful, and unique. Gunstock gave us everything we hoped for and more. If you’re considering this venue—do it. You won’t find a more scenic, accommodating, or professional team than what Denise, Gretchen, and the rest of the Gunstock crew offer. sure everything ran smoothly on the day of. The venue was gorgeous - the main lodge where we held the reception was beautifully decorated and spacious. We elected to have our ceremony on the summit and were particularly impressed by how smoothly moving everyone up and down the mountain using the ski lifts went. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was particularly accommodating with regards to stocking the bar, choosing a menu, and everything else. Small touches, like packing us large helpings of food to go since they knew we would be too busy to eat the entire night, made us feel especially taken care of. It goes without saying that Gunstock’s mountain scenery, especially in the fall, is absolutely stunning. But beyond that, everyone we worked with was remarkably friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make our day truly special. We DIY’ed a large portion of our wedding and were trying to strictly stay under budget – Gunstock helped us do so while pulling off a wedding which people assumed was twice as expensive. I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone – the staff, value, and setting are unmatched.

did have many questions and concerns. Every time I spoke to her, she eased my mind and made everything so simple. I think I asked for an odd request of where I wanted everybody to be seated, and the whole team worked with me to make it work. Finally, the rehearsal dinner everything went wonderful. I forgot the champagne toast and they accommodated me at the last minute. All of my guests raved about the food. Gunstock, you did a wonderful job and went above and beyond I thank you!!
