mer Service at its finest! The beachfront balcony room is peaceful and quiet, and offers an EXTRAORDINARY expansive view of the Lake and mountains. We went in the off season in late March and felt as though we had a secluded private beachfront retreat. There is a fireplace in the room which enhances the overall experience of warmth and invitation. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, and the shower is brand new with dreamlike water pressure. These elements make for a perfect respite and return after long days hiking in nature. The location is close to downtown with excellent dinner options (McP’s offers nightly live music until 11 pm and we saw three really excellent musicians three nights in a row). And the location is also somewhat removed from the main road to retain the quiet and peace. The lodge is only about 30 minutes from East Lake Tahoe and its pristine turquoise waters. We cannot wait to return again and again. Photos show the view from the beachfront room.

l, friendly and knowledgeable. The triple threat of costumer service! Courtney helped book my stay over the phone and weny above and beyond. I also connected with someone cleaning their coffee station, joking she was in "mom mode" and she was just sweet as can be be I didn't catch her name. When housekeeping came by, again, I was blown away with their service. If I was managing this place (and I have some that before), I would be super happy with my employees. Especially Cheyenne, she is next level. 10/10 all the way. This place is amazing.

ng too serious. Toilet was clogged upon arrival, but they immediately sent maintenance to fix it. There was a piece of trash left on the bathroom counter, and the AC/heating unit didn’t turn off unless you unplugged it. The rooms also don’t come equipped with a microwave, which was a bummer, but there’s one in the lobby for guests to use. Aside from that, the room was nice and spacious. There was a gas fireplace in the room that was amazing and worked great. There is a small beach behind the hotel so we could check out the lake and take walks near the water, it was beautiful. At night time they have several fire pits going outside and the front desk gives you smores kits, which was a super cute (and yummy) touch. They have a restaurant/bar in the lobby that is fairly priced and offers good food. The woman working the restaurant, Tamara, was incredibly sweet and helpful. She was running the entire restaurant/bar solo, but was smiling and friendly to everyone who came in. WiFi was strong, which was helpful cause I had bad phone reception everywhere I went. The hotel is pet friendly and lots of people had their dogs with them, so if that’s not your style I’d definitely keep that in mind. Very family friendly location, overall we had a great experience and would be willing to stay here again.

ve ever stayed in, with a weird layout, tons of wasted space, dim and inadequate lighting, and only 1 bathroom - although there was a sink in one of the closets. As I said - weird. Far more concerning was that when my husband plugged his computer into a wall socket the lights in the bedroom started to flicker. There are several reasons this could happen, and all of them are unsafe electrically. This remained consistent throughout our stay. We brought it to the attention of management, who informed us that no electrician would be available until the following Monday - after our stay. They would not move us to a safer room, and although my complaint was listened to politely there was no action taken. The service was inconsistent at best. We made some not-very-complicated requests, such as an extra lamp or more hangers, and had to make all of those requests at least twice. Although the location is great and some of the amenities are good, I recommend that you stay elsewhere.
