ver her wedding photos. Our first initial meeting was incredible, to say the least. We immediately paid for our wedding package and booked our engagement session within 30 min of meeting with her face to face. Her easy going & fun personality had us hooked! We knew then and there she was the one we trusted to capture our big day. She and her team were so helpful in answering any and all questions that we had and even encouraged us to keep in contact! When our big day finally arrived, her and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND helping to ensure our day was perfect. Even when I was mess over my grooms pants being too short, Jessica and her teammate Jo never had anything but a smile and a “we will handle this” attitude. She had me in stitches more than once, and let me tell you this photographer has an amazing sense of humor and an infectious laugh! You will NOT be disappointed hiring Gutzman photography for you wedding. Our family will now only go to Gutzman photography!

my photographer. Worst mistake of mine during the entire wedding planning process. We had gotten engaged in December. I booked her by April. She was booked before we had even decided on a venue. I wanted my pictures to turn out great. However; when booking her I told her that we were set on Fall pictures for our engagement session. She wrote this on our contract. I contacted her in late august/early sept. to talk about our engagement session and what things I thought I wanted to do for it. She said that she could not get us in until January. We did not want a winter engagement session. This was not something we ever even talked about. She said that she couldn't accomodate us. We owed her the 30% down. We provided her with $400 upfront and then we gave her 200 more hundred before finding out she didn't have any open slots. She was not easy to talk to at all. She told me that I was one out of 20 other brides that she has for the year. She was not willing to give me money off of my package. I asked for money back on the most expensive package she offers, only because I knew that since she was not going to be providing the engagement session that we had discussed when first booking her then I would have to go somewhere else. A few days later she had posted on her fan page on facebook that she was offering mini sessions. I had questioned why she couldn't fit us in if she was able to do mini sessions for others. She said that this was supposed to be a few of her scheduled days off, but decided to work it. I questioned if we could be in one of these slots. She declined. She was not willing to accommodate us in any way. Needless to say I went with a different photographer for my engagement pictures. They turned out great, so we decided to fire Jessica for our wedding and go with the other one that was more excited about taking our pictures and showed us that she cared about our business. We loved the way our pictures turned out. Jessica was not professional. We did not get our 30% back. Booking her initial was the worst mistake out of our wedding planning process. I don't think she was ever taught customers first. Clearly we did not. Don't waste your money. Wish someone would have told me not to.

my ideas and made sure to incorporate as many of them as possible the day of our wedding, and was truly wonderful. She'll have no problem getting your bridal party organized, keeping them in line, and keeping things moving to get pictures done in a timely fashion. She is extremely patient with everyone, especially mothers who keep saying "oh get a picture of these people"... speaking hypothetically! :)
