I have fallen in love with weddings! What's not to love when there's so much positivity in the air. My journey started when a friend asked me to officiate their wedding and, bam, I was hooked. I have been in education for 25+ years, most recently as a principal, and have always loved helping students and families with the major transitions of their lives. To me, helping you make your wedding the perfect day to begin your lives together is such an honor and privilege. I love it!

We are glad we waited because he created a beautiful version that made the day so much more special and allowed us to settle in and be present before saying our own written vows. We appreciate everything that Guy did to make the day truly feel special and remarkable. We thank him for going above and beyond and telling our story the way that we truly felt like it happened. He didn’t just ask surface-level questions; he was genuinely curious about our individual journeys, values, quirks, and the story that led us to each other. Because of that investment, he created a ceremony that was deeply thoughtful, culturally rich, poetic, and true to who we are. Guy started with a ceremony outline he had developed, and then he invited us to make it our own. We asked to incorporate three poem readings, spiritual reflections, music, and an African water libation ceremony to honor our families and ancestors. Not only was he open to all of it, he was excited! He helped us integrate these elements so they flowed beautifully, and he guided us with clear timelines so everything was finalized well before our January 2026 wedding date. On the day of the wedding, he delivered the ceremony with warmth, presence, and storytelling that felt like it came from someone who had known us for years. The ceremony was intimate, elegant, and full of meaning. The best part? Afterward, our families were amazed. he guided us through so many choices. I was so against writing our own vows mostly because I knew I would be nervous and emotional, but he gave me tips and calmed my nerves. Our vows turned out to be the best part, even if I did get my makeup ruined by a few tears! One funny thing that happened was we were supposed to have confetti cannons go off during the kiss, but they mistakenly went off during the rings. Guy made a joke about how exchanging rings has never been so exciting and that just turned the moment into a sweet amd hilarious memory.
