Trevor was the best DJ! We used him for our anniversary party and he was so helpful in shaping the event to be what we wanted. His online system is very thorough and allowed my husband and I to talk through all of our options on our time. Trevor then took the time to talk with me on the phone(multiple times!) to make sure everything was to our liking and we were all on the same page.
He came early and went out of his way to set up dance lights around the room that really elevated the mood for the whole party.
It’s a month after our party and still people are going out of their way to tell me how much they loved the DJ! I cannot recommend Trevor highly enough!

My wife and I went to a few weddings in 2025 and and their dj’s were subpar and I was worried ours would be too. Trevor began working events in 1998, assisting another DJ while learning the ropes. After a couple years, he began doing events on his own. He later moved to a large DJ company where he worked full time both in sales and as an entertainer. He loved the job, but wanted to spend more time preparing and planning for each event. Working several events per week earned him great experience, but Trevor preferred a quality over quantity approach. Today, Trevor owns Gwin Entertainment. He devotes lots of personal attention and planning time to each client, ensuring fun, smoothly flowing celebrations!

as well as options for lighting services. The website he uses is very thorough, and planning with him was such a breeze. Trevor is very personable and kind. On our actual wedding date we were so pleased with the work he did. The way he speaks to the crowd is so charismatic and charming. The lighting he provided was magical to our event. He did wonderful during our reception introductions and our special dances, especially the tribute dance for my late father that meant so much to my family and myself. He is overall an amazing emcee and kept the party going all night. The only reason people stopped dancing for a short instance was because Trevor tired us out 😆. However, he was always able to get people moving on the dance floor. Our guests raved about Trevor and said he's one of the best DJs they've seen. What a wonderful person and you will be so lucky to book him for your special event. Thank you so much for everything Trevor and wishing you the best!

We let him choose the music throughout the night as he deemed appropriate, and it made for a great night of dancing (He even got the people in my family who don't dance up on the dancefloor). eddings, dances, soirées, balls, and more… and no one even comes close to how good Trevor was. He is what a DJ ought to be. Let me give you some reasons!
We had a long introductory call and he told me exactly how the process would look, pricing for different packages, and listened to my needs and desires.
Then he stayed in touch as the months went on, in addition to supplying us with a fantastic website for planning events. The site also has features which recommends song choices for the special events. That’s how I chose my father/daughter dance and my husband chose his son/mother dance!
Then at the wedding, when it all comes to a climax! Trevor engaged everybody in the crowd, played a wonderful selection of music, and mc’d perfectly. His transitions were awesome and kept us on our feet, in a good way!
My granma (who holds high standards) told me more than one time now it is the best wedding she has been to, and that the music was just wonderful. I not only heard that from her, but peers as well! Which speaks to how well Trevor caters to a crowd.
He ran with some last minute requests that I made for activities and made us feel like this really was our show to run and he was there to support however needed. Which was beautiful to have.
TLDR; Trevor is amazing not only with music selections/timing but also with all the intangibles that makes a DJ stellar.

We also had live music for the ceremony and Trevor kept in contact with them and what equipment he would have for them. He arrived early and made sure all his equipment was set up probably. I loved this part because we could choose certain songs we definitely wanted, some that we wanted to play if possible, and even a do not play list. Once our date got closer we met with Trevor in person. He is super friendly and helpful with any questions or if you need suggestions for any song/music choices. Because of his experience in the local area, he helped us connect with other vendors and saved us a lost morning when he noticed an incorrect address for our next vendor. He called them and coordinated an update that saved all of us a lot of wandering.

go along with different parts of the wedding (bouquet toss, garter removal, garter toss, etc). He had different sound systems for each room of our venue (we had ceremony in one location, cocktail hour outside in a courtyard, and reception in a ballroom), and he set up the sound systems before the event so no one had to see him running back and forth with equipment or cords. It was flawless! He was able to customize our processional song so it was longer. He is an excellent trouble-shooter! Seating took longer than anticipated and Trevor had additional music on hand to extend the music associated with the seating/ushering time. We had a belly dancer and she sent him her music files and he had them all queued up for her to make a dramatic entrance! Our wedding was so much fun and people were on the dance floor for the entire night!! Trevor was a fantastic MC as well! He called ahead to go over the pronunciations of all of our wedding party names. He also provided uplighting. I was happy with the effect the lights had but they were pink and I specifically asked for white or offwhite. We just went with it and it looked lovely anyway 😊 In summary, we really felt very confident in Trevor’s abilities and our wedding was just like we dreamed it would be - perfect!!

We had a couple of unique requests, one of which was playing Richard Cheese during dinner, and he was completely game and excited about it. He ran with it and people absolutely loved it! He followed our request to a T, just subtle background music that if people started to pay attention they would get a good laugh in. We got so many compliments on our dinner music as well as during the dancing. He read the crowd perfectly.
After the first dance, Trevor called every one up to the dance floor and people swarmed! A number of people came up to me and said: A. They had never seen so many people actually go to the dance floor when a DJ opened it and B. this was the first time they had been asked by their spouses to dance! I am not a dancer by and stretch of the imagination but the playlist was infectious, I think I danced more Sunday night than I ever have in my entire life. His package also came with a lighting tree which was not your typical DJ lights because he had it synced up to the music so even the lights were dancing along to the beat. It was awesome. However, my favorite moment of the night was when he played our last song “Don’t Stop Believing” (it was one of my must plays lol) we had pretty much everyone left on the dance floor singing at the top of their lungs having a blast, it was an unforgettable moment.
He also has a great website/program that you can input your time line and vital information for him but also you can see his entire music library and select must play, do not play and requests.
I would recommend Gwin Entertainment to any one, he reasonably priced and the experience is priceless.

Trevor was great! I just got married and he made everything so easy for us. We sat down and met with him once to make our final plans he helped us choose music and also played all ...
the songs we had requested still making everything smooth. It was a blast we are so thankful to have Trevor from the mics and the lights he had everything and made it less for us to have to worry about. We had no complaints definitely would recommend him!
