Trevor was awesome! He reached out early to get a sense of what we were looking for. He has an online system that made it easy to put all the info in and keep it up to date with what we were thinking. He had good advice about timeline for the wedding reception and was very flexible with any special asks we had. The package we got included some lighting, and he executed really well on it in our space. His system sounded great. He kept up with our very age-diverse crowd's tastes and was a pleasant host personality. During the reception, he came to check in with us and our organizers at sensible and thoughtful intervals. He is really chill and seems like he's very comfortable doing his job!

Trevor made planning our wedding ceremony and reception a breeze. From custom mixes for songs, blending music perfectly, and a few last minute switches, he was absolutely phenomenal. He was available to answer all of the questions we had as we were thinking through things and was friendly, professional, flexible, and gave great advice. He also provided some extra lighting that really just helped to tie the entire reception space together and really made it feel like a blast. Trevor played a great blend of music to get all of our guests out on the dance floor and having a great time. One of my friends even said her date was dancing and he never dances at events! We cannot recommend Trevor enough to anyone planning a wedding!

Trevor is wonderful!! He was very proactive in communicating with us and very organized during the planning. So much so that I feel he did a better job than my day-of coordinator! We let him choose the music throughout the night as he deemed appropriate, and it made for a great night of dancing (He even got the people in my family who don't dance up on the dancefloor). He also did a wonderful job with introductions and making announcements as the night went on. Honestly, I feel like he's one of the main reasons our reception turned out to be such a great night. I’ve been to lots of weddings, dances, soirées, balls, and more… and no one even comes close to how good Trevor was. He is what a DJ ought to be. Let me give you some reasons! We had a long introductory call and he told me exactly how the process would look, pricing for different packages, and listened to my needs and desires. Then he stayed in touch as the months went on, in addition to supplying us with a fantastic website for planning events. The site also has features which recommends song choices for the special events. That’s how I chose my father/daughter dance and my husband chose his son/mother dance! Then at the wedding, when it all comes to a climax! Trevor engaged everybody in the crowd, played a wonderful selection of music, and mc’d perfectly. His transitions were awesome and kept us on our feet, in a good way! My granma (who holds high standards) told me more than one time now it is the best wedding she has been to, and that the music was just wonderful. I not only heard that from her, but peers as well! Which speaks to how well Trevor caters to a crowd. He ran with some last minute requests that I made for activities and made us feel like this really was our show to run and he was there to support however needed. Which was beautiful to have. TLDR; Trevor is amazing not only with music selections/timing but also with all the intangibles that makes a DJ stellar.

We met with Trevor back in 2019 when we were planning our wedding for May 2020. Covid hit and we quickly had to postpone to October of that year. Trevor unfortunelty was not available but was fast to find someone to cover for him. Unfortunelty covid was still around October 2020 so we decided to wait another year and planned for October 2021. Trevor was very understanding and worked with us during all the craziness. October finally came and we got our dream wedding. Trevor was amazing. He played exactly what we asked for. I was worried people wouldn't dance, but Trevor was definitely able to get everyone out on the dance floor. I highly recommend Trevor and promise you will not be disappointed.

We choose Gwin Entertainment as they were a preferred vendor at our venue and we are so glad we did. Gwin was easy to talk to and asked great questions to get to know us as a couple. We were a pretty easy couple when it came to song selection. We let Trevor do his thing and our guests loved it. The dance floor was packed the entire time and we had family and friends dancing to the end. Our guests had a blast and it showed in the pictures and on Trevor's face. We highly recommend him.

Gwin Entertainment services were amazing! In addition to music, he provided uplighting, projected our names, and 2 outdoor setups! He even provided our officiate with a wireless mic, so we did not need a microphone to say our vows. A link was also provided that allowed us to add our favorite songs for dancing and songs for the different events within the wedding (ceremony, reception entrance, cake-cutting etc.) My guests were really impressed with our D.J.!

We hired Trevor to be out October 2nd wedding dj and it was the best decision! We had a lot of older people there who didn’t like dancing, so he did awesome with the mood music, but also played some songs that others weren’t afraid to get up and dance to! He kept us on schedule and came up with great songs when I was at a loss!

Amazing DJ! Trevor did an incredible job at our wedding. Prior to the wedding he kept in contact with me and discussed options that he thought would work, while also taking in all my thoughts and considerations. He also got in contact with all the other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page with the timeline of the wedding. We also had live music for the ceremony and Trevor kept in contact with them and what equipment he would have for them. He arrived early and made sure all his equipment was set up probably. He was extremely friendly and very flexible. There were a couple things for the reception that me and my wife weren’t sure if we would want come the day of the wedding, and Trevor was able to work with us on that. He did a fantastic job and would HIGHY recommend him!

Trevor was absolutely amazing! He is very organized, and listens to what you are looking for when it comes to music at your wedding. He did an excellent job of announcing things all throughout the night, and making sure things stayed on track. He got people out onto the dance floor from my family I never thought would be dancing! 10/10 Hands down the BEST DJ in Hampton Roads! He was early, set up everything without even seeing our venue previous and it was exactly what I wanted. He was FANTASTIC at keeping everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Oh and he helped me make my entire wedding day timeline since I did my wedding in Sandbridge and didn't have a wedding planner. He was excellent on all ends, I even referred him to my sister who is getting married in May. My wedding was 10/27/2019 and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to make my special day perfect! Trevor was fantastic! He was able to both accommodate the specific song edits I came up for the ceremony and intro to the reception as well as suggest playlists for the times I wasn’t sure what to pick. I had a wide range of guests, from grandparents to toddlers, some that danced all night and some that never left their chairs. I got multiple compliments on the music selection from people across that range. Everyone had a wonderful time at the wedding and I truly believe Gwin Entertainment was a key part of my big day’s success!

Trevor is an amazing DJ. While a little pricey, he was one of, if not the least, expensive we could find for the type of atmosphere we were looking for, for our wedding. Trevor was also very professional and was able to work with us without any glitches, as we were planning our wedding from out of state. The whole process with Trevor was so easy and convenient! When we first booked with him, he took the time to call us and explain everything he offers and what options we had. After booking with him he gave us access to an online client portal where we can choose songs we want. I loved this part because we could choose certain songs we definitely wanted, some that we wanted to play if possible, and even a do not play list. Once our date got closer we met with Trevor in person. He is super friendly and helpful with any questions or if you need suggestions for any song/music choices. Trevor Gwin was fantastic! He helped us create our timeline, and consulted us on the flow of the wedding which was really helpful. Me and the Bride don't share the same taste in music so Trevor was able to help out allot with his recommendations. We definetly where not the easiest as we dragged our feet quiet a bit, and Trevor remained really flexible with us. Again Trevor was just amazing!

Trevor was great. Very professional, from the way he dresses and conducts himself to his attention to detail and no-pressure manner in our interactions. He did a great job for our wedding from background music before the ceremony, music for the ceremony, and of course a great selection of music for the reception. He played all our requests and filled in with similar tunes to keep everybody dancing and into the party all evening. Because of his experience in the local area, he helped us connect with other vendors and saved us a lost morning when he noticed an incorrect address for our next vendor. Trevor was very helpful in selecting the playlist, offering suggestions for order of events and music to go with it, and suggesting crowd favorite activities ( for example the longest marriage dance game). He was responsive and very professional from start to wedding day. On our wedding day Gwin Entertainment came fully equipped with anything and everything we could need (microphones, lights, floor projections, etc.). Trevor did a wonderful job in keeping with our wishes for the vibe throughout the evening. We couldn’t have found a better DJ if we tried! HIGHLY recommend!

We hired Trevor to Dj our wedding 2 weeks ago and he went above and beyond our expectations. He is 110% committed to his work. He took time out of his busy life before our wedding to really get to know us and make sure he had everything down perfectly for our big day. We hired Trevor Gwin, of Gwin Entertainment, to be the DJ and MC at our wedding a couple of weeks ago. Trevor was really easy to work with and had helpful suggestions for music to go along with different parts of the wedding (bouquet toss, garter removal, garter toss, etc). He had different sound systems for each room of our venue (we had ceremony in one location, cocktail hour outside in a courtyard, and reception in a ballroom), and he set up the sound systems before the event so no one had to see him running back and forth with equipment or cords. It was flawless! He was able to customize our processional song so it was longer. He is an excellent trouble-shooter! Seating took longer than anticipated and Trevor had additional music on hand to extend the music associated with the seating/ushering time. We had a belly dancer and she sent him her music files and he had them all queued up for her to make a dramatic entrance! Our wedding was so much fun and people were on the dance floor for the entire night!! Trevor was a fantastic MC as well! He called ahead to go over the pronunciations of all of our wedding party names. He also provided uplighting. I was happy with the effect the lights had but they were pink and I specifically asked for white or offwhite. We just went with it and it looked lovely anyway 😊 In summary, we really felt very confident in Trevor’s abilities and our wedding was just like we dreamed it would be - perfect!!

We found Trevor through a very high recommendation from our venue and we could not have been happier! Every time we spoke with him he was absolutely on it and a pleasure to talk to (we had a blast just chatting him up in general). We had a couple of unique requests, one of which was playing Richard Cheese during dinner, and he was completely game and excited about it. He ran with it and people absolutely loved it! He followed our request to a T, just subtle background music that if people started to pay attention they would get a good laugh in. We got so many compliments on our dinner music as well as during the dancing. He read the crowd perfectly. After the first dance, Trevor called every one up to the dance floor and people swarmed! A number of people came up to me and said: A. They had never seen so many people actually go to the dance floor when a DJ opened it and B. this was the first time they had been asked by their spouses to dance! I am not a dancer by and stretch of the imagination but the playlist was infectious, I think I danced more Sunday night than I ever have in my entire life. His package also came with a lighting tree which was not your typical DJ lights because he had it synced up to the music so even the lights were dancing along to the beat. It was awesome. However, my favorite moment of the night was when he played our last song “Don’t Stop Believing” (it was one of my must plays lol) we had pretty much everyone left on the dance floor singing at the top of their lungs having a blast, it was an unforgettable moment. He also has a great website/program that you can input your time line and vital information for him but also you can see his entire music library and select must play, do not play and requests. I would recommend Gwin Entertainment to any one, he reasonably priced and the experience is priceless.

Trevor was great! I just got married and he made everything so easy for us. We sat down and met with him once to make our final plans he helped us choose music and also played all the songs we had requested still making everything smooth. It was a blast we are so thankful to have Trevor from the mics and the lights he had everything and made it less for us to have to worry about. We had no complaints definitely would recommend him!

I would recommend Gwin Entertainment for anyone looking for a true professional to DJ their wedding. Trevor was very easy to work with. He was responsive, knowledgeable, accommodating, and truly made us feel at ease. He was not over the top and did a great job communicating with the crowd during our reception. He took all of our request into account and read the crowd during the entire reception, adjusting the music accordingly. We wanted our wedding to be one where everyone was dancing most of the reception and Trevor helped make that happen!

Trevor is a wonderful DJ. My husband and I used his services at our wedding, just over a week ago (man it flew by). Trevor takes the time to create a detailed timeline for the day/evening, makes great suggestions, and acts as MC. His pricing was by far the best pricing we found in our area for what you receive. Other companies were far less friendly on the phone, charged more, and offered less. Trevor is a family man and understands the importance of weddings. I highly recommend him.

Trevor was fantastic from beginning to end. We had an unusual wedding in that half of our guests were Brazilian. Trevor had no problem adapting to our specific needs and he played both Brazilian and American songs, and even did some research and talked to other DJs who had done Brazilian weddings before to prepare. We also had very specific requests for the ceremony and the timing of the music and he made it all come together perfectly. He kept the party going and had people on the dance floor all the way until the last minute.

Gwin Entertainment was an excellent choice for our destination beach wedding. We're from Ohio and were planning a Sandbridge Beach wedding trying to find vendors online and Gwin was the first vendor I felt completely comfortable booking first. He answered every email and call very quickly and was very accommodating with our limited beach house space. He played everything we previous requested plus so much more! He took in the fact that we were children of the 90s and played some amazing stuff without being prompted! So fun. Timing was also a strong aspect of Gwin Entertainment. He played our first dance songs and gave time for speeches when asked to jump ahead of schedule. Very easy going and lots of fun on the mic. Definitely recommend.

We got married in early September 2017 and Trevor was amazing! I cannot say enough positive things about experience with him. He met with us twice before the wedding and help guide us on the overall flow of the wedding, order of events, music for each part of the evening, and he gave us a wide variety of options.
