We have been playing at least a dozen weddings a year. We are so very grateful that through word of mouth and being seen out in the clubs, that number increases every year. It's an honor to be a part of one of the biggest days in a couple's life. We take on the responsibility with a promise to make the day run as smoothly and dance floor filled as possible. Our agent, Dave, handles all of the preparation details while Courtney is fully available for the execution of a seamless timeline on the big day. We love performing the couple's first dance just like the album version or, by popular demand, with a special gypsy wisdom rendition. We have a set list of your must haves and have-nots that we put together by reading the vibe of the reception. A popular feature to our package is having a professional DJ work with us to provide the best of both worlds. Sometimes it is a debate with couples as to which to hire for your reception. Why debate, and have both included into one package. Our goal is to look out throughout the night and see the couple having the time of their lives which, of course, ripples through the crowd of their family and friends. They even collaborated with my wife (behind my back) to play a parody cover song roasting me which of course was another highlight. Another cool highlight was having my wife (who is a singer) and our violinist who played our walk down the aisle plug in around the end of the night and play several songs with the band, including the most awesome version of Led Zeppelin "Rock and Roll" potentially ever! We heard from many guests that they were the most fun and entertaining band they have heard at any wedding and they really made the party special. The band interacted with the crowd and allowed the party to just happen naturally. Courtney MC'd the wedding and was super fun and more than just your typical make the cookie cutter wedding announcements and move on type of MC. Courtney and I have been married for 10 years. Our wedding was one of the best days of our lives. (our daughter being the other:). When we are considered to be the entertainment for your special day, we understand the responsibility and privilege to be tasked with this role.
