We have been playing at least a dozen weddings a year. We are so very grateful that through word of mouth and being seen out in the clubs, that number increases every year. It's an honor to be a part of one of the biggest days in a couple's life. We take on the responsibility with a promise to make the day run as smoothly and dance floor filled as possible. Our agent, Dave, handles all of the preparation details while Courtney is fully available for the execution of a seamless timeline on the big day. We love performing the couple's first dance just like the album version or, by popular demand, with a special gypsy wisdom rendition. We have a set list of your must haves and have-nots that we put together by reading the vibe of the reception. A popular feature to our package is having a professional DJ work with us to provide the best of both worlds. Sometimes it is a debate with couples as to which to hire for your reception. Why debate, and have both included into one package. Our goal is to look out throughout the night and see the couple having the time of their lives which, of course, ripples through the crowd of their family and friends. We started seeing Gypsy Wisdom back on our family vacations to Sea Isle years ago. They absolutely blew us away then - we returned nightly and yearly to Ocean Drive to see Courtney hang from the rafters and the band pour their souls into their shows.
When it came time for us to decide on a Wedding Band, we knew who we wanted. Dave managed the initial stages of contracting, dates, payments, etc without a hitch. Courtney took in all of our requests, gave her guidance, and had every detail buttoned up going into our big day, and was totally flexible with our "up to you" decisions.
The Wedding: They killed it. An absolute concert was had with some of the hardest dancing you will ever see. Hours of pure rock and roll, Born to Run, teenage angst, T-swift, Philly-favorites, a bit of country, and a ton of Sea Isle Staplepoints, our wedding party refused to leave the dance floor and refused to leave that night. On a hot July night, Gypsy Wisdom gave us the exact experience we wanted, and left us wishing we could re-do our wedding night over and over again. Add in perfect MC'ing for all our walk-ins, dances, speeches, and cake cutting, they took every moment to deliver their complete professional expertise.
We can't thank this group enough for the night they gave us with our loved ones. In a year where we and our friends have been to 10 weddings, we routinely hear "Jake & Nikki, your band is still the best we've seen".

They kept our guests up and dancing the whole night. We had so much fun and all of our guests commented on how great the band was. Working with them from start to finish could not have been easier. We will definitely be checking them out when they’re playing locally.

Music is HUGE in my family, so it was absolutely imperative that we have an awesome band, not just a good band that got the job done. I wanted our own personal rock show and BOY DID THEY DELIVER! They are absolutely kick@$$ and just the most fun people out there. Not only did they get my entire wedding up out of their seats to dance, but young and old were having the time of their lives, suspenders were popping off, chairs were being stood on and once again my voice was raspy for 3 days go follow. The professionalism this group had in regards to setting up and working with my wedding team was flawless. They were kind and respectful and helped me take a few hiccups in timing, and kept everything neat and orderly and made a few adjustments so we could make everything work. Thank you to this group for giving us the best damn wedding with the best band in PA! Hats off to you and I will share this group for any event or occasion, but if you want a wedding band to rock the house - Look no further!
Our wedding was last night & I cannot express how happy we are that we booked Gypsy Wisdom as our band. From working with their management to talking with Courtney this past week, it was a breeze working with everyone. We told Courtney we wanted a college bar vibe for our reception & they absolutely delivered with the setlist & energy! I don’t remember there being a moment where the dance floor wasn’t packed & I couldn’t count the amount of times someone told us how amazing the band was. If there is anyone out there thinking of doing a band for their wedding you really can’t get any better than the experience we just had.
Couldn’t be happier & can’t wait to make it a regular thing to go to date nights anytime they’re performing in our area to just remember the night!!
If you are looking for not only a wedding band, but also an incredible and lively concert at your wedding, then you need to book Gypsy Wisdom! My now-husband and I would see them play in Sea Isle City (where we met) so as soon as we got engaged, we knew we wanted them to play at our wedding. They completely exceeded our expectations with how amazingly they sang all our first dance song selections, their rocking set list, and how interactive they were with us and all of the wedding guests throughout the reception. Gypsy Wisdom was jamming so hard, my husband and I could not help but start crowd surfing at one point! We went into the wedding already fans of them, and it was awesome by the end of the night to hear all of our guests rave about them. They had everyone on their feet on the dance floor all evening! They were super easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding as well. If you are looking to take your wedding from a great wedding to an extraordinarily epic one, reach out to book Gypsy Wisdom as soon as your event date is confirmed!
Gypsy wisdom are rock stars. Booking them for our wedding was the best thing we ever did. We are 5 days out and I still don’t have a voice. We are also still receiving texts from our guests about how awesome they were, and how it was the most packed dance floor at a wedding they have ever seen. By singing the mother-son dance to including us in their performance, they truly helped make our wedding the best night of our lives. Wedding days come with a lot of stress, but Courtney and Dave made everything easy for us. I hope they are ready for 250 new groupies to follow them around for life.

Courtney and the band were absolutely incredible. They will be the wedding band of your dreams without a doubt. Their stage presence and music is fun, interactive and for all ages. EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire night. They are absolutely amazing and unlike any other band. My wife and I saw Gypsy Wisdom in Ocean City and fell in love. Booking them for our wedding in Elkton, MD was super easy. They sang our first dance song for us which was so beautiful. We wanted our wedding party to come into the reception to their own songs and they made it happen.
We picked out songs for them to sing and kept the guests dancing all night! It all happened so fast, but people were dancing before the dance floor was already open! They are such a fun time and sound incredible.

We were so excited to be able to book Gypsy Wisdom for our reception. We have been huge fans for a long time. They absolutely floored our guests and rocked our reception. We loved having them as part of our celebration.

Gypsy Wisdom was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding! Courtney was an amazing host and the band sounded amazing. They learned our first dance song and parent dance songs and they were so good. Everyone at our wedding had so many good things to say about them. We had the absolute best time and they made our reception so fun.
We had our wedding on 6/2/23, and I can’t recommend Gypsy Wisdom enough! Everyone loved the band and keeps telling us how amazing they were. They had our guests up and dancing before dinner was even served. They know how to put on a party, and are super receptive to any requests. I did not want to do our sparkler pictures, so I didn’t miss the songs. I would do it all again in a heartbeat if I could! Best night ever!

I don’t know where to start ! Gypsy Wisdom was the best band ever for my wedding. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves with our family! BEST BAND EVER! We had Gypsy Wisdom play at our wedding on 10/15/22 and they truly made the night! They learned our first dance song and it was amazing. It felt so much more special dancing to the band. You can tell how much experience the band has by how they read the room, and know the exact timing and song to play. Courtney and Mike have such amazing voices, and between the two, they play such a variety of songs! The band is so interactive with the guests! The dance floor was full the second they started playing and when the time was up, our guests were chanting for more! My now husband and I almost didn't even cut our cake because we did not want to miss a song! We are still receiving so many compliments weeks later! Cannot wait to stalk their schedule and see them whenever they are local ! If you want your wedding to truly be the best night of your life book Gypsy Wisdom !!

Courtney. We locked in our wedding band
before we booked the venue. Courtney and
Michael command a stage and make you
feel like you are at your own personal
concert. They even invited my husband up
on stage to sing a song with them! It was
such a fun and memorable night I wish
we could do it all over again. Our guest have
been telling us that it was the most fun they
have ever had at a wedding and it was 100%
because of Gypsy!
I don’t even know where to start when it comes to describing my wonderful experience with gypsy wisdom. My brother recommend them saying that the two best weddings he had been to this was their band, and I can see why! These people are hands down amazing. They know how to perform and get a group of people out on the dance floor and screaming the lyrics to every song they sing. We had a crazy group of people and even a little rain shower in the middle of our wedding that could have ruined the night, but it honestly just made it better!! They assured me they would figure it out and that I wouldn’t ruin the amount they play. They even let me (the bride) sing a few songs of my own with them. From me, my husband, family and friends nothing but raving reviews. I wish I could get the night back because it was just so amazing partying with them, but instead I will have to go see them in all of the areas they play and I CANT WAIT!!! If you want your wedding to be like a real life concert with you as the star, book gypsy wisdom!!
We had seen gypsy wisdom perform in AC and knew immediately we wanted them as our wedding band! They did not disappoint in the slightest. From start to finish, communication with them was great. They played music that the whole wedding enjoyed and kept our dance floor packed all night. Truly such an amazing, talented band!!!
Our friends and family cannot stop asking us about Gypsy Wisdom! My wife and I have seen them play before so having them play our wedding was a top priority, and they did not disappoint! From the first call with Courtney we knew we were in good hands! From our entrance, to our first dance, and until the final song everything was perfect. 5,000 stars! Gypsy wisdom is the best band with the best band members, hands down all around. They had our guests on the dance floor until the last possible second (there was even a chant for an encore!). Everybody had an amazing time. My husband and I were obviously the main characters of the evening but Gypsy Wisdom made the whole experience complete. I couldn’t imagine our wedding without them there! Truly look no further for your wedding band. Courtney and Gypsy Wisdom were wonderful to work with. I had 100% trust in them from the beginning and they removed a huge point of stress for us. They were the absolute highlight of our wedding … EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night. A newly engaged friend has already asked about booking them for her wedding next year. They were great through the entire process.. booking, planning, and performing. They’ve always been my favorite “shore” band and to see see the transition to wedding band was truly amazing! I’ve known the lead single since high school. It was a privilege to have Courtney sign at our wedding. The entire band provided the most amazing entertainment for all of guests. Before even being engaged my husband and I always said we would have Gypsy Wisdom play at our wedding. And they made it happen.
Gypsy Wisdom was the only music we would have at our wedding. When we picked a date the first thing I checked was their availability. They were a breeze to work with, even with some difficulties with our venue. They were professional and delightful through the entire process. Courtney and Danny learned the song we wanted to dance too and it was beyond perfect. Our dance floor was busy the entire night. We did not want the night to end! We were beyond thrilled with Gypsy Wisdom. They truly made our wedding exactly what we hoped for. We are looking to having them at our sons wedding next year!

If you have the opportunity to book Gypsy Wisdom, DO IT! There are not enough words to express my gratitude and love for this group. They were unbelievably easy to work with and so accommodating, especially during the scheduling and rescheduling due to the pandemic. Courtney is a true gem of a human and made us feel like rockstars. She worked with me to add special touches throughout the night and made sure everyone was up and having the best time! Even our non-dancers were up and loving it. They made sure each song I requested was played and helped keep the night on track. They were in touch with our venue and troubleshooted everything so I didn’t have a single worry. We are so lucky to have had them there. They made our wedding a party to remember!
To say that Gypsy Wisdom totally rocked our special day, would be an understatement! From the whole band learning a few songs that were important to us, to Courtney taking extra time with my dad planning a secret father daughter song, they truly made every second great! They kept guests partying and honored requests while keeping the timeline of everything on point. A few of our guests even booked them for their weddings after ours, and the band definitely gained a whole new crowd of groupies!!

When we got engaged, one of our very first thoughts was, 'we should see if Gypsy Wisdom does weddings!' We had seen Gypsy Wisdom play on the Jersey shore in Avalon at some of our favorite places like The Windrift and The Princeton, and knew that there wasn't any other band out there that was as talented, vibrant, energetic, fun, and down to earth. We knew the band would create the lively party we were looking for, and keep our guests dancing the whole night. They did that, and so much more. Courtney was incredibly helpful and supportive as we planned not only our ceremony music with her, but also all of the set lists for the cocktail hour and reception, and an acoustic cover of our first dance song that the band agreed to learn for us. We were so happy to be able to cover every single one of our musical needs with the band. Courtney was easy to talk to, easy to get in touch with, and was so generous with the way she approached working with us. This was the same for every amazing member of the band and their crew. Not only is this band incredibly talented, they are also wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure that the most special celebration of your life is the best it could possibly be. Gypsy Wisdom truly made our wedding unforgettable, and we will be forever grateful for the memories they helped us create on the best night of our lives!
WOW is all I can say!! From the first contact and throughout the process, Courtney did absolutely everything to make sure our special day went smoothly and was exactly what we were looking for. Courtney was able to customize our playlist prior to the day and even offered to learn songs if there were any we really wanted. She always responded REALLY quickly and never let us feel like we couldn't ask just one more question. They even collaborated with my wife (behind my back) to play a parody cover song roasting me which of course was another highlight. Another cool highlight was having my wife (who is a singer) and our violinist who played our walk down the aisle plug in around the end of the night and play several songs with the band, including the most awesome version of Led Zeppelin "Rock and Roll" potentially ever! We heard from many guests that they were the most fun and entertaining band they have heard at any wedding and they really made the party special. The band interacted with the crowd and allowed the party to just happen naturally. Courtney MC'd the wedding and was super fun and more than just your typical make the cookie cutter wedding announcements and move on type of MC. The performance was high energy and fun and I would highly recommend having Gypsy Wisdom for your wedding or any event you want to put on. I promise you will be happy!!
Long Live The Gypsies! We have seen Gypsy Wisdom perform over the past five years and had to have them play our wedding April 27,2019. Their performance exceeded all expectations! There were crowds of people outside our venue dancing in the street from the music. The band learned a requested song from Florence + The Machine “Dog Days Are Over” for our last song to end the night. It was the best party on the dance floor! Courtney along with Gypsy Wisdom made our wedding the most memorable day of not only our lives but our guests as well!! They were energetic, professional and truly cared about playing music that was important to us. We had such a love for Courtney that we asked her to play at our daughter’s graduation party. Courtney and the guys truly made our day! Our wedding didn’t have a traditional format, so Courtney made herself available to chat with me prior to in order to iron out the details. The day of, the band was on time and ON POINT. They were able to learn our first dance song and I was so impressed with how they were able to execute it. My guests have been raving about Gypsy Wisdom and my dance floor was packed all night-just the way I wanted it to be. The band was interactive and fun, at the end of the night there was a “one last song chant”...what wedding have you been to where that happens?! Do yourself a favor and book these guys for your day.
