time and efficient. They had us done early and ready to go. They wanted to hear stories and get updates on how it went. They listened to what we asked and did not go their own route. They really followed what everyone wanted and made sure we were happy and good. They checked up on everyone before they left to make sure everything was still good. Only issue was with scheduling and communication 2 days before the wedding but that does not reflect on the stylists and make-up artists, that reflects on the management of the salon. We would HIGHLY recommend them to use. Can't say enough good things about them.

getting ready because Chatham was pretty far (Truro wedding) and were so glad we did. The entire process was so much more relaxed that way. Nobody was sitting around just waiting on others to be done. Great customer service and product.

longer because I have so much of it, but Laurie did a great job. She listened to everything I wanted and because it was early in the day she showed one of my bridesmaids how to put the veil on later. This experience was not without stress (the last thing you want to deal with as a bride). Although I am thrilled with how the hair turned out, this salon’s customer service leaves something to be desired. They had me pay a deposit for all of the hair appointments (absolutely acceptable since we had multiple girls having up-dos). The weekend before the appointment I received a voicemail stating the final balance was overdue. This was the first time anyone had mentioned payment was due in full for all appointments TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE. If this is truly their policy- it should have been made clear from the get-go. The receptionist was nice about it, saying she assumed I was busy, but I would have appreciated more notice. Secondly, I was told we would have two hairstylists beginning at 9am. We scheduled each of the girls accordingly to alternate with hair and make-up (done off-site). When I arrived at the salon with some of my girls, I was told ALL of us should have arrived together as there would be multiple stylists working on everyone instead of the two assigned before. I was also informed there was another bridal party scheduled and they may not be able to accommodate all of us. Luckily I was able to have one girl come directly after make-up and the other follow along shortly thereafter. We did not appreciate being made to feel badly or that we were inconveniencing the salon by not all being there at the same time when that was not what was previously discussed. This experience caused needless stress for a bride on her wedding day. I would recommend this salon overall, however would caution anyone to have the policies and day of plan in writing so there will not be any “surprises”.

ore than willing to play around and try something new. On the day of, she came on time to do my hair and my maid of honor's. I wasn't very specific or picky on what I was thinking for my MOH and she was open to anything, so Raimi had the challenge of figuring out what to do on the spot with some fairly short hair. It turned out perfect and better than anything I could have thought up. My hair ended up perfect, of course, and lasted way into the night through hugging, dancing, and sweating; I probably could have gone to sleep and woken up with it intact. I also used the makeup artist they have on staff, Carri. I wasn't sure if I really needed to have someone do my makeup, but after doing a trial with Carri there was no way I was doing my makeup myself. She has an eye for color and skin tones and a light hand so it didn't feel like I was slathered in layers of product. She made sure my MOH had samples and extras of the foundation, lip stick, gloss, and blush she used, along with things to touch up with. She really knows how to work with features and make you look beautiful on a day you want to look your best.

at with the flower girls even when they were getting a little restless. They worked quickly and well. I also had my Make up done by Liz and my wedding party did also and she did a wonderful job and taught me a lot about make up and how to apply it. I had not planed on doing anything for the jr. brides maid or flower girls and she was so nice and put a little blush and natural lip gloss on them at no extra charge. But my hair and make-up were flawless and my mom and bridesmaids looked great as well. Everyone left pleased!

close to the wedding venue. Since I am the aunt of the bride, I wanted to look extra special and the staff at Hair Affinity did that for me. The staff was courteous and friendly and when I walked out of the salon, I felt great. My hair and makeup got a big "thumbs up" from the bride and other family members. I would highly recommend this salon.

o I decided to give them a try. I am so glad that I did. I did a hair trial with Laurie first. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but Laurie listened to me and made some great suggestions. I loved what she did with my hair at the trial. She made sure to take pictures to bring with her on the day of the wedding. A few months later I had a make up trial with Carri. She spent time talking to me about what I did and didn't want my make up to look like. I don't wear a lot of make up so I was happy that she took the time to do that. On the day of my wedding, Laurie and Carri came to my room to do my hair and make up. They made sure that I looked perfect and were even touching me up as I was on my way out the door. They made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day!

. I was convinced that I wanted an up-do. I brought pictures and she did everything I asked her to. When I got home, I started to think that I wanted to have my hair down. I went back a second time for a second trial and Lisa again did everything I asked her to. She agrees that the down-do looked better. When I went for my second hair trial, I also met with Kerrie. Previously, Lisa had mentioned that she knew a make-up artist. I did a make-up trial with Kerrie and she too was wonderful. I left the salon glowing. I was so happy with the way I looked and they both made me feel so comfortable. The day of the wedding both Lisa and Kerrie came to our hotel room. Lisa did all kinds of hair styles for my bridesmaids, mother, and myself. Kerrie did make up for most of the girls. They were both wonderful. I was amazed with how Lisa could do anything you asked her to! The girls had all up, all down, curly, blow out and combinations. They all looked great. Kerrie did a nice job with the make up. Everyone looked natural but with a little more pizazz. When I had my make-up done, I decided I wanted a little more with my eyes. At the trial I looked good, but I wanted to wow people! She did a great job not making me look goth, but going darker around my eyes. Both women were fantastic. They were both VERY reasonable in price and are great at what they do!
