"Beautiful person and artist. Starting from that to describe a little bit how awesome Lia and her artistic work are.
I didn't meet her before my wedding, I didn't give her any idea...
of what I wanted for my hair or makeup that day, I told her since the beginning that I want to trust on her and let her do whatever she believes was convenient for my face shape and for my hair, I sent her a picture of my wedding dress and she right away told me, we gotta show that back lol, I totally answered back with a "you're right".
The day of my wedding she was very punctual, totally friendly and warm. Our time together was very nice, she tried to connect with me, we both had a good time that early morning. When she was done with me, I was so thankful with the way I looked, she totally embraced my own beauty and elevated to the max.
Everyone to my little civil wedding complimented how pretty my hair and makeup looked. Even my very picky mother.
I was so happy with her that I totally want her for my second big wedding.
I can't say enough about Lia, except for what I'm going to direct to her... My dear Lia, God gifted you with magical hands and an extraordinary vision to create angelical looks on people.

n love with what she did I couldn't stop looking at myself. LOL! We were out until 2 a.m. and both my hair and makeup lasted through the dancing and sweating.
So for my wedding, my makeup and hair were the least of my worries (both were beautiful, by the way, and I received lots of compliments) since I knew Lia was going to do an amazing job which was a good thing since I had the worst wedding day jitters! But after 10 minutes with Lia, my nerves dissipated. She is so easy to talk to and has such a great attitude that she really put me at ease. She even gave me trail mix since I hadn't had anything for breakfast except for juice!
Lia, for me, was worth every penny. She not only made me beautiful for my wedding but she also gave me peace of mind on a day that can feel very overwhelming and stressful.

rom the beginning that she could achieve the hairstyles I sent her for myself, the bride, and my bridesmaids. She answered all my emails quickly. Lia brought her assistant with her on our wedding morning to make sure we stayed on our agreed timeline. Lis and her assistant, April did AMAZING work on our hairstyles and our hair looked even better than the photos I presented to her! She was friendly and encouraging on our wedding morning and helped all of us feel beautiful and glamorous:)
My initial search for a person to do hair AND makeup for my wedding was harder than I anticipated... fortunately, that search ended when I found Lia.
In my regular, non-bridal ...
life, I'm a pretty low maintenance gal (i.e. I own chapstick and facewash...) so it was very important to me that my wedding makeup be a spruced up version of myself... natural, not too heavy looking, etc. Lia listened to my ideas and thoughts and did a beautiful job. I felt so beautiful, but more importantly, I looked like myself.
For my hair... I have a LOT of it and wanted it up. Lia did a great job taking my long long hair and putting it up so that it stayed allllllllll day.
Day of, she and her assistant were on time, friendly, and flexible when some of the bridal party fell behind schedule. I'd recommend Lia to anyone - you won't regret it.

! She came to our hotel early the morning after we flew into San Franciso to do my hair and makeup trial. She asked me how I envisioned myself looking on my wedding day, and the whole time she was working she explained what she was doing and asked me about what I liked for color choices, etc. On our wedding day, she came to the bed and breakfast where we were holding our ceremony and did my hair and makeup there. I was SO happy with her work!! I got tons of compliments on how I looked that day. Lia is absolutely wonderful at both hair and makeup!! She's such a sweetheart, and I had so much fun chatting with her! It is so helpful that she travels, too--since I'm not from the area, I think I would've had issues navigating my way through San Francisco! I looked exactly how I wanted to on my wedding day, and my husband loved it too. I wish Lia could do my hair and makeup everyday!! Thank you so much, Lia!!!
