I was struggling to find someone to do my hair for my wedding and my make up artist recommended Michaela. After looking through her Instagram pictures (@hairandmakeupbymichaela) I knew she had to do my hair. Y’all - she is a magician and turned my flat, thin hair into the most beautiful, romantic updo the day of my event. I’ve never received so many compliments! Beyond hair and make-up, she’s genuinely one of the nicest humans you will meet. You’re in good hands with Michaela if you want to look and feel the best version of you on your big day!!

I lucked out and had a friend recommend Michaela from her recent wedding. She was easy and great to work with- I think she offers a beautiful style not commonly seen by some artists. In particular, I loved the braids she could create for my bridesmaids with short hair! Unfortunately, our wedding was cancelled due to Covid19 restrictions so we didn't get to use her services, but she was amazing to not charge us for services already booked. After all the disappointment we've experienced this month, I truly appreciated her kindness in this act. Highly recommend!

Michaela is a patient, magical and truly kind miracle worker!! On our big day, she effortlessly beautified 6 wonderful ladies and myself with poise and a smile on her face. I was running around like a crazy person the day of and Michaela was so flexible and patient, when I really needed it most. She created 7 completely different hairstyles for 4 of the bridesmaids, 2 moms and me. She did not rush through any of the styles, which were all so beautiful. I wish I could attach pictures to this review! On top of all 7 hairstyles, she also completely made-up my rosy, uneven face to make me feel like a princess. She asked essential questions like: “what are your make up must haves?” and “what do you completely dislike?” and ran with the feedback! I may be slightly biased, but I don’t think any bride’s makeup has ever looked so pretty ;) really though, book her!!! Her prices are reasonable and so much more than worth it.

I am SO happy and blessed that I found Michaela to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I have never felt so beautiful! Michaela has true talent--she is very receptive of what the client is asking for, but is also able to work her magic on those who have no idea what they want. Michaela did my makeup for my wedding and she was amazing!! I love the way my bridesmaids and I looked. During the trial, she takes to understand what you like and don't like. Then on your wedding day, she will ask you all sort of questions about how the makeup lasted and if there was anything you want to change. She even took the time to make sure my grandmothers looked good by adding a little touch up. She does a great job! I plan on using her again for when we do family photos.

Michaela is personally my favorite hair and makeup artist. She is reliable, genuine, and will make anyone feel confident and beautiful. Michaela is good at creating the exact look you desire. I always show her pictures from Pinterest, and she can replicate the exact look- making it even more flawless than the picture. I have really thin hair, but she has a way of giving it volume and body. I would recommend Michaela to anyone, she will not disappoint!
