Amy was an amazing hair stylist and treated my family and friends with respect and care. I had an outdoor wedding on the bay, a veryyyyy windy day, and my hair lasted the entire night and looked wonderful! When deciding on a style she really listened to my wants and took her time to make sure I loved the style. I would recommend her to everyone. Price was very fair and she is truly an artist!

I found Amy on theknot and it was the best decision! She was AMAZING to work with. She was incredibly friendly and professional and very responsive when we were discussing the plans via email. I had a hair trial with her a few months before the wedding and loved my hairstyle. She came out to my home and she took a few photos of the do and then when the wedding day came she made my hair look fantastic! All of the ladies absolutely loved their hairstyles and how each one of them looked unique yet they all came together nicely. She was even great when my mother in law brought some hair extensions (last minute and completely unexpectedly) she handled it like a champ and it really came out looking great! Thank you thank you thank you! You made my whole wedding party look and feel amazing. I would highly recommend to everyone and anyone!

I booked Amy from Hair Artistry by Amy for my June wedding. I set up a trial with her about 4 months before my wedding and she came right to my house. There were a few things that I wanted to change after reviewing the pictures so we set up a second trial. Amy was so receptive of the new style I wanted the second time and really understood what I liked and what I was unsure about from the 1st trial. When the day finally came, Amy came to the hotel venue and was right on time. I had 5 girls get their hair done plus me and she did everyone herself. What was so important to me was that my hair style would stay in all day and night. I got my hair done at 11am on my wedding day and it was still flawless at 2am at the after party! Thank you Amy for your amazing work! I cannot wait to recommend you to everyone I know!

Amy was great! I had 5 bridesmaids, a flower girl, 2 moms, and myself getting hair done the morning of my wedding. She was able to finish everyone within 5 hours and everyone's hair looked perfect! I changed my hair style slightly from what we did during my trial and it came out perfect. I couldn't have imagined better hair for my wedding..it was exactly what I wanted. Amy's prices are extremely reasonable and shes very responsive and accommodating. I am so happy I found Amy to do my hair and my bridal party of my wedding. Thanks again!!

I can't stress enough what an amazing job Amy did for myself, my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my 2 sister in-laws ALL BY HERSELF. Amy has amazing style, taste, and makes you feel so relaxed even when their is complete wedding chaos. She is extremely reasonable in price but looking back I would have paid double. Her service, mannerisms, and understanding of what YOU actually want your hair style to look like is exceptional. She is not like some stylists where she is pushy about what she thinks is best at all. We first had a trial and on the wedding day, I asked for a combination of two hairstyles we did at my trial. When I saw myself, I couldn't believe how amazing my hair turned out. All of my friends didn't know exactly what they wanted but had ideas. Amy was able to work with them on the spot and again, everyone was amazed with their style.

Amy was so fabulous and did such an amazing job on my wedding updo. I changed things on her last minute but she was able to do exactly what I was hoping for and I received so many compliments on my hair from my guests. Amy was a perfect find for my wedding hair stylist. I planned my NJ wedding while living in FL, and after reading other reviews on The Knot I decided to contact her. She is super sweet and very accomodating. She not only gave me a great updo, but made my bridal party look amazing. I would highly recommend trusting Amy with your wedding day hair needs.

I hired amy after a trial at my house. She was very sweet and tried hard to satisfy me and all of my bridesmaids. She was timely and did not leave until everyone had enough attention on their dues. I personally found myself a little disappointed in how well my hair stayed throughout the night. Having very thin hair and warning Amy of this, I had hoped there would be enough products to hold mostly in place. I ended up having my sister repin my hair before the reception even started. While it was convenient to have Amy come into our home for the big day, majority of my bridesmaids agreed that they did not think their hair was worth how much we paid.

Amy did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding on 9/21/12. She came to my hotel the day of the wedding to do my and my five bridesmaids' hair. Even though some of my bridesmaids didn't know how they wanted to have their hair styled, Amy was able to work with all of the girls to figure out what styles would work best. She responded to all my communications very quickly and arrived at the hotel on time. She is very dependable, talented and affordable. All of our hairstyles lasted all day (over 12 hours). I would highly recommend Hair Artistry by Amy to brides in the South Jersey area.

Amy is so talented and calm. she is there to listen to you and will not judge. I went to a trial and I knew that even if I wasn't 100% sure of what I wanted, she will make me look gorgeous. and she did. I couldn't be happier with my hair and can't wait to have more events to work with her. My bridesmaid were all very happy with her as well. AND, she is super affordable. I will not think twice, you can rest assured you will be super happy with her.

Amy was fantastic! She came to the rescue after a horrible situation, days before my wedding. She did an amazing job with not only my hair, but all of my bridesmaids as well. Amy came to the house and made my girls and I look beautiful! She did a fantastic job and was super sweet! She even did a little faux-hawk on my ring-bearer. I would DEFINATELY use her again!

Amy was great and so convenient! I got married at the beach. She came to my venue did my hair for my bridesmaids, flower girl, and myself. She did a wonderful job! I was so pleased and happy with the results (I posted some pictures on her facebook page). My hairstyle lasted through the beach wedding until the reception. My daughter wants her to do her hair for prom. I got so many compliments on the wedding party's hair. I will definitely be calling back when I need to get my hair styled for a special event!

In my search for a hair stylist for my wedding, I learned that my logistics were a bit challenging. I wanted a hairstylist to come on site (more calming for me), but we did not have a wedding party, so the stylist would be coming out just for me. From our first correspondence, though, Amy was so supportive of finding a solution that would work for us both, and with the wedding stresses, that was such a refreshing thing to hear! Amy came to my house for the trial and I knew immediately from her relaxed demeanor that it would go well. I'm someone who rarely wears make-up, and wanted to be sure I wasn't over-done. We talked through the options and she was very sensitive to what I wanted to get out of the hairstyle, while also providing recommendations on what would work well on me. For the wedding day, Amy was prompt and again, very calming and flexible to do what would work well for me. Ultimately, I loved my hair. It looked great. It felt great, and stayed well. Granted I was the bride, so people were bound to compliment, but over and over again, guests praised my hair and asked for details on Amy. I highly recommend Amy for your wedding, or other events.
