Hiring Hair by Andrea was the one regret I have about my wedding. They caused us to miss 1 hr of morning pics, and the hairstyles started to fall apart before the ceremony. First, due to the pandemic, I had 2 weddings- 1 in 2021 with a total of 10ppl in a chapel and 1 in 2022 with 100ppl. At my first wedding, I hired hair by Andrea to only do hair and makeup for myself as the bride, and decided to do it at her salon, Euphoria hair gallery. I had booked my apt 6 months in advance and spoke to Andrea many times that week, including the day before the wedding. Somehow despite that, when I arrived at the salon for my appt on time, Andrea had someone else in her chair and asked me why I came in- she looked like she had completely forgot about me and asked me to sit outside, on the bench outside their studio while they figured it out, ~ 20 min in which I was nervously wondering if I would be on time to my wedding. My hair and makeup looked exactly like my trial, and I liked my trial. However, it didn’t last. In 2021, I only had a 1hr wedding directly after hair and makeup, with lunch afterward. My hair started falling out as soon as we got to lunch- it wasn’t even a windy day. Further, the hairstyle I had was a low bun. I have long hair, but Andrea told me at my trial I can only accomplish the low bun look with an added $50 poof material. So, I had no choice but to purchase the material at my trial- even though I showed her the inspiration pic in advance of the trial, I had no warning of the extra material needed. After my wedding, I had a trial with a different company and showed them the low bun look I was going for, and they did it without the poof material. Due to these reasons, I decided to book a different hair & makeup artist for myself for my 2022 wedding. However, I kept Hair by Andrea for 8 women in my wedding party- because I thought the people who worked at euphoria hair salon during my trial and wedding last year were nice and fun, and I liked the hair and makeup- if it stayed- and- they were half the price of all of the other studios I looked at. For my 2022 wedding, Andrea arranged 4 stylists/ artists for my 8 girls that seemed like plenty. I told her we had a 7:30AM hard end time. She told me she can arrive at 6AM and pull that off. I asked if we could do 5:30AM just in case and she said sure. The stylists/ artists and herself arrived at 5:30AM. They were different stylists than the stylists from the salon last year who said they put my wedding in their calendars, which was fine. I wanted very simple curls for the women in my bridal party. Some curls looked very good from the back, but not from the front, not framing their face well. One women cried the curls were so tight and some going out in weird directions - and she asked for loose curls. With her, they ended up coming back and straightened it, which looked ok, but it wasn’t what she asked for. They didn’t have mirrors, so the women couldn’t see their hair as they were doing it. Further, the bridesmaids curls started to fall out before the ceremony even started, 3 hours. Lastly, despite starting a half hr early of when they wanted to start, they finished ov1hr after the stop time we agreed upon! This meant that we couldn’t do 1hr of morning pictures that we wanted, which was priceless. We had planned to go to 2 picture locations in the morning, and we only got to go to 1 of them. Pros: Kind; fair price Cons: Ran late; some did not like hair from front; did not hold

Andrea and her team are fantastic. I first met Andrea and her team when I was a maid of honor for my sister’s wedding. A few years later, I reached out to Andrea for my wedding. Andrea and the Euphoria team are highly professional and skilled, and they all worked to make my wedding day unforgettable. Their work ranged from full hair and makeup to touch ups and styling the groom’s hair. Their care, attention, and efficiency were impressive. I recommend this talented team for any occasion.

Andrea and her team did hair/makeup for me (bride), my bridal party, and a few relatives. Everyone looked amazing and I got so many compliments. Both my hair and makeup lasted the whole night too! Andrea was also communicative and punctual. Her and her team were there early to set up and even finished completing hair and makeup for 10 people early. I highly recommend!

Andrea did my hair as well as my daughter's for her wedding. We both received so many compliments throughout the night. We are so happy with what Andrea was able to do with our hair, especially since my daughter and I have very different hair types.

I have very mixed feelings writing this review. While they were very nice and personable to me and my whole wedding party, the quality of the makeup is questionable. Everyone's hair turned out gorgeous! They were so understandable when I didn't like my initial hair do and were so gracious with me while navigating a new look(which turned out great!) The makeup on the other hand was where my wedding party and I were disappointed. The artists were great, but the makeup did not last! By the time the ceremony ended, half of our eyelashes were already coming off. It was pretty obvious in pictures that most of the make up had come off, which is really upsetting. If you are looking for makeup that will last, please consider a different company.

Andrea is amazing! I loved how natural and beautiful my hair and makeup looked during my trial and she absolutely delivered on the day of my wedding. Andrea and Mary arrived right on time and were very professional and calming, on what can typically be a very stressful day! Me and my girls were all so happy with our hair and makeup and we can't wait to see the professional photos! I was so happy with Andreas work that I will continue going to her for all of my hair appointments at the salon from now on!

Andrea and I immediately clicked! She arrived early with her team and did my wedding hair and makeup. My hair and makeup stayed on the whole night and I was so happy with the results. My bridesmaids also got their hair and makeup done and looked absolutely beautiful. I felt so confident and happy walking down the aisle. Thank you Andrea!

I made an appointment with Andrea at Euphoria hair gallery for a consultation for my wedding and my bridal party. When I came in for my consultation she made time for me sat and asked what we were looking for. Andrea and her staff are very professional and had so many great ideas for styles. We ended up booking the salon for my nine person bridal party. The experience and atmosphere the day of my wedding in the salon with everything I wanted much laughter and joy. We all left the salon feeling great. Our hair and make up held up the whole day and night. Five stars

Did not go well. I was the bride and I was orange. My face and neck did not match the rest of my body, lip shape was weird. I was in shock so I didn't say anything and was just waiting for them to leave so I could fix it. But then all but 2 of my bridesmaids were also visibly unhappy with their face and hair. After all but 3 of the 7 hair and makeup people left, the remaining ones fixed my makeup and the rest of the bridesmaids' hair & makeup. They truly saved the day, I'd give them 100 stars. Andrea and her team do beautiful work efficiently. Due to COVID, I had to make long term (date change) and short term (location and timing) changes. Through it all, Andrea was flexible and stayed in touch. Not only was her work stunning, but it truly lasted the whole day. I am so glad that I went with Hair by Andrea!!

Had a wonderful experience going to Andrea’s Salon in Nyack. Had my hair done before my marriage at town hall and the salon was such a pleasant and comfortable experience. Loved my hair so much and my maid of honors hair looked amazing too. The stylist even added flowers in which stayed the entire day!

Andrea was recommended to me by a good friend, and we immediately set up a test appointment and hired her. Andrea and her 2 stylist helpers arrived early to the venue and were all set-up and ready to go on the morning of the wedding. Andrea listened to what I wanted for my bridal style - a natural curled look for my hair, and simple, elegant makeup. Each of my bridesmaids who got their hair and makeup done looked beautiful, and I was so happy with the end results. The process was easy and painless, which is what it should be! We had fun talking and listening to music in the bridal suite with Andrea and her team, which really helped take some of the stress out of a very busy morning. I would recommend using Andrea for your wedding or event!

Andrea and her crew did mine and my wife’s hair and makeup, so for them it was like being booked for two weddings in one day. Andrea and her team did great! They got set up and got to work quickly. I have never felt so pampered!! Andrea and her team came to my wedding venue 1.5 hours away from home and did Hair and Makeup on my entire wedding party, and I went feeling like a superstar! Where do I start, Andrea is amazing in so many ways! I hired Andrea for my 8/3/19 wedding. I went to a hair and makeup trial with her earlier in the year and found her nice, relaxed, and professional. I loved my trial and hired her for my actual wedding. She did my hair and makeup and hair for my bridesmaids. Our wedding was an earlier start time so we started hair and makeup at 5am! Andrea was right on time, came prepared with everything she needed, and with a great attitude, even so early in the morning. My hair and makeup stayed flawless all day long! Andrea finished us up around 7:45am and I went on for photos (mostly outside for about an hour), the ceremony (outside for about 20 mins in the heat), a 4 hour reception, and a 4 hour after-party. All in all from 8am-10pm everything stayed beautiful! Andrea was great and I highly recommend her for your wedding or next event.

I cannot recommend Andrea enough. It was an amazing experience working with her. There were five people in total that got their hair and make up done for the wedding and we all looked fantastic. She was easy to talk to, never made us feel stressed out, and made all of us feel and look gorgeous. Andrea is the greatest. I first went to her after a bad experience with another extensionist and I was blown away by her professionalism and the way she colored and placed my new extensions. I have received so many compliments on how amazing my hair has looked since I’ve been getting my hair done with Andrea, including how people can’t even believe my hair is extensions because it blends so perfectly with my hair and you can never see the bonds when they’re in, even after months of being in place. I cannot recommend Andrea enough!

I have been using Andrea for my cut and color for years so it was a no brainer to hire her and her team for my wedding. She blew out my hair for my rehearsal dinner and was up with us at 4 am the next morning to start our hair and makeup. Her daughter helped do my makeup for my rehearsal dinner as well and she kicked butt! I was blown away with my hair and makeup. Ive never felt more beautiful in my life. I hired Andrea for my big day last November and I am SO glad I did!! One of the best decisions I made planning my wedding! First of all, I kind of waited until the last minute to book a hair and makeup artist- Andrea was so accommodating and was able to work with me to fit my trials in on time. She took time to listen to what I wanted, and I was so thrilled with the end result! She did a beautiful job covering up skin issues I was concerned about, and my hair and makeup lasted all day and night (not an easy feat with my hair). I felt like she really got the look I was going for, and pulled it off perfectly, which was a huge relief on such a nerve wracking day. On top of everything, she and her assistant showed up to our hotel right on time on my wedding day, and were so much fun to work with! All my girls were just as happy as I was with how they looked. I got married in New York in May and Andrea came to my apartment in East Village to do my hair and make-up. Andrea is very friendly and was actually early for the appointment which was great. I loved my hair and make-up. I received So many compliments. Andrea really listens to what you like and styles you to suit what you both feel is right for you. When looking to book my hair and make-up I contacted quite a few people but Andrea stood out the most. Andrea seemed interested in my own hair and style and asked to see pictures of me etc which I thought was really great rather than a e-mail simply just with a price without knowing much about me which I received from quite a few other stylists. Andrea seemed to show a bit of a personal touch. When booking from overseas and never meeting the person it can seem a little scary. Andrea was absolutely amazing! She is a true professional, and performs in any situation. There were ten people that neeed both hair and make-up completed on a tight schedule, and everyone looked phenomenal in the short time given to prepare. What we all liked most was that we all looked like ourselves. Many make-up artists put on so much make up that people are almost unrecognizable. This is definitely no the experience that you will have with Andrea. She managed to make everyone look like a better version of them self. If you want to work with a real professional and create a stress free experience getting ready for your event, use Andrea.

Andrea is an amazingly talented Artist from hair design to makeup! I love that she was willing to come to My Bridal suite fully equipt with a team of makeup artists and assistants to get my bridal party done in a timely fashion. She recreated looks we chose from Pinterest and her demeanor was calm and assertive. I was thoroughly impressed with how we looked in our photos! Thank you Andrea !!
