I was wanting something very particular for my wedding day hair and Dakota absolutely nailed it. She was willing to work with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. Dakota is an amazing stylist! My mom and I both have very thin, fine hair, and she was able to work wonders. We both had beautiful updos that lasted all night. She did a fun, elegant, and intricate fishtail braid half up/half down on my sister that was so beautiful. Dakota is sweet, patient, and punctual. She was a joy to work with. She even showed us how to remove my veil without messing up my hair for later in the night. Her salon (where we did my hair trial) is super cute too. I would definitely recommend Dakota. She knows what she is doing and will make your hair anxieties disappear!

Dakota was great and definitely recommend her! She did wedding hair for myself, my 3 bridesmaids, and mother and mother in law and everyone looked fantastic. I wanted a slight difference in my hair the day of the wedding than what I asked for at the trial a few months before and she nailed it, even with me changing my mind at the last minutes. Plus she has a really laid back personality and was great to work with.

Dakota did the hair for my wedding as well as my sisters and both times she did an AMAZING job! All of the girls in both weddings were so pleased. I couldn't have asked for a better hair dresser for my big day. Not only is Dakota willing to travel and reasonably priced, but she also packs a fun personality along with her and can mesh well with any bridal party! Dakota is absolutely amazing! From the trial run all the way up to the day of, she exceeded my expectations. Dakota and her assistant completed 9 bridesmaids, me (the bride), and mother of the bride and groom very quickly with time to spare. Every single one of us loved our hair and she is so personable and made our day so much fun! If you are looking for someone to do hair for your big day, Dakota is the best!

Dakota did all my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and they looked BEYOND gorgeous!!! She does such great updo’s, very affordable and just an overall great gal to have around on your wedding day!!!

Dakota is a professional! She listened to what I said and got my hair exactly right. Had it not been right, I was confident I could tell her and she would start all over again. Dakota amd Brittany were wondeful in getting me and my bridesmaids ready for the day! They were professional, and flexible to different hair styles wanted by my bridesmaids! Dakota has been my go to hairdresser for the past 6 years and I never plan to leave! I love that I can go into my hair appointment not knowing what I want to do, and letting her do whatever she wants. She never disappoints! She recently fixed my hair for my wedding reception and I got so many compliments! It was a simple half up, half down style, but the detail she put into the side briads is what really made it stand out. I cannot recommend her enough!

Dakota and her partner were amazing. I met her for the first time on my wedding day. All I told her is that I wanted to incorporate a braid into my style and she worked her magic. On the wedding day she and Mandy were wonderful - they were punctual, upbeat, and kept everything going smoothly. My hair looked amazing! And it held up all day. Dakota was amazing! I've never liked my hair anytime I've had an updo professionally, so trying to find someone to do my hair for my Wedding Day was very nerve wracking for me... I initially had another person booked for my big day that I did a trial with but was just eh about (as I assumed with my past that I wouldn't LOVE anything). It kept bothering me.. and I realized that I deserved to LOVE everything about how I looked on my wedding day so I looked around more. I saw pictures of Dakota's work initially and loved how different but "current" all the styles were.. no frumpy 90's updos, buns, or spiral curls :) When I met for my trial with her, she listened to everything that scared me about updos in the past and was able to recreate a style I found and fell in love with. I was sooo happy and relieved when I left that day. On my Wedding Day, she was able to perfectly recreate it. For the first time, I truly loved my hair styled with an updo. I felt gorgeous on my Wedding Day, as every bride should, and was truly so thankful to have found Dakota. On top of that, she was very organized, timely, and just easy to be with. She is very down to earth and has a calming personality.. something every bride also needs on the big day :)

Dakota was fun, amazing and her work is fantastic! My hair looked just amazing at the end of the night as it did at the beginning...even after hours of getting low on the dance floor. The bridesmaids loved her style and she made my little lady feel like a princesses.

Dakota came highly recommended to me for hair design in Louisville. As an out-of-town bride, I hired her not knowing anyone else, or where to start. She did a FABULOUS job. My bridesmaids, and my mom looked like runway models. She did all different kinds of hairstyles from updos to curled and down, and all of them looked absolutely stunning. She charged a small travel fee to come to the venue, but it was well worth it to keep my out-of-town bridal party from traveling all over the city. I would definitely recommend Dakota to do hair for your next event!
