Hair Comes the Bride

Hair Comes the Bride completely ruined the afternoon of my wedding day. My "stylist" didn't know the schedule of when I was supposed to be ready and ended up delaying our entire schedule by AN HOUR AND A HALF. Even if she had managed to create a decent hairstyle from her first try (it was a disaster), she wasn't even aiming at being done until over HALF AN HOUR after the necessary time. Instead, she wasted her morning doing the bridesmaids, flower girl, mothers, my mom's friends - all of which I very clearly told her (multiple times) didn't need to be done until several hours after me. Her hour and a half delay meant that for an hour and a half, I had three photographers, 2 videographers, and my entire bridal party simply sitting around and waiting for me to finish. My bridesmaids realized that I was so upset that they were afraid to even go near me all afternoon for fear that I would just burst into tears, so they just sat quietly in the other room and waited. Her hour and a half delay also meant that I didn't have time to take hardly any photos when I was finally ready, and which meant we had to feverishly sprint through bridal party photos, photos of myself and my groom, and our formal family photos. I now have literally just a handful of photos of myself and my husband on our wedding day (and just a few of myself with my bridesmaids) because the HCTB team wasted my entire afternoon attempting to do a half decent job on hair and makeup. And all after not just one but TWO PAID TRIALS, multiple emails and photos and exact descriptions of what I wanted, and yet they still were not able to create the look I wanted AND ruined not only my shot at taking photos but my mood that entire afternoon and going into the evening, on my wedding day!

The experience was awful. First off, the lady (Lara) missed the appointment and never showed, we had to reschedule. and the second time, she was late and acted like she was "put out" to come to my house. And she didn't listen to anything I said that I wanted and EVERYONE there, about 4 of us, all said that I looked horrible and I could have done a much better job myself. When I called the company to complained they said, "oh sorry, she is our best. Oh well" So I got my money back and went with another company that actually did what I asked for. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

My experience with Hair Comes the Bride and my stylist Laura was fantastic! Laura was early to both my preview and day of appointments. She listened to what I wanted and made my vision come to life. I had a few questions leading up to the big day and Hair Comes the Bride was very responsive and professional. After seeing my hair and make-up after my preview appointment, my mom decided she wanted hers done too and she looked absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Hair Comes the Bride to anyone who wants to take the guesswork out of this part of the planning. Trust me, it is definitely worth the expense!

My wedding was in Orange County, not being familiar with many vendors in the area I started researching online services for Hair and Make-up. I looked up referrals as well as picture galleries from different services. Hair Comes the Bride caught my eye with their gallery of pictures, defineatly the type of make-up and look I was looking for. Scheduling my trial make-up was very easy. They came to my home to do the trial, took pictures, and it was a go. My make-up Artist, Laura, did a fantastic job. She has actually been featured on the W TV show My Fair Wedding. She is a true pro at doing bridal hair and make-up, the trunk of make-up/bobby pins, hair spray, etc she brings is almost as big as she is, and best of all she pulls all the tricks of the trade to make you look flawless for the big day. Pricing for brides ranges around the $250-300 mark for day of, but your make-up will last the whole event.

Yes, they are a bit pricey but it was worth every penny!! My up-do on my wedding day was more amazing than the one on my trial date. My hair stylist/makeup artist Laura was amazing. She is a true expert at her profession. My hair and makeup looked flawless and it was just what I had asked for. Hair comes the bride answered all my questions and my emails timely. They guaranteed thier service and they delivered!

What an amazing job they did?! Worth every single penny, on time, professional and caring. This is comes from the bride who doesn't use make up and have her hair in a pony tail almost every day. I was so scared in a beginning, but what a surprise. I looked amazing and all bridsmaids and flower girls were breathtaking

I looked all over for hair accessories that would compliment a ocean them without being over the top. I wanted rhinestone starfish and could not find them. Then I founf this website. They were not rhinestone, they were made of Swarovski crystal and very affordable. They offered discounts when you order multiples (which I did, one for each of my bridesmaids and then a different colored on for me). The looked amazing in our hair, sparkled every time the light hit them and none of the girls had any problem with them falling out.

VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! :-) I was 1005 satisfied with their services. Our hair and make up turned out beautiful. They were able to duplicate any picture of a hair style my brides maids gave to them. My hair and make up looked great and my husband told me I looked perfect. My stylist was VERY professional and she finished all 10 of us on time. The cost was very reasonable for what we received. They also have a short payment plan if you need it. Since I found them in advance this worked out great for us. I loved the fact that they came to me for my trial run. A lot of places I called wanted me to go to them.

So glad i spent the money on them. Laura did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. All of my girls looked beautiful and the helped was a godsend during pictures. Would highly recommend

Genna from Hair Comes the Bride is a true artist. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Laguna Beach. Genna was friendly and ethusiastic. After showing her pictures of what I liked, she gave me the most gorgeous hairstyle I have ever seen. After photos at the beach, the ceremony, and hours of dancing, my hair and makeup still looked flawless!

They were excellent except for the comment made to the MOB. SHe was told that it would not be good for her to have airbrush makeupp because they don't usually do it for people who have alot of wrinkles!!! OMG who says that. Could have put it another way.

I had Hair Comes the Bride come to my hotel the morning of the ceremony to do hair and make up for my sisters, my mom, and myself. The designers were all very nice and easy to work with. I also had a personal assistant - which I probably wouldn't do again - but it was nice that she steamed all the dresses and helped during pictures. The hair and make-up was really well done. I felt like a princess!!

Found their website online and ordered 2 rhinestone starfish barrettes for my destination beach wedding. Had many items to choose from. My order arrived quickly and appeared exactly as pictured and described by the website. Received many compliments about them at the wedding. Would use again if needed. Definitely recommend.

I really liked the idea of having the stylist come to the location I was getting ready at. It made the day easier on me and my bridesmaids. I had a huge wedding party (13 girls) and they were able to provide 3 stylists to help the day of the wedding. Be aware that they are not very flexible on the start time. If the start time is determined as 7am... all the girls have to be present at the same time. It was inconvenient for some of the girls to get there and have to wait 2 hours to get hair done. But in the end it was a good experience for a fair price.

I found Hair Comes the Bride after having a disastrous hair and make-up trial one month before my wedding. They saved my wedding day look. As I live in Florida, I could only have my trial with them the week of my wedding once I was in California. I made my appointments with Angela, who was very pleasant and easy to work with over the phone and they were able to send a hair/make-up artist to my location with short notice. We decided that since it was so last minute, it would be best to have my trial on the day of our rehearsal dinner/day before our wedding. Having perused their amazing work in their online portfolio, I was not nervous. Laura was my appointed hair and make-up guru for both days and I was so happy with her work. She was very sweet and immediately put me at ease (except for the other horrible trial, I had never had my hair or make-up “done”). She listened to what I wanted and created the perfect combination of the pictures I had showed her. She helped me perfect the look for the next day, listening when I wanted more of this, less of that. Their work was definitely out of my price range, but it ended up being sooo worth it. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone who wanted to look and feel their best on their wedding day!

I love these girls!!! Laurie and Seema are the ones who worked on me and my bridal party and they made us look hot! I wanted to more along the lines of a Playboy model oppose to a classic bride and they nailed it! Laurie made extensions for me so I had long, full and curly hair that has this beautiful textured style on the sides to compliment my headband with that glamorous sex kitten smokey eye makeup. My husband couldn’t get over how hot I looked! They are able to do all styles of hair and makeup. My mom was wearing a vintage style dress and she wanted her hair done like Rita Hayworth and they styled it to a T! What really sealed the deal for me was that on the day of (once everyone saw how great we all looked) those who only had makeup now wanted their hair done and vice versa so they allowed us to add on those services! They arrived on time and had us ready to go when we needed to leave. I also had Lauri do a spray tan trial during the summer which looked awesome, but I didn’t have time to do it again before the wedding. My bridal party and our moms looked so beautiful! I wish I could keep these girls in my pocket so that they could do my hair and makeup every day, they really made me feel sexy. ;)

I used Hair Comes the Bride for my hair/makeup for my wedding and several bridesmaids and motb/motg used them as well. They are very professional in the presentation and my stylist was meticulous in making sure she had all the details of what I wanted right. After the trial, she made lots of notes about what I liked so she could repeat it. That took a lot of the stress out of the wedding day because I knew she remembered exactly what I wanted. She also brought another stylist with her who did an amazing job on the other girls. They were both obviously very talented and very good at their trade. Their price was higher than some of the other vendors I saw, but the quality was definitely there.

I worked with Evelyn from hair comes the bride for my wedding. I ended up having two hair trials with her because I was so crazy and uncertain about what I wanted. She was so great during the whole ordeal. The day of the wedding she kept calm even through some of our ridiculous drama of the morning. My hair and make-up were absolutely perfect and she and her assistant both did a great job for my bridesmaids and the mothers. I highly recommend them and if you go with hair comes the bride, you should go with Evelyn.
