ive the quality or skillset advertised. I booked the Just for the Bride package for $350. To ensure, the hair I had the day of my wedding, and to prevent any potential nightmare the day of, I also booked a hair trial for $120. During the hair trial, there was only one hairstyle that was attempted when it's advertised as many styles as time allows. The single hair style that was attempted, I was very unhappy with. I decided to go another route for the day of. On the day of, I provided two new styles to the stylist referencing the final look I wanted to achieve, and how I wanted the accessories placed. Prior to, I had my hair cut to ensure the style I wanted could be achieved exactly as shown. At no point did the stylist check-in during the process. The result was nearly identical to what I received during the trial that I did not like. With only a half hour to spare, I had to undo that work, and style my hair into a ponytail. In alignment with the quality and professional skillsets I was told I would receive, my makeup and hair was done simultaneously. While my makeup wasn't nearly as big of a nightmare as the hair, I still had to make adjustments there as well because by the time I had finished my hair, my makeup was already oily, and the cat-eye I specifically asked for was wobbly and not at all a cat eye. I also found it very unprofessional, to upsell additional services for an extra fee during my final session. Hairs 2 the Bride was the only cloud that hovered over my wedding day, after tips, I expected a lot more for almost $600 on hair and makeup for one person. While the email of my disappointment was addressed with a small refund. The refund for the day of hair services does not make-up for the quality or skillset I received on a very big day. Edit: (Response) Let's review the inaccuracy of your response. 1. At most five minutes was spent discussing any preference, your stylist quickly scrolled through my phone and settled on one herself. No modifications were made, nor variations provided. 2. Please review the photos of my phone your stylist took of what I asked for and compare to the photo of what was provided. Additionally, compare to the photo taken of the singular hairstyle provided at trial. I too have cameras in my home that refute any claim that she asked for feedback before completion. Not to mention my husband sitting in the room as a witness. 3. Your stylist asked if I wanted a facial, I did not seek one out, also again refuted by cameras and my husband. 4. I paid a deposit of $207. I paid the remaining balance of $150. I paid $120 for a trial. I paid an extra $25 for the sale of a facial. I paid cash to both stylists for gratuity. Again documented by cameras in my home and yours. 5. My review stands, and furthermore the blatant fabrication of what actually occurred and your inability to take responsibility let alone accountability is quite telling. It's no wonder you have your clients fill out the contract for you. I suspect it's a bait and switch at that stage as well.

lutely fantastic from start to finish! Our two stylists, Lisa and Eva, were professional, incredibly talented, and honestly just so fun to be around on the morning of my wedding. They were great communicators, very fast to respond during planning, and super accommodating with any changes or requests along the way. They even created a detailed schedule that worked perfectly with our wedding planners’ timeline. On the day of the wedding, they arrived right on time and kept everything running smoothly. Even with one of our flower girls showing up late to her hair appointment, they still managed to get everyone done on time without stress. Everyone looked and felt beautiful, and our hair and makeup truly lasted all day and night (over 14 hours!). My bridal HAMU trial was also amazing. Lisa brought my Pinterest inspiration to life, and I felt so pretty. She even told me exactly which lipstick they used so I could buy it for touch-ups on the wedding day, which I really appreciated. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the Chicagoland area, and the quality of service was outstanding. Overall, Hairs 2 The Bride was wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a talented, reliable, and fun HAMU team.

This company is so accommodating, easy going, and so sweet! When I received our schedule times I got push back from one of my bridesmaid's and also had to end up adding another person. I spoke to Michelle and she was so understanding. She got it all figured out with no problem. The day of my wedding we had Michelle, CJ, and Haley! We got so lucky that we ended up with such a fun group. Not only did they do a fantastic job on me (making me feel so beautiful), the moms, and my bridesmaids they were jamming out to music with us (side note even with that being said they finished us up in plenty of time when I said we had to be done)! We had to change the time for the second event at the last minute, and Mike was so accommodating — he even offered to bring in a third stylist to make sure we were ready on time. That level of flexibility and professionalism was such a relief, especially being from out of state. Hayley was amazing to work with. She completely exceeded our expectations — the hairstyles came out even better than the inspiration photos! She was kind, personable, and funny, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. Eva did a fantastic job with makeup. Her airbrush foundation was flawless and lasted all night. For our second event, Chrissy did our makeup and absolutely killed it — the eyeshadow especially was beautifully blended and truly to die for. Honestly, the hair and makeup were even better than some of the artists I’ve worked with in NYC for other weddings! Overall, we were so impressed with the entire team. The prices were affordable, everyone was professional, and they went above and beyond to make everything perfect. It genuinely felt like getting ready with family — warm, fun, and effortless. For our first Illinois experience, Hairs2theBride set the bar incredibly high. We truly hope we get to work with them again in the future!

She was professional, fun and easy to work with. Felt like she was part of the family after working with her all morning. She even helped my mother even out her foundation even though she wasn't doing her makeup. She is amazing. Highly recommend !!!!!

She made me feel completely at ease, and her work was flawless — I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Her warmth and kindness are truly the cherry on top. For my wedding day (and a month later, my best friend’s wedding), I had the privilege of having both Haley and Eva do hair and makeup, and they exceeded expectations each and every time. They were patient, kind, and made me feel so comfortable. On such an important day, trust is everything — and I had complete trust in them, not only for myself but for my bridesmaids as well. I knew we were in the best possible hands, and they delivered perfection. They were so accommodating with any changes or requests, and I honestly can’t imagine walking away with anything less than total satisfaction. Now I just need to find another event as an excuse to book them again — and to feel like the very best version of myself in the process! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. both were perfect!! The trial was great and they were receptive to changes. The day of turned out exactly how I wanted it and it lasted all night long. My bridesmaids had some issues with hair and makeup- one had two different eyeshadow colors put on, one had contour on one side but not the other, and two people's curls fell right after team left. They did fix the makeup issues and luckily my sister is good with hair/makeup so she helped everyone get fixed after they left. They did also have a few errors on our schedule that I had to have them change, but it wasn't a huge deal. Overall, I had a great experience with the team. Having them on-site was great and made the day so much easier.
