At first, we were very excited to work with the Halberstadt’s located in the Sioux Falls mall. The pricing was reasonable and the employees were friendly. Since most of our bridal ...
party was located from out of town, they were ADAMANT that they come in to be measured so that everything was correct. I even offered if they could send in their own measurements, and I was told that they cannot guarantee a proper fit through that method.
When the suits finally arrived, one of our groomsmen’s pants were more than 4’ to big and they had to order new ones. Another usher went to try his on and it was too small, and come to find out as he was walking out of the store they had given him the wrong persons suit. Unfortunately, even when they gave him the proper one, it still needed work. My brother’s pants for his suit were also about 2’ too short.
I would not have been so upset about this if they were not so adamant on having people physically come in to get measured. Mistakes happen, I understand, but when this is what you are doing 24/7 and there was not just one mistake, it is very frustrating.
We did have some things fixed by a Halberstadt’s co-company JH Clothiers in downtown Sioux Falls, and they were absolutely great. They got my brother’s pants fixed within 15 minutes. Would definitely advise to go to the downtown co-company for your wedding needs.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We went to the location at the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, SD and I don't think we could have had a worse experience.

with either didn't take down our information properly or didn't bother to file it so it took several phone calls and visits just to get our wedding party info into their system. Once the order was finally "completed" (though not as we had requested, mind you) all of the suits were HUGE and when groomsmen went to have them altered, the items were returned from the tailor the same size (so alterations weren't actually made). If you need suits made for your wedding, I would strongly recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE!

his groomsmen and tuxes for the dad's. Fittings went smoothly but when we got the suits we ran in to problems. The groom's pants were too big, two groomsmen received the wrong cut of shirts and jackets, the other groomsman's pants were too small (and as he was losing weight at the time, I don't think it was his fault), and the day of my wedding, my dad's pants ripped as he was getting in the car! I ended up being very disappointed with Halberstadt's. I guess it was just too good to be true.
These guys were fantastic all the way through! When I realized my guy forgot to include vests like he was supposed to in the order Halberstads was able to fix the issue in 5 min! ...
Also, I had taken a couple shirts to get pressed before the ceremony and when going through all the inventory Halberstads called to confirm this with us and ensure we weren't missing anything else. Douglas in the mall store has the best customer service skills of anyone I've ever met!
Not sure on how any would want to buy anything from Mike Gallo. He has a 20 some page criminal record that includes arrest from possession of drugs,DUI, abuse, fleaing an officer ...

y knowledgeable about sizing. What was really great though was that I had two groomsmen that couldn't come up for a final fitting until the day before the wedding - they got them in and the suits adjusted and I didn't have any worries at all. Really a fabulous place to work with.

party were not treated very well and others did not have suits that fit appropriately and had to beg to get alterations. Overall they looked nice, but considering we bought 12 suits from them a little friendly service would have been appreciated!
Some of the workers are nicer then others. We bought suits. They were given to the guys in dire need of being steamed/pressed.

Even with my groom in another state, Halberstadt's was able to help me with EVERYTHING. Love these guys!
All of the guys bought their tuxes from here and they worked to get them the correct size. A couple had to be realtered but they took care of that very quickly
