Hale Street Center

We opted to have the rehearsal dinner and the wedding at Hale St. They did an awesome job and helped with different requests. Everyone had a lot of fun.

I had my wedding here on July 31st after starting wedding planning July 10th. I was beyond stressed and nervous as I was planning a wedding in just a few weeks. Sherry was beyond amazing. She was accommodating, hardworking, and professional. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She made the day proceed flawlessly and took care of EVERYTHING. I cannot rave about her enough. I had an amazing experience and it was all thanks to Sherry. I cant recommend booking with her enough and having her be your day of coordinator.

Love the Venue!! Beautiful Space to create any atmosphere you are looking for. The Staff were very accommodating overall great experience.

I attended a wedding reception here recently. The way the ceiling is decorated with lights give such a beautiful ambiance. It is conveniently located right beside a parking garage. The facility (including the bathrooms) was very clean. I'd highly recommend.

It was a nice place but it wasn't wide enough for a Dance Floor & it was hard to find a Parking spot.

Beautiful Venue! We recently attended my son and daughter in laws wedding reception there. I would recommend this venue if you want a reception close to home, in the Charleston area. Very cozy!

Everything was great. Little Pricy in my opinion and terrible service from the First Lady we dealt with. No communication and bad attitude. There is a new lady now and she did a great job.

Kristen, with Elite Events, was excellent, start-to-finish with our event. We had a couple meetings before, and she was always taking notes and clearly outlining our discussions. At our last meeting, she went through all the things we had discussed, and made sure all expectations were clear. The day of the event, everything was set and ready to go. We added our personal touches, and the party was a huge success! Hale Street Center is a beautiful location, with multiple floors and styles available, and a true asset to our community!! The modern industrial feel of the 3rd floor was perfect for our son. I'm certain we will be back!

We had our post-wedding brunch at Hale Street. The post-wedding brunch was also my parent's 40th anniversary party as well. We also got ready there on the 2nd floor before the wedding. The space is gorgeous and the 2nd floor is just perfect for getting ready. There was tons of space for my bridal party, great lighting for the make-up team, and tons of chairs and mirrors for the hair team. My details pictures and first look with my dad from the 3rd floor space are amazing with the lighting and exposed brick. Kristen from Elite Events planned everything for the brunch and it was so easy. She was also our wedding planner and was honestly just the best. I cannot rave enough about how great this space and the event planning team are.

This is the coolest place! The best part is Kristen with Elite Events. She is a true pro. She has it all figured out before you even ask the question. I know this, because I have worked with her on several events as a wedding vendor. You can't go wrong, here!

We recently had our wedding and reception at Hale Street Center, including using Kristen Kelley from Elite Events as our Wedding Coordinator. The venue was amazing, and perfect for our needs. Our wedding had a number of logistical challenges, including needing food, drinks and speakers / mic on multiple floors at different times of the night, but Kristen handled this easily. She developed a comprehensive itinerary that covered all setups and breakdowns, and worked closely with all of our vendors to make sure everything was executed seamlessly. She also gave us helpful nudges at the appropriate times to make sure we and our wedding party were in the right place at the right time, without having to watch the clock ourselves. Ultimately, we had our dream wedding, and we were able to enjoy it with peace of mind. Since we left immediately for our honeymoon, Kristen also offered to store our decor and other leftover items at Hale Street Center until we returned a week later. This was, hands-down, the best event service we’ve ever had, and we’ll definitely be using Hale Street Center and Elite Events for any future events.

Great venue for a small wedding. My friends got married there and it was the perfect spot. I loved all the little details that the venue clearly thought through, like the amenities and how they transformed the space from the ceremony space to the reception hall,

My friends just got married there. Beautiful space, loved the exposed brick. The dressing rooms for the wedding party are awesome. Staff was super nice when I talked with them.

Romantic and charming! This was my first event at The Hale Center and I was very impressed. I love the concept of the different levels in the building and utilizing the entire space. One of my favorite things about the day was the space for the bridal part to dress and hang out.

This was my first time in the Hale Center and it was pretty impressive. The building is narrow but goes back a long way on multiple floors. The venue was perfect in that all aspects of the wedding [wedding, dinner and reception) were all held in the same building. There is a parking garage right beside it which makes it easy to get in and out. This is the perfect place for larger gatherings and especially weddings.

My cousin just got married here and it was breathtaking! I was in the wedding party and got to see a majority of the building. The dressing room is very spacious and accommodating in its amenities! Every bit of this place and the experience was amazing! Great place for a wedding!

Such a beautiful space! I was especially taken with the gorgeous evening light that made us all glow during the wedding ceremony. Every transition was smooth and seamless.

I cannot stop talking about this amazing place in downtown Charleston! A beautiful building that has been modernized but still has its wonderful historic charm with a ton of room. The staff is truly top notch. I will definitely recommend this hidden gem.

My best friends just got married here and it was BEAUTIFUL! I don’t know of any other space like this in the area. They did a fantastic job of modernizing the building while keeping all the original charm. Has a big city feel to it. The separate floor for the wedding party was a huge bonus. We had a fantastic time!

We had our wedding at Hale Street Center and our experience with this venue was superb. Kristen and the whole team were so accommodating, easy to work with, and straightforward, and made coordinating our event as seamless and uncomplicated as possible. The exposed brick next to the huge windows overlooking downtown Charleston makes for a highly photogenic space. The dressing area/getting-ready space for the wedding party is so roomy and hip. We couldn’t be happier!

I got married on 5/8/2021 at Hale Street Center and it was wonderful! Kristen and her team are exceptional at what they do and were so prepared to help us with anything that we needed. The space is beautiful - I don’t think any of the pictures I’ve seen online really do it justice. And being able to separate the ceremony space from the dinner space by using each floor of the building really allowed our vision for the day to come to life. Plus, the location of the space makes it so easy to head out for photos, and it’s super convenient for guests to get to. I’ve been to weddings at several venues in Charleston and Hale Street Center is by far my favorite!

Beautiful venue in downtown Charleston! Lots of natural light coming through big beautiful windows in the ceremony space! The floor dedicated to the wedding party was amazing! Lounge areas, multiple floor length Mirrors, and multiple vanities with space for everyone to get ready comfortably. Perfect for relaxing before the event.

Lovely space with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The workers were flexible, accommodating, and professional. There are lots of different corners of the space to fit a variety of needs and I liked having a space to get ready and leave our things. All-around great wedding space!

The venue is a beautiful space for any event. The wedding I attended 5/8/2021 was beautiful. Lots of open space and windows and a suite to accommodate the wedding party. This event went on with no issues because the staff who made sure everything was taken care of and showed up in a flash to help with any questions or changes

Venue is in a perfect location in downtown Charleston! The venue spaces are bright and beautiful & have wonderful exposed brick walls. The people working there are super nice & helpful. Highly recommend for weddings!

The venue is so beautiful and chic! The second floor getting ready lounge area felt especially luxurious and comfortable. Everyone was very professional, helpful, and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I recently attended the wedding of Bryant Irwin and Morgan Henson. The whole weekend was fabulous particularly the venue which hosted the Rehearsal, wedding, and reception. I helped setup and was so impressed with the staff who were friendly and very helpful. There was abundant refrigerator/cooling and the kitchen was fully stocked. The actual wedding was intimate and memorable. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed the dancing and DJ. I also commented the Hale Street Center for their elevator assessiblity and great air conditioner. I think Morgan and Bryant picked an incredible venue for thei wedding and would highly recommend The Hale Street Center for everything wedding!
