He and his assistant took beautiful, elegant photos and got plenty of great posed and candid, fun shots- which is what was most important to us! They both arrived early in the day to take photos of us getting ready in the hotel, take posed girls shots, first look photos, wedding party photos, and ceremony and beyond. They were working for almost 12 hours! We really appreciated having all of the photos online where we could print them out or share them with friends and family. He is also compiling a physical photo album for us as we select our favorites. From start to finish we were thrilled with Hale Channel Photography. We’ve been familiar with Hale for many years, having seen their work at several friends’ weddings, and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else for our special day!

He made even the most ordinary scenes come to life in his photos and we were thrilled to work with him. We agreed to meet him at his studio in Chicopee and Brian was a super nice guy who knew a lot about the whole wedding process and was very helpful. After talking with him we knew he was our guy. We hired him for photography and our wedding video. Brian was our lead photographer on the wedding day. He brought an assistant and had two really nice videographers along with him. They did a great job at capturing every moment without being obtrusive. They blended in to the crowd most of the night. Brian put us at ease with his posing ideas and our photos came out beautiful and candid looking. Also very artsy. We LOVE them. The video was just as impressive! We got the full length hour long video and a short 4-minute video. The videos are so nice they look like something that would be seen in a movie theatre! Brian and his team are so very talented. If you are still looking for a photo+video company, look no further. Hale Channel is the best experience we could have hoped for and they went above and beyond for us along the way.

er. We agreed to at least meet Brian Hale and see what we thought! Once we were in Brian's studio my husband's opinion changed instantly. Brian is clearly passionate about his work; you see it the moment you meet him. He truly loves what he does and it was clearly reflected in the end product of our video. The day of the wedding we worked with his assistants, Mike and Shannon, who were two of the most professional people I've met. I was worried that the house was a mess since I had so many women getting ready together and they assured me it was not a problem (This felt like a huge deal for me at the time!!) They captured every intimate moment of the ceremony and I cannot thank them enough for letting me relive that on a daily basis if I want! Our reception had many small details (signs, toasting glasses, favors) and they made sure to get every single one documented. Mike even took a ride hanging off the back of a golf cart to get the perfect shots of us! They somehow captured me singing during our first dance which Brian was able to put exactly to the song on the video. Both Mike and Shannon captured every moment and yet also somehow stayed in the background so you didn't even know they were there! It was amazing! Brian did the editing and when I received the short and long version everything was absolutely perfect. Mike and Shannon somehow got clips of every guest either dancing or giving an interview and I cannot explain how nice it is to see everyone at your wedding having a good time on video. The song choices were amazing, the timing of everything was just right, and thanks to Brian, Mike, and Shannon I have the most perfect video to look back on for years to come. I cannot thank HaleChannel Photography enough!

Wedding Brian was in constant contact for any questions that we had, as well as asking us for important information that he needed to do his job. On the wedding day, Brian showed up bright and early and got many shots that before the ceremony we were not even expecting. The moment we met Brian at his studio we knew by the look of his pictures on display and his up-to date viewing section that he was the "artsy" flair we were looking for! We opted for an engagement session even though we had been engaged for a couple of years just to get comfortable with the actually act of being photographed and it was such a fun evening! Brian was more than happy to let us include our puppy and the pictures came out great. The day of the wedding was even better, Brian's positive and fun attitude really made the day even more special and you can see it shine through the final pictures. Brian does a great package where you get a few printed pictures of his choosing along with a thumb drive of all your pictures from the day. An added bonus to Brian's technique is he tends to stay in the background and is not right in your face the entire day but the pictures seem like he was right there! is can be hindered by any number of things, and I worried before booking our photographers - about how it would feel to have someone taking so many pictures during such a sacred time. These concerns melted away the instant I arrived at the venue on the big day, and was met with Brian's smiling face. Brian and his assistant were incredibly kind, and efficient (qualities that often don't find themselves in the same person). They put everyone at ease, and charmed the guests. During the first look, and the ceremony, they were documenting each moment without us knowing they were there. Brian coached me through the cake cutting, which would have gone horribly awry without him. They were a dream. When we received the pictures, we were struck yet again. Only soulful people can capture soulful moments, and Brian captured so many that we could not believe our eyes. Oh my goodness, the photos are beautiful. The editing is superb and artistic. Brian put me at ease when we met at his studio to talk about everything. He really knows a lot about the whole wedding process and you can tell he really loves what he does. The shoot was fun and he guided us along the whole time. It was easy and we can't believe how the photos came out. They look so natural and candid. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and between him and his assistant, we had every single great shot that could've wanted and hundreds more that he came up with. He's very inventive with his shot selections and one of the things that I loved best was his shooting style, which I can only describe as photo-journalistic. He was never in our face snapping pics and didn't once drag us away from the reception fun to get more pics. With all that said, we had a TON of awesome pictures and I almost never even saw him. We had seen some of his portfolio beforehand but when he talked about it, his passion for the craft came through even more & we were sold. We were married in the beginning of June at the Salem Cross Inn. He met me, along with my mom & bridesmaids, at the salon that I worked at where us girls were getting ready. Then he followed us to the venue a few hours before the ceremony. Throughout all of the craziness that followed, Brian would step out & pop in. He spent some time with us & the guys while he explored some of the grounds. Formals went very smoothly. He covered all of the shots that we had discussed beforehand plus more. The second time we went out, it was just my husband & I. Let me say that this was his first wedding shoot at Salem Cross. Anyone who has ever been there knows how big it is. Well we covered a lot of area! Brian was excited to find just the right scene for each shot. We wanted him to roam wherever & it was worth it. We had a lot of fun & we could tell that he did too! He was able to catch different lighting throughout the day including the sunset's changing sky & some shots under the sky. Our wedding party also felt very natural with him. He also collaborated well with the venue directors, videographer, DJ, & florist. As the rest of the events continued, we saw Brian in the distance. Never once did he "get in the way" or disrupt any moment. He was quite the trooper & stayed until the very end. Being able to see the sneak peaks was like being able to continue our wedding bliss. We were blown away immediately even with those few pictures. Then when the rest came in the mail, we were nothing short of amazed! Starting with the presentation in the box! Brian had captured every shot! Even in places where we didn't know that he was there! Everything that we discussed in our meeting was covered & way more! Every idea was re-created! His signature shots where there with the sky, our rings, flowers, etc. He covered classic, creative, artsy, modern, natural, you name it. Everything flowed seamlessly! We could not choose just one picture as our wedding picture. Every single one was that good! Our families were beside themselves & still talk about them! We will never get sick of looking at them! Wedding planning is not easy. Trust me, I know! Every decision you make is stressful & you get to that point where you get sick of making decisions. One of the best decisions we made was choosing Brian as our wedding photographer. He was more than fair. We knew after seeing his portfolio that what he had to offer in his packages was worth way more compared to some of the top competitors in the area. After everything was said and done, this was confirmed ten-fold. We have been trying to refer Brian by mentioning Hale Channel to everyone we know who is looking for a photographer whether it is for a wedding or not. ago. That being said, I really didn't want my whole day to revolve around what picture is to be taken next. There is something quite magical about in-the-moment photos. Brian not only met my expectations, but went above and beyond. We did want some traditional photos just didn't want to spend our night stopping and posing over and over. The photo quality is nothing but the best. If you have been to any wedding shows you are well aware that photographers can cost an arm and a leg-- and then some. Brian has an excellent price point and considering the quality of his work, and the fact that he has no time limit-- top that off with all of your photos given to you on a flash drive-- hiring him as your photographer would be the best option for any bride. Brian is a hard working, professional and reliable photographer. He is nothing but a pleasure to work with. He responds almost immediately towards questions/appointments etc. As a nurse who works in long term care, I see my residents- a vast majority who hang their 50+ year wedding photos with great pleasure and pride. It was important to me that we find a photographer who would capture the love my husband and I share to pass to our children and childrens children.
