st minute included our new puppy, and became the most adorable set of family photos ever. After we saw how magical the engagement session turned out I knew Haley would capture the wedding perfectly. With two big families, she kept the portraits part of the day moving, made sure to get the candid moments, and grabbed us for the shots we wanted but wouldn't have been able to remember on the day (taking us outside at night for evening shots, getting us alone for a few minutes after the ceremony before my veil came off, etc.) She was also incredibly helpful in planning the timing of the day, and worked with our venue coordinator on arrivals, having people in the right locations at the right times, and making it so that my husband and I didn't have to also be wedding planners on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Haley Richter enough, both for her friendly professionalism and for the amazing photos she captured of us and our families. Book her, you will absolutely not regret it.

over half a year after booking them and she was willing to fly into Chicago for our new venue. Keristin asked us a lot of questions to make sure she understood what our vision was and what was important to us. On the day of, she got all of our shots without making it seem like our wedding was dictated by a photo schedule, which I've seen at a lot of other weddings. Her and her team were so easy to work with on that day and then she even got us our sneak peeks a day or two after the wedding!! The photos came out beautiful, with their special impressionistic glowy touch. Wedding photography can feel pricey, but trust me that it's truly worth it when you get your photos back and you feel like you're back in the moment!

Not only is she the most talented photographer, but she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process helping us with the timeline of our day and any questions that popped up. Then on our wedding day, Haley basically doubled as a day of coordinator. She practically ran the show, keeping everything on schedule, while helping everyone feel calm throughout the whole day. you might not know yet is what an incredible human she is. On your wedding day, aside from your SO, you spend the most time with your photog. I can say with pure honesty, there is no one we’d rather spend our day with. She is an actual ray of sunshine bringing a positive, calming energy, while also keeping your day on track. We had a major wedding day disaster. Haley and our secondary photog, Chloe, went WAY outside their responsibilities, to help us fix it, clear tears away, make us smile and be the ultimate hype women. They went above and BEYOND when we needed it most. In fact, they felt like family. We will forever be grateful and cherish the memories we have with Haley and Chloe. They are the best decisions we made (aside from marrying each other :) !!!). We’re looking forward to a lifetime of working with Haley to capture our sweetest moments!

So many of our guests came up to me at the wedding to let me know how great Haley and her associate were. pictures during the day and won't have any other interaction. But OMG did Haley make the day so much better! Not only was she there documenting such as special day for us, but she was great with all of the kids (getting them to smile for the pictures), she helped me with my veil, she saw when I was stressed and just helped me stay calm! You don't realize how much this person is part of the day and how much they really can make it more special and less stressful. Haley is the way to go for your wedding!!!

And if they're not available - change your date haha!) but that feeling of getting those photos after the wedding is over and having them be that INCREDIBLE is something else. I could literally frame every photo (and might just try). Somehow, Haley got into our dreams of what we wanted our wedding to look like and made it just that (but also way better)! First of all, Haley has been with us for nearly 3 years! Yes, 3! Through thick and thin. Postponing our wedding once, thinking we'd have it the next year. Then COVID came and so we postponed again a couple of months thinking we'd be under restrictions for 2 weeks (we all know how that went!) and so we had to pick another date the following year, but had to change the venue because of everything, and then we had to alter from an 80 person wedding to half of that to keep people safe, and when I tell you Haley did not once even hesitate to stick with us with a smile on her face... she. is. a. saint. On our wedding day, we arrived late but Haley and Jon kept things on track and moving. Some things were not quite ready and Haley was the friend I needed to get things going. Jon captured handsome photos of hubby and a beautiful photo of us dancing n the porch before heading into the reception (just to name a few!). We made it down the aisle right on time and still got to do our first look and everything just as we wanted beforehand. With family portraits, Haley was a star! She kept everyone on track, and even got cute photos of the screaming babies that are precious and as special as the Mona Lisa - artwork I tell you. The way she organized everyone and paid attention to detail was extremely helpful. As the bride, you may notice a tie is not straight or if you're like me, your shoulders shrug. Haley jumps in and makes sure things are perfect! She's like your sister and will make sure your photos are right. Now, would you believe that she sent us a sneak peak of our photos at breakfast the next morning!? I still can't believe it. Does she sleep?! We opened our photos and they were out of a magazine. Light, airy, but still personable and real. Everything I remembered was right there and as MAGICAL as it felt. She captured not just pictures but the feeling of the day. You can see the smiles, the laughs, the fun, the happy tears, the emotion and almost touch it. Our day was encapsulated. I could write a novel about Haley and the team and it wouldn't be enough. I honestly miss her lol Anyway, if you're going to invest in something for your wedding, consider this. We see "Pintrest Weddings" and it seems impossible, but here it is and better - it's real and yours. You will be thanking Haley Richter Photography and yourself for years to come for choosing them. This is your sign. This is what you're looking for. Worth every penny an we'd do it all again.

(especially her use of film!!!). Keristin did an amazing job for our engagement shoot and we received so many compliments on our photos. Just when we didn’t think things could get any better, Keristin blew us away with our wedding sneak peek photos as well and we can’t stop looking at them! They have been great with communication throughout and we couldn’t have asked for a better team!

e was perfect to shoot our day and we immediately vibed over our vision and our dogs. John had us laughing the entire time and was a champ to deal with the groomsmen all day :) It was a hot, June day and both Haley and John made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire day. Based on the pictures, you never would've known we were sweating outside! The attention to detail is impeccable. We got our sneak peeks in and we were blown away by how amazing they were! Their attention to detail is impeccable, and they both grabbed pictures of the day that truly showed how beautiful our day was.
